Just be educated on the amount of caffeine in your drinks. Starbuckscoffee has WAY more caffeine than normal coffee. (300 mg compared to 120 mg) but their lattes have less caffeine, you can lower that even more by doing 1/2 caf. For me it keeps me from getting constipated, WORTH IT!
My doctor told me two cups of coffee is totally fine. It's 200 mg. So one medium coffee from Starbucks as long as you don't get a expresso shot is totally fine. :) just be sure to not drink any caffeine soda or eat to much chocalate with it.
I really want ice coffee from starbucks so bad but i wanna to know if is bad for baby i been no drink coffee since when i was month of preggo and i am 31w 1d now!
Its okay to drink coffee. When doctors say watch your caffeine intake, really they are just telling you to not drink anymore than you normally would before you were pregnant.
I have only ever bought caramel frappes from Starbucks. They're the only yummy thing on the menu imo.
I drink some like once every other week because I crave Starbucks and I can't afford to go there all the time. I Googled the amount of caffeine in my favorite drink and it only has 75mg of caffeine. You're allowed 200 mg a day.
no starbucks (since one small Starbuckscoffee/ drink has been shown to have anywhere between 200 and 500mg of caffeine) and just be sure you aren't getting caffeine from anywhere else so no tea, chocolate, or colas, root beer, or mountain dew
You can have 200 MG of caffeine. I splurge and get starbucks once a week and my baby is completely healthy. We all need our sanity and coffee is mine. Just don't drink at night the baby and you will be up all night long.
My Dr gave me the okay to have my 1 morning cup of coffee because it helps with my chronic migraines and I am more limited on what I can take than the average pregnant woman because I'm epileptic.
Especially because of the addictive nature of stimulants. Avg. caffeine in a 16oz Starbuckscoffee is 320 mg. double what other store bought coffees contain. I believe it's the same thing tobacco companies began in the 1970's . Spraying nicotine onto the curing leaves used for cigarettes increased the addictive qualities of a substance already known to be addictive.
Go to Starbucks' website. You can check the caffeine content on all you're favorite drinks. March of Dimes recommends 150-300 mg of caffeine per day, which does allow for a cup of coffee. Just be aware that some food, like chocolate, contains caffeine too.
Yes, it's fine up to 200 MG of caffeine. That's about a tall at Starbucks. Decaf is a bad choice since it has a ton of nasty chemicals to take out the caffeine. It's better to drink the real thing.
You can have up to 200 mg of caffeine PER DAY . I have had a cup of coffee everyday with all 3 of my kids and all of them are perfectly healthy. Moderation is key hun. Just drink lots of water.
So I been craving Starbucks green tea frappuccino like crazy but I have people telling be it has caffeine and that I can't drink it but I went to Starbucks yesterday and asked the clerk if green tea frappuccino has caffeine and she said no!! What to do???
It really depends upon what you get, many Starbucks coffees have way more caffeine than you should have in a day (regardless of trimester) however if you wanted to get a fancy drink that's be fine if you stick with a small.
