Avatar n tn Vague but persistent gastrointestinal complaints such as gas, nausea, indigestion. Frequency and/or urgency of urination. Any unexplained change in bowel habits. Abnormal postmenopausal bleeding. Weight gain or loss. Abdominal swelling and/or pain; bloating and/or a feeling of fullness. Pain during intercourse. If vague symptoms persist longer than 4-6 weeks, insist on a thorough rectovaginal examination.

Avatar m tn Hey guys, I didn't want to post this in the stomach cancer forum because I doubt it's cancer and I was afraid nobody would see it. So basically from around Christmas time I developed pretty bad diarrhea. Grim, I know. But this went on until around the second week of January. I put it down to drinking, eating crap and not being to the gym over Christmas, new year and my birthday. Anyway, it subsided for about a week and came back.
Avatar f tn Been to the doctors 3 times and had 3 different blood tests, most recent tests have been normal. Last year, I had an operation to remove my appendix and I had some pain similar to stomach pain I'm having recently but it disappeared last year after a couple of weeks.

Avatar f tn The current jabz are speeding up and causing illness. Ie; miscarriages, bleeding after menopause, 18 mo old girls bleeding, cancer, heart attacks, blood clots. As I said...if only I knew then what I know now. If someone is purposely harming us...we need to fight back amd stop them. Silence will get you killed. Godspeed Ladies, my heart is with you.
Avatar f tn I have read that the reason some people are diagnosed with colon cancer at not the latest stages but 1 or 2 is because they let the bleeding go for years thinking its hemorroids. Colon cancer is a slow disease, isn't it?
Avatar n tn Smoking, alcohol use, gastritis, acidity, tumors of stomach and food pipe, bleeding gastric ulcer, cancer of stomach, erosion of lining of food pipe, bleeding veins at esophageal (food pipe) sphincters etc all cause blood in saliva. This can be fresh red if coming from a place above the stomach. It can be brown or coffee colored if coming from the stomach. Tumors/cancers of the oral cavity or mouth, pyorrhea or pus in gums and Vitamin C deficiency can cause bleeding from mouth.
Avatar n tn Not necessarily. Stomach cancer can often have negative blood work (except you may be anemic). However it is much much more likely that you have something like an ulcer causing the black specks. Stomach cancer is very rare! How old are you?
Avatar f tn Six months is a too long time and you should have got evaluated by now. Stomach diseses, gastritis, peptic ulcer disease, stomach cancer all can lead to nausea and loss of appetite. Do you also have yellowish discoloration of your skin, eyes and urine? That could be due to gall bladder disease or hepatitis. Eat small healthy meals. You need to consult a primary care physician. He will further refer you to a gastroenterologist.

60505 tn?1313946644 "I am a 46yo (white) female, I have been checking statistics for stomach cancer and I do see as a female and with my race the odds are very low. For the last 2 months I have been getting stomach "pain" more uncomfortable than pain, along with a feeling of "fullness" sometimes with a sense of nausea. No weight loss. I would say I have been getting indigestion and reflux for as long as I can remember.
Avatar f tn I also probably should have mentioned that we have a family history of stomach cancer and stomach ulcers, which is also what got me to thinking this. My diet, when I do manage to get it down, is good - no worries there. I do not smoke, and drink alcohol occasionally. My specialist told me about an endoscopy but he said he didn't think I needed one, so instead, told me to wait. Do you really think it's worthwhile going back?
Avatar m tn I am very disturbed that the discomfort is not going. I have made 4 trips to the doctor and he is not worried. Do I have stomach cancer ? what should I do now ?
Avatar f tn Your bleeding may also be coming from hemorrhoids, a bacterial infection, or a polyp. I seriously doubt at your age you have colon cancer, but the longer you wait the worse it can become. Right now it may just be something benign, but left untreated can grow into something more serious. Never be afraid of what you might learn, fear what you haven't. If you let this go, trust me your body will force you to eventually deal with the problem, and then it may be too late.
Avatar m tn Primary liver cancer is fairly unusual, and the presence of a liver cancer usually causes no pain until it is quite progressed, so I believe with clear ultrasound and clear CT-Scan, you can exclude liver cancer as the cause of your pain. (Furthermore, unless you have a pre-existing liver disease such as cirrhosis, hepatitis, hemochromatosis, primary liver cancer would be highly unusual.) I hope your pain and discomfort is resolved soon, and best wishes for a speedy recovery.
Avatar m tn That saying black stools are an indication of bleeding in your stomach or bowels which is a worrying sign but in someone as young as you, it is more likely to be a bleeding ulcer or inflammatory bowel disease. Inflammatory bowel diseases are ulcerative colitis and Crohn disease which are associated with inflammation and swelling of the lining of the bowels and are associated with black, tarry stools with mucus.
Avatar m tn It is unlikely (but not impossible) that your symptoms indicate colon cancer. Type in rectal bleeding to google/yahoo and click on one of the many sites that describe the causes etc of rectal bleeding. The Medicinenet site is particularly informative. I suggest that you request a full colonoscopy.
