He told me after I explained my symptoms (gas, bloating and a stomach ache) that he believes it is IBS. I have not lost weight which is a good thing. I told him that I have been eating (while on vacation 4ozs of Activia) and now that I am home I have increased it to 8ozs.
My 3 year old daughter has had a off & on stomach ache for just a little over 2 weeks now. I took her to the pediatrician on Friday 7-14-06 & she said she thought it was acid reflux & gave samples of prevacid. She said we should see improvement in 3-4 days & I could also give her pepto if she still hurts later in day after prevacid. We have seen no improvement & last night I had to give her the pepto. I don't feel I should be giving her both of these meds everyday.

If she takes the medicine, she should be fine...and the ulcer should go away. you may want to find out if anything is troubling her, though. At school, at home, etc...because is may be stress that is causing it.

This calmed him for about 2 days. then he had more skinny stools and called the doctor up to ask him was he sure the test scanned his entire stomach and told him of this new problem. He then explained to me that he thought he had some sort of intestional blockage and if it became bad he would need to go the emergency room for surgery.

This can irrate the vagus nerve, or even the phrenic nerve that controls the diaphragm, if it puts pressure on these major nerves.

Slowly bend forward as far as you can comfortably bend, and look between your legs at the crotch. Slowly stand up erect.

In some people Motrin can cause Ulcers in the lining of the stomach. you know why it is that you read posts about peoples poor experience with antidepressant medication?
RDR, Hi sweetie, Well, now after the months that we have talked and supported each other thru our different phases, I am glad, after a year your still here on the forum after bieng over 5 months free of the Hydros!
