Stomach ache not eating

Common Questions and Answers about Stomach ache not eating

Avatar m tn I am suffering from acute stomach ache since the last 10 days. The pain comes about 30-45 mins after eating dinner and is quite acute. After taking antacids it subsides totally or to a dull ache after 5-10 mins. Belching always reduces the pain and I do belch from time to time throughout the day. During these pain attacks I am unable to belch to relieve the gas. This sort of ache use to come on quite infrequently; maybe once in 2-3 months. However it is recurring daily now.
Avatar n tn Friday, I went out to eat with my family, when we left the resteraunt, I felt fine, but after about 45 minutes, I got a horrible stomach ache. I layed down and I felt like I was going to throw up, and I could only sleep in 45 minute spurts. All of the sudden, my stomach started to feel better, so I fell asleep for a suffiecient amount of time. When I woke up, I felt just fine, until about 20 minutes later, my stomach started to hurt again. I layed down the whole day.

Avatar f tn It has been four months or better and I have been feeling better however I still have a stomach ache feeling that subsides when I go to bed and does not start up again until I am up four a couple of hours. (three to four). My GP tells me that it could be my nerves as I was a nervous wreck before I received the results of my tests. Could I have pick up a bacteria from being with this woman? Perhaps getting to close to her anus? Or is this something totally unrelated?
Avatar f tn ) everytime I eat I get very discomforting stomach ache and bloating that last 4-6 hours it just sux and makes me not eat as much as I probably should I'm 11 weeks is this normal?
Avatar n tn Also, with this stomach ache comes back pains at the same level around the solar plexus. This has happened many times before and vomiting the contents of my stomach will solve the problem, but not this time. This time the pain is aggravated. I tried to soothe my tummy with warm water too, but that didn't help too. What could be the possible cause of this? Could it be eating food and not drinking enough water? Or do I have some kind of internal problem?
Avatar m tn Hi, I get a very bad stomach ache and stomach cramps sometimes after eating fruit. It comes on around 3-4 hours after eating it and then gets progressively worse until I am finally sick. It is usually around 9 or 10 hours in to it before I am sick. Once sick, the pains start to very slowly ease and I feel generally much better. I have had an allergy test and am not allergic to fruit.
Avatar f tn Hello, Various possibilities are there.Do you get stomach ache and diarrhea only after eating a particular food or as such also?Is it accomapanied by any other sign or symptom?
187316 tn?1386360282 I'm not sure if this is normal (it probably is but just to make sure) after eating lunch today my stomach started cramping up extremely bad. It was like spikes were going through my stomach and into my back. I know that cramping could be because my uterus is expanding but has anyone ever known them to be extreme? I'm 17 1/2 weeks right now if that helps at all.
Avatar f tn So if I can not take peptobismal for my stomach what can I take!?!?!?!
Avatar n tn So my big question is, I have no heartburn, no burning in my esophagus, nothing like that, I just have a really bad stomach ache in my upper stomach area, can this really all be cause by an ulcer? Sometimes it aches so much it's hard to straighten up. It is often relived by sitting and reclining in a chair. It is also sometimes relived by eating. And sometimes can almost go away 100% for 3 or 4 days but then it comes back with a vengeance.
Avatar n tn It is a burning feeling, I was put on a medication for ulcers, it just basically coats my stomach when I eat but that isn't helping so I didn't know if it would still be an ulcer. I have just never had a stomach ache for this long.
1915216 tn?1328425108 Much pain and stomach ache. I have not been taking my multi-vitamin (which has B vitamins), because I ran out a few days ago. I wonder if this is why I am feeling so weak, fatigued and super brain fogged the last few days. Menses alone usually doesn't bring the strong brain fog I currently have. I feel I can barely concentrate on even watching a favorite TV show. My face is in pain, my head, too. It is such a distraction from doing nearly anything.
Avatar n tn Okay, that comment does not really help me. I am 5'6 and 120 lbs. I don't think my problem is too much eating. I do not indulge in raw anything. In fact, I am allergic to all seafood and have not eaten any since I was 4. I would like help in finding out what is wrong with my stomach.
Avatar m tn Anyone else experience intermittent stomach ache? I'm not nauseous, stomach just hurts. It seems to happen after I havent eaten for awhile, and eating usually makes it better. I had it all day after my shot, the next day none at all, yesterday in the morning, and again this morning. It's not excruciating, just very annoying. I always take my meds with food.
Avatar n tn (EKG was normal) 1year ago I had a Cardio Scan done which was normal. I have always had stomach issues and now I am not sure if this is my stomach or my heart. Have an appt. with my cardiologist next week. The back pain is really the thing that is bothering me now. I can't make the connection. Can my GERD be causing this back ache? (already had gallbladder removed about 7 years ago) HELP!

Avatar n tn Is anyone else being atacked by an alien in your stomach? The best way to describe this is it feels like I am being nawed at from the inside by something with gagged little teeth. Last nite I was in the bathroom for an hour, and I am not overstating it; in agony. It might be that I did not get to eat or take care of myself at all yesterday. I had my riba about 7am, then rushed to await the birth of my new grandson, Gabriel, 9lbs, 11 0z ...
Avatar n tn It seems like whenever I eat/drink anything before 8-ish, I would get a stomach ache. Also, its only during weekdays, I'm fine in the weekends at the moment. The problem went away during the summer too. So far, not eating breakfast and not drinking anything except for water up until 9-10 AM seems to solve the problem. But it'd be lovely if I could eat breakfast again, I hate going to school starving. Could this be stress related?
Avatar n tn I have exactly the same thing and it's definitly not a coincidence. Almost exactly an hour after eating pineapple I get a stomach ache. Is it an allergy or just maybe too acidic for me?
Avatar n tn I recommend for the headache taking Tylenol extra strength and not eating fried foods. Spicy foods do not damage your stomach lining contrary to popular beliefs though it can upset your condition and should be avoided. No sodas or caffeine. As always this advice should not take the place of your primary care physician nor should it be a substitute. If left untreated GERDs can cause long term damage to the Esophagus.
Avatar f tn I take a celebrex ever so often and that seems to settle it down. If you find out more can you let me know? My ache is down the right side not in front. maybe we can get to the bottom of this!
Avatar m tn Try a homeopathic remedy called nux vomica. Won't interfere with your meds. You can also use aloe vera juice for the stomach ache.
