I was on a triphasic pill for years (Tri Sprintec). It was good for keeping acne under control (which is why I originally went on it at age 20). But in the last few years I began suffering from extreme fatigue, lots of water retention, vaginal dryness, etc, and as all my tests were normal my PCP suggested the pill was causing it.
I went off the pill completely 4 months ago and about 2 months after started experiencing extremely oily skin and massive hair shedding, among other things.
Is tri-sprintec a bc pill? If so, you likely confused your body by going on and then off, I wouldn't worry too much. If you still dont get your period in a week test again.
BTW- just because he didn't come in you doesn't mean you cant be pregnant, there is pre-*** and it can get you pregnant. If you dont want to be pregnant get on some bc and stay on it.
Ive be taking sprintec for 3months forgot to refill my prescription so I have missed 4 pills in a row sunday-wednesday they would all be blue pills. I have had intercourse with in theses days. Should I take a pregnancy test before I start back on the pill? If so when should I take the pregnancy test?
Hello, if a person takes their birth control (Tri Sprintec) every night at 9pm, but forgets to take it at 9pm one night and has sex from 930pm to 1030pm, and then remembers to take it again at 12 midnight (3 hours late),
is there a chance for pregnancy?
I was on Ortho Tri for nine years, no problems. After switching to sprintec, the pills no longer worked. I was having periods while on the active pills and my vulva became dry and irritated (like a knife stabbing it). I can't get the pain to go away. Anyone else with this problem?
I'm taking Sprintec birth control. Ive been on it for about 7 months now. On this pill pack, I missed the very first active pill on week 1, and took it the next morning. I usually start on a sunday, but I took the pill on that Monday. That Thursday, I was with my long distance boyfriend for the weekend and we had sex 4 times. He wore a condom every time, but I'm still scared. Could I be pregnant?
Anyways, i started tuesday, i made up the sunday pill on tuesday and took another pill later that night, then a make up pill for monday, and another later on wednesday that night. Then on thursday i just took the pill once a day, on the same time everyday. I never missed the pill at all, nor was i late for the pill at all. I am very strict with timing. Anyways, i had partial intercourse on may 26. He didnt ejaculate inside me at all. I continued taking the pills regularly Ok.
By Thursday I was back on track and Took one pill. Friday I took one pill and Saturday I took one pill. Saturday night I had unprotected sex. Sunday which is today, I took one pill. Would I have been back on track before having sex on that Saturday and could i have had an increased chance of getting pregnant?
Sprintec? If you're on a birth control pill, you shouldn't be ovulating.
I have been on birth control for 6 months. I was taking Gildess up until 3 weeks ago, where i started on Sprintec (Gildess was making me bleed very irregularly). I've been taking it very regularly, at the same time every day. Last saturday, I took my pill as normal. Saturday night, I had sex without a condom. Sunday, I took my pill as normal, but threw up about half an hour later, and am pretty convinced I threw up the pill. Am I still protected? Or should I be very concerned?

I stopped taking Sprintec 28 at the starting of the 3rd weeks blue pills. The day after i stopped the pill i started seeing a brownish/redish discharge. The next day i started bleeding like my period had started. This lasted for 5-6 days. Was this my normal period or withdrawl bleeding? Hi I am on sprintec birth control pill and I have been for almost 10 months now. I've never missed a pill and I've always taken it on time, maybe a half hour to an hour late here and there but that doesn't happen very often. I had unprotected sex and he doesn't think he ejaculated in me but wasn't sure so I took plan b 16 hours later. This happened on the 8th of January and I had a little bit of light brown discharge today.
I've been on Sprintec birth control for 6 months and never had this problem till now.
I have always started my period 3 days after I started taking the white pill. Right now I'm on the last week of my blue pills and I've started cramping and spotting a little. I'm not sure if it's normal or not to start your period a week early while on birth control or not because it's never happened to me until now.

I've been taking sprintec for almost a year now. I take my pill at the same time everyday, I do not miss any pills. But everyday around 11am I start getting cramps and my stomach becomes extremely bloated and I start spotting. It's a dark red some times brownish color but enough where I have to wear a panty liner or tampon. It stops everyday about 30 minutes after I take my birth control at 8:05pm. Why is this happening?
I'm not on the same pill as you but I just started a generic generic Sprintec and it has caused tingly, itchy skin.
I have been on tri-sprintec birth control for 8+ years. I seemed to get a zit here and there on the side of my chin around my period, but for the past 6-8 months I seem to have constant breakouts mainly on the sides of my chin. It is all the time, not just around my period. The right side is worse than the left. The rest of my skin is clear. I have tried antibiotics, Retin-A, changing all my face products, serums, facials and even a juice cleanse.
Good evening! I have been taking Sprintec for the past two months but I'm concern cause in those last two month's I haven't had a period. I have been taking it everyday and and I can say I at least !missed one day each month but other than that I been doing fine.
