So I been craving Starbucks green tea frappuccino like crazy but I have people telling be it has caffeine and that I can't drink it but I went to Starbucks yesterday and asked the clerk if green tea frappuccino has caffeine and she said no!! What to do???

I've been craving an iced coffee from Starbucks for weeks now and i was worried about the caffeine intake, but i got decaf and i couldn't tell the difference!!! I don't feel so guilty now!!!

Just be educated on the amount of caffeine in your drinks. Starbucks coffee has WAY more caffeine than normal coffee. (300 mg compared to 120 mg) but their lattes have less caffeine, you can lower that even more by doing 1/2 caf. For me it keeps me from getting constipated, WORTH IT!

Look up the website caffeine informer, you can put in the drink and size and get a good idea the amount of caffeine. They also have caffeine free options.

Spraying nicotine onto the curing leaves used for cigarettes increased the addictive qualities of a substance already known to be addictive.

My doc said up to 200mg on caffeine a day is considered safe. That's a large coffee from Tim Horton's. I would check the nutrional info at Starbucks to see the caffeine amount and then decide. I'm sure one won't hurt at any rate. I drink coffee most days and haven't had any issues. I actually just stopped because it's giving me heartburn.

You are allowed like two cups of coffee a day. I have stopped drinking it too but a small amount a day is still allowed.

Remember places like Starbucks usually use espresso to make their frozen/fancy drinks which has quite a bit of caffeine concentrated in a small amount of liquid. Also remember that the caffeine amounts listed on their websites are average amounts and could be very different than what you actually receive.

Your caffeine intake should be limited. Just make sure you drink lots of water to try and balance things out. Also, you can order decaf if you can stand it. But 1 cup for the day is very low and ok. I know I went through a bad period of migraines from caffeine withdrawl before I became pregnant.

I worked at Starbucks. They have light and coffee based fraps. Most people think its straight coffee but its nothing but syrups and sugar. That's really all they are milk, syrups, ice and SOME are coffee based. They should have the fraps listed as coffee and non caffinated. The caramel is just sugars milk and ice, go for it! Stay away from the machiatos tho they deff have a lot of coffee.

From what I've read, caffeine is ok under the amount of 300mg a day. I buy Folgers half caff brand coffee so its already mixed and drink 1 to 2 cups a day. 3 days a week when I work, I also have 1 cup of regular. I don't drink pop alot, but once in awhile a Pepsi with certain dinners. My kids are fine, they are very active, but I don't think that has anything to do with the caffeine i consumed when I was pregnant, just their personality lol.

Its okay to drink coffee. When doctors say watch your caffeine intake, really they are just telling you to not drink anymore than you normally would before you were pregnant. I have only ever bought caramel frappes from Starbucks. They're the only yummy thing on the menu imo.
