Please help me with why I am experiencing a sharp stabbing pain in my right breast near the nipple
Hi guys for about 3 weeks i have had a stabbing pain in my right breast. M breast is really painfull ive had to stop wearing a bra. The stabbing paing pain is not constant but when i get it it is really painful. I am currently 23 weeks pregnant ive contacted my midwife and she seems to think its ot pregnancy related. Ive also checked myself for any lumps and havent found any, but i am really worried as it could be something which may affect the life of my unborn child.
I have been getting pains under my ribs and it has been going through 2 my back a couple of times now sometimes I get out of breath because of it. not sure how far on I am yet got the midwife on Tuesday .
Now that my cycle is over with they are painful, everytime the nipples get erect it feels like rocks are in them. the pain is pretty bad, the pain is modtly in my left breast but it does go into my right. Also right before or sometimes after my cycle, I notice I get pain on my left side that goes all the way down to my left knee, and I am talking stabbing pain!! Plus, there's more, last month after having intercourse with my husband i spotted for two days straight, this is not normal for me.
I have been feeling so good this pregnancy and then I just bent down to get a baking dish and when I stood up, my left rib under my breast had the most intense stabbing/sharp pain! I had to take a really shallow breath because it hurt so bad to even breath...I thought it might just be the baby in an uncomfy spot but it is going on 15 minutes...I am sitting now and do feel a bit better but if I try to take a full breath, it starts up again...Any advice!?
Gallstones are more common in pregnancy and present as sharp stabbing pain in the right upper quadrant, usually occurs after a fatty meal. You would need an ultrasound to diagnose this. Initial treatment is to change your diet - eating only non-fat meals. You may want to look up "gallbladder disease" on the internet and see if your symptoms are similar.
But i have been feeling more tired, some every now and then nausea, mild cramping, some time feel bloated, gassy ( sorry TMI) extreme lower back pain, and quick sharp stabbing pains in my breast is that normal? I dont have soreness in breast. I will be going to dr soon to get a blood test cuz i still have not got my period and i have never been this late. Any advice or past expirences? I would really appreciate it!
When I touch it, it feels like a sore muscle would with a slight stabbing pain. My breast does appear slightly puffy where the pain is, but no discoloration. My OB has felt around the area and can't find anything suspicious. She notices that the area is slightly swollen and has suggested that it's just inflamed glands or lymph nodes. I'm just concerned because the pain hasn't subsided and has been there for a couple of weeks.
now i have these huge bumps around the nipples and those are also normal as well. i know it ***** but you just gotta stick the breast pain out theres not much they can do for you trust me i have begged for meds from my doc lol. and congrats on your baby i wish you a healthy and wonderful pregnancy.
I have probably had endo since I started menstruating -I had all the symptoms, but also truly terrible doctors, in both NZ and then in the UK and then Canada, where I now live. It took me 18 years since first presentation of symptoms to get a diagnosis - and I saw 5 male gynaecologists who told me my problems were stress related (or in one case, cancer!!) along the way.. idiots. I was finally diagnosed by a female radiologist and a female gp - bless them.
It was a sharp stabbing pain which lasted 2 minutes...then it was gone but with light pain in my right breast. Not to mention I had what I assume was the flu & nosebleed. I think I ovulated on the 9th cuz my cm was extremely stretchy & clear Has anyone had these symptoms & were (ended up) pregnant?
Signs and Symptoms Ectopic pregnancy can be difficult to diagnose because symptoms often mirror those of a normal early pregnancy. These can include missed periods, breast tenderness, nausea, vomiting, or frequent urination. The first warning signs of an ectopic pregnancy are often pain or vaginal bleeding. You might feel pain in your pelvis, abdomen, or, in extreme cases, even your shoulder or neck (if blood from a ruptured ectopic pregnancy builds up and irritates certain nerves).
Im currently 31 weeks pregnant.. earlier in my pregnancy I had achy breasts... today however I was at work and started getting sharp pains in my left breast like I was getting stabbed with a needle. I keep randomly feeling it now deep inside. Is this normal? I know women get breast pains but wasn't sure what type exactly..
Yes ma'am, and have been having them since about week 15! One thing about it you only hopefully have 20 stabbing back pain, full bladder syndrome, toes in your ribs, butt in your side weeks left to go! That didnt help did it? :) I'm knocking on week 27 and the count down has begun 13wks left on this journey to dirty diapers, engorged breast, sleepless nights, and uncombed hair. Motherhood, gotta love it. I wouldnt trade it for a thing in this world!
I have swollen lymph nodes above my collarbone that have been there since this started and recently I have developed a stabbing pain that even goes up into my shoulder area and a very deep itch. I have had a mammo. and an ultrasound and other than asymmetric heterogenously dense breast they saw nothing that would cause this. I am 33. My doctors are concerned about as they say this "problem area" but not sure what to do. So I was wondering if I am going to have problems down the road.
I have the same upper left breast pain. (under arm pit) I also feel it once and a while on the right side as well. I just recently changed jobs and am experiencing a lot of stress. Thought it could be a heart issue, however I'm only 34 and in pretty good shape. (Played high school sports as a kid) After reading the above I've come to realize that the increased stress and anxiety (new job, new baby, etc.) may cause you to worry at little more that you should.
I have been told I had two ectopics before although i have never felt any pain. Just sharp stabbing pains in the cervix and backache and cramping and brown stuff as well via toilet usage....but I often wonder if this was just a cop-out answer the docs gave me to disguise a blood-clot disorder. As I never had actually side pain nor a surgery as my body took care of itself. I guess they said etopic cause they never saw a sac. and from my hcg levels... I dont know.
Hi, i was wondering if trapped gas can cause chest soreness, chest tightness, shortness of breath, stabbing pain which is severe enough to think you are having a serious heart problem. and if the answer is yes, how does one go about solving this trapped gas problem? Thanks.
Have you ever felt a stabbing pain on your breast that last like 2 seconds but it actually feels like someone is stabbing you on the side under your breast????? I had experienced that and my 14 year old have felt it as well. I heard that it happens because one of your cyst is exploding!!!!OMG!!! Am I going crazy?
Before I found out I was having stabbing pain on my left side below my belly button. I thought my pregnancy was eptopic as soon as I saw my positive result. This pain was sharp, sudden, and kept me awake a full night. I called the doc as soon as I got a positive on my test. They did an ultrasound, and found out it was just a cyst (which is perfectly normal for you have to have) on my left ovary. It did eventually rupture as well, and it was so painful.
My problem is having sharp pains going thru my nipples, it feels like somebody is stabbing me from the inside of my breast to the end of my nipples. I feel like I am having a heart attack at times but it is also in my left breast.
Hi, Inflammatory breast cancer is a very rare type of cancer that would usually present with rapid, unusual increase in breast size, redness, rash, persistent itching of breast or nipple,a lump or thickening of breast tissue, stabbing pain and/or soreness of breast, feverish breast, swelling of lymph nodes under the arm or above the collarbone, dimpling or nipple retraction. The skin of the breast may also show the pitted appearance called peau d'orange (like the skin of an orange).
For about 2 or 3 weeks now I have been having these occassional pains in my right breast. The pains are like stabbing pains that shoot across my breast and last about 5 to 30 seconds. For the past 3 days I've had A VERY sore breast on the right side. It hurts to touch it like it's bruised. Anyone have any clue what could cause only ONE breast to be sore? Has this happened to any of you?
Would disappear then re-appear. Had intense, throbbing, stabbing pain. Breasts swollen since last Sept. Itching and red bumps have not reoccurred. Mammogram was inconclusive due to breast tissue density increase since last mammogram. Saw Specialist. Lumps found to be cysts with ultrasound. Had breast MRI. No solid masses found. Gave up bras, caffeine, and chocolate. Started Vitamin E capsules as recommended to help reduce occurrence of cysts. Had some relief by following treatment.
I know the chance is extremely slim, but I am 1 month late which never happens, am cramping though it is stabbing pain in my right lower abdomen (my appendix are already out). Any ideas??? When should I see a dr. or worry???
I plan on taking another later this week after I am suppose to start. I have had some signs of pregnancy but not all the signs of pregnancy. My breast are tender. I have had frequent urination and I'm tired a lot a little nausea here and there too. Has anyone here that has posted actually had a positive test and been pregnant or is this possibly just another side affect? I am really worried I already care for 4 children. 3 of my own and 1 that is my sister.
