Friday, I went out to eat with my family, when we left the resteraunt, I felt fine, but after about 45 minutes, I got a horrible stomach ache. I layed down and I felt like I was going to throw up, and I could only sleep in 45 minute spurts. All of the sudden, my stomach started to feel better, so I fell asleep for a suffiecient amount of time. When I woke up, I felt just fine, until about 20 minutes later, my stomach started to hurt again. I layed down the whole day.
Is anyone else being atacked by an alien in your stomach? The best way to describe this is it feels like I am being nawed at from the inside by something with gagged little teeth. Last nite I was in the bathroom for an hour, and I am not overstating it; in agony. It might be that I did not get to eat or take care of myself at all yesterday. I had my riba about 7am, then rushed to await the birth of my new grandson, Gabriel, 9lbs, 11 0z ...
This is actually caused by the toxic reaction the coffee has with stomach acid, which in turn triggers the LIVER to create bile, in an attempt to flush the toxins out.So yes, in theory it does help bile production.. But you know what? How bout drinking a glass of water and using natures purist remedy as the flush? No need to bombard the body with over 600 toxins, pesticides, and contaminants found in imported coffee.
I have the same issue I couldn't go for days and my stomach would start to ache so badly. My doctor told me to try fleet suppository. They have been study and have no side effects to pregnancy and work pretty good to get things moving. Good luck!
coffee depends on the acuidity, i've noticed my mothers coffee hurts my stomach while most diner coffee is just fine.. if however my stomach feels off i avoid coffee and go for tea which i haven't noticed a problem with. too much coffee definitely is a problem however so i usually stick to no more than one refill when i'm out. i haven't tried not eating at least 2 to 3 hours before bedtime or napping or laying at an angle in bed.. but i'll try that out and see if it helps at all..
Earlier this evening I was doing the dishes (a very unstressful task) when suddenly I felt the flipflop of my heart, immediately got a stomach ache and felt nausea. The stomach ache went away but the nausea stayed and when I get them bad enough I'll actually get some painful pressure in my chest. Which happened several minutes after I felt sick. Now I'm sitting, the PVCs have stopped, still feeling sick, exhausted, I want to lay down and sleep.

Im 25 and constantly day and night i have various episodes throughout the day of stomach noises and passing wind and sometimes do get a dull ache around my upper chest. My doctor has advised me to use Gaviscone and this does work for a short whille but then the problem is back again. I feel there is more to the problem but do not know what to do.
I always have a dull very slight ache around the whole stomach area. Sometimes if I lay flat and press on my stomach in different parts, it rumbles even more, and I pass very foul smelling gas from my back door. and some of the overall symptoms lessen a lot., especially the itchy skin, described later. When the dull stomach ache is more prominent as well as the internal explosions, my skin over my whole body goes nuts and feels like tiny bugs are biting my skin.
My 8 year old has been complaining of a stomach ache off and on. It has been occuring about every 2 weeks or so. This last one has started 3 days ago and continues, and failry constant. The pain is generally located on left lower abdomen but now is in the upper abdomen between his ribs. He has atleast one-two normal bowel movements daily, but does not relieve his discomfort. I have watched his diet, but it does not appear that a specific food is causing the pain.
About a year ago, after my third cup of coffee one morning, I started to feel cramps in my stomach. A couple of weeks later, after some sleepless nights ( the cramps seemed to occur early in the morning as well as between meals ) I was diagnosed with gastritis and given 20 mg of Prilosec for 3 weeks. I've stopped the coffee and watch what I eat although I can't say that my life is any less stressfull right now.
I am a 24 year old male who considers myself to be fairly athletic and healthy. Sadly, I started having a (left)lower back ache(close to my tail bone, approximately where my vertebrae is connected to my pelvis) back in March of this year. From analyzing my own daily physical routines, I strongly feel that the cause is my bad posture from driving my stick shift car where I had to stretch my left leg far out to reach the clutch.
I've been having bother with my stomach now for almost 5 months. I went to the Doc after the first 2 weeks or so, and he thought it was an acid problem, and put me on a ppi. Symptoms include burning/gnawing feelings in my upper abdomen, sometimes indigestion, sometimes rib ache. I feel something every day, but it is worse if I am stressed out, or the day after a busy/tiring day. I've also had a stool test for H. Pylori, which came back negative.
They just attributed the ectopic beats (PVC's) to lack of sleep, stress, and caffeine overload. (I love my coffee, and now drink decaf). The diagnostic mammo is clear. All my bloodwork was good. Some of the things you talked about, I'm unaware of, such as nerve impingement. I will have to do some research on it. Thank you for all your advice and taking the time to explain these things in detail for me! I truly hope I get to the root cause of this.
coffee stomach ache + emotional stomach ache. was worst, like usual, about two hours after i had coffee.....
HI LGK54, I already asked them earlier in the week because I have been having problems the last few weeks and they told me to go to the ER if I get to bad with the sx. I just read some of the old post about going to the ER and everyone knows it is a hit or miss thing...sometimes you get the rudest people working there.. Thanks for your comment. JJFL.....
Had my gall bladder out 3 months ago, but I'm still extremely nauseous all the time - especially after drinking alcohol or caffeine - it's NO fun. I also get bad headaches with the stomach ache/nausea - have had tons of tests done. i'm going in to see my doctor today because my symptoms seem to be getting worse. I'll let you all know if I find out anything new - most likely not, but we'll cross our fingers!
I had 2 upper endoscopies done and they found bile in my stomach, inflammation in my stomach, and the start of Barret's esophagus. I also had a gallbladder scan done and my galbladder is inflammed and doesn't contract right(no gallstones though). I also have gastroparesis, am taking relgan, but that hasn't stopped the reflux from coming up. My question is: what exactly could be coming up from my stomach all the time, no matter what I do or eat?
For the past few weeks I have been having an almost constant pain in the pit of my stomach. I have been nauseous on and off for this time but no vomiting. Usually this pain is a dull ache - like something is just sitting in there. It is quite uncomfortable. It hurts when I press on it. When I inhale and press my stomach out it also hurts. It does not seem to matter if I eat or not...still there. Occasionally, I get sharp shooting pains through to my back. No fever.
For the last 6 months I have had constant fullness/bloating and feels like i have had a weeks dinner, you know that feeling when your stomach feels like it is in your chest, about two inches down from sternum. I have not lost my appetite, no nausea, no weightloss.. I also burp, sometimes they are real deep ones and loud, also my ribs ache like i want to take my bra off but the ache is still there right under my ribs.
Stomach pain isn't cramping and there is no spotting but the pain won't subside. I always have some sort of stomach ache and nausea all the time but this pain is different. This isits 1st pregnancy and I'm just not sure what to do. Tried calling my boyfriend but he's sleeping and has his phone off. Only thing that seems to ease the pain a little is to take a few drags of a cigarette but I'm in the process of quitting and can't rely on smoking to help me.

As time proceeds and I notice what aggravates the ache in the stomach, I do at least now know that it IS getting worse even before AND after eating. My hands have spells and my feet always get worse at night. I'm waiting for the bloodwork. So: Can anyone give me any other tips on how to get my diet worked better into treating my liver nice? I mean... I know I can cut fat - it's mean how it aggravates the ache! I'd be sooo thankful for any kind of advice.
Lately im normal in the day well when I say normal im lightheaded and dull ache in my chest but in the evening around half a hour after I lay down for bed ouch stomach pain nothing I can do about it ive tried taking loads of pain killers all anti acids standing up sitting down everything I can possibly think of but the pain doesn't go away and keeps me up for at least 4 hours every night normally a lot more.
I am Italian and eat a wonderful diet. I have never had a stomach ache like that in my life. I can eat anything. I knew it was unusual. I had never even HEARD of gastritis, and if I did, thought it meant passing gas (which is normal and not painful) I am going to write up a scholarly article about it. It makes sense.
I have had that same stomach pain a couple other times since pancreatitis. Last week as I live by myself I had to call an ambulance as the pain in stomach was so severe. They did blood work and said my pancreais enzymes were elevated a little. Gave me pain pills and sent me home. I had a cat scan and endoscopy which did not show anything. Pain radiates to the back. What should I do? I live in a small area and do not like the doctor that did my surgery. Also.
Even if it was, I take alka-seltzer for it, and it goes away. I've got a stomach ache from exercising before tonight. This hurts a lot. I'm going to go out on a limb and take a guess. I think the pain is caused from not doing a proper "warm down." Doing intense physical exercise and then suddenly stopping might be harder on our bodies then we realize.
