sprintec skipping periods

Good evening! I have been taking Sprintec for the past two months but I'm concern cause in those last two month's I haven't had a period. I have been taking it everyday and and I can say I at least !missed one day each month but other than that I been doing fine.

ok i have a question. I take sprintec birth control.On saturday, I had a doctors appt and somehow forgot to take my birth control pill... and had sex that night.. but we used a condom. The next day when I took my birth control pill, I didn't realize that I was taking a white pill(instead of the blue pill which corresponded with Sunday). I didn't realize this until Monday at work, when I was going to take my pill for Monday and realized that Sunday's pill was there as well.

I’m currently on sprintec for birth control and i like to skip the last week in the pack to prevent bleeding. When i do this i do not have enough pills to keep taking the next pack. My pharmacy will not refill until it’s time. What can i do?

I started sprintec about five weeks ago...I have SUPER heavy periods (fibroids) and actually qualify for a hysterectomy, but my insurance is crap and it would cost me $2600 out of pocket. I also always have.a.BAD case of PMS!!! Anywho, I'm not willing to pay that price for an elective surgery so my Dr put me on Sprintec, but instead of three weeks active/one week reminder, I'm on six weeks active/one week reminder.

she means not taking the placebo birth control pills ...in effect skipping your periods by going straight back to the b.c. pills with the hormones. You can apparently do the same with the patch as well ...just keep putting one on every week instead of going 'off' for that fourth week. As for it affecting conception, I don't know how it affects that. There are millions of women out there who already have problems getting a period each month and knowing when they're ovulating .

Have you been to a gynecologist or physician about this? There is something going on, and you need to figure out what it is. It's not healthy to have such long periods and is often a symptom of hormonal issues or other problems.

I was on Ortho Tri for nine years, no problems. After switching to sprintec, the pills no longer worked. I was having periods while on the active pills and my vulva became dry and irritated (like a knife stabbing it). I can't get the pain to go away. Anyone else with this problem?

I am on the birth control pill called Sprintec! I have three weeks of blue pills and one week of white pills. Earlier I was in my third week of blue pills when I accidentally didn't see that I had one blue pill left so I took a white pill and then the next day I spotted the blue pill and took it!

t keep my skin under control without being on the pill, so I saw my gyn and she suggested I might feel better if I have a steady dose of hormones instead of the varying levels Tri Sprintec provided. She prescribed Sprintec, which I will be starting next week. Could you help me understand the difference of how these two similar pills work? I got on sprintec birth control in september and was taking them for 3months. My period came september 25th, october 23rd and november 20th. Before i took birth control i had iregular periods and once i got on the pills they were 28days, besides november because im still waiting for it to come in 2weeks if it happens. But im not on birth control for november and so on. My periods are 5-6 days long. So for november i got off on the 24th and had sex 24, 26, 27, 28, 30, 1, 2.

hi I'm a 23 year old female on birth control (sprintec) and have been for 5 years now. After coming into sexual contact with an unprotected partner 5 days later I noticed I have a brownish mucousy discharge with a bit of an odor. I'm really worried and I have been under a lot of stress lately. My period should be coming in a week and a half and all of my previous periods have been normal. Please help! I'm a little confused on what you're saying? Are you skipping all of the non-active pills("sugar pills" with no hormones)? It'd be a good idea to make a doctor's appointment with your gyno to see what is going on. It could be break through bleeding or another complication, but your doctor will have to tell you what is going on.

Lol I was given sprintec pills but I was thinking of trying natural or non hormonal methods birth control. Tracking, condoms, etc. I have been on hormonal birth control pretty much since I was 17. I can't loose weight very easily. The last year has left me with greasy, and yet somehow brittle hair. Horrid acne. Heavy periods, and extra weight. My doctor shrugged me off when I mentioned being concerned with weight gain. Saying it's not that common.

I have been on tri-sprintec for 2 months. This sunday i will be starting my third pack of pills. So right now I'm on the sugar pills and this will be my third day taking them. Hello! I have been on sprintec for 2 years now and my periods have always started during the last week of pills- give or take 2 pills. I had COVID the beginning of september and my period has been irregular since. I started my period in the middle of the pack for 3 cycles now. My periods last 2 weeks. I will start a full on cycle in the middle of the 2nd week of pills and will not get off until I start a new pack.

I am going to be going on vacation in October and of course my period is expected to start right in the middle of the trip. I am on tri sprintec, which I realize is a triphasic pill so there are different hormones every week. I know if I skip the sugar pills then start a new pack that I will most likely have break through bleeding.

Sometimes periods will randomly be a day or two later than they usually come when you're on the pill. Mine usually starts the end of the third/beginning of the fourth day of the placebo week, but I've had a time or two where it waited until the fifth or sixth day. If you don't get it by the time it's time to start the next pack, take a test, but read your insert. I'm on Microgestin, and it only says to be concerned if you miss more than one period.

I am concerned about my late period. I have been on Tri-Sprintec for quite a few months now. I'm currently on my last week taking the inactive white pills.
