My next cycle was regular 28days. One day 1 of my period I started tri-sprintec, but discontinued it after 3 pills. This month my period is now going on 5 days late and 2 pregnancy tests have been negative. Is this normal? I did have unprotected sex during this month, but my husband did not ejaculate inside of me. t keep my skin under control without being on the pill, so I saw my gyn and she suggested I might feel better if I have a steady dose of hormones instead of the varying levels Tri Sprintec provided. She prescribed Sprintec, which I will be starting next week.
Could you help me understand the difference of how these two similar pills work? I know they are the same hormones, but how much do the levels differ?
m 18 years old and I started taking tri sprintec birth control at the beginning of September and my period started in the second week of the pack. Its been 2 and half weeks and my period still won't stop and it keeps getting heavier and heavier and I've never had this problem. I called my gyno and they said to wait about 3 months and see what happens, but I don't think I can wait that long my period and cramps are killing me and I'm really moody lately.
I've been taking Sprintec for years. Never got my period the first time round due to my hormones adjusting. You were two weeks in so you are covered, shouldn't be pregnant. You should have your period by that fourth placebo the next time round. Continue taking it like you are and you'll be fine. Try not to stress yourself out, it makes everything worse.

I’m currently on sprintec for birth control and i like to skip the last week in the pack to prevent bleeding. When i do this i do not have enough pills to keep taking the next pack. My pharmacy will not refill until it’s time. What can i do?
Today im supposed to take my second plabebo pill and i still didnt get my period..Am i being paraniod, or is my period just two days late because im new on birthcontrol...? I have always started my period 3 days after I started taking the white pill. Right now I'm on the last week of my blue pills and I've started cramping and spotting a little. I'm not sure if it's normal or not to start your period a week early while on birth control or not because it's never happened to me until now.

My period was due last week but on from the 20th to the 25th my body was a mess. Exhausted, nauseous, cramping and weak some days. My period didn't really come on. There was some brown discharge and some blood when I urinated on the 25 th. So I wore a pad to sleep nothing and a tampon when I got up. I took Tri-Sprintec (which is the same thing as Trinessa) for 3 years and my period almost always came on Wednesday of my inactive week (I was a Sunday start so Wednesday was the 4th day of the inactive pill week). Once or twice it came on Tuesday.
It is because it take a few days after the last active pill for your progesterone levels to level out and trigger your period.
So in February I was bleeding for 2-3 weeks, went to my doctor had an ultrasound and she told me that my lining was thin and that was the cause. I asked if I needed to stop taking it or switch she said no that it was fine. I was mid pack when I went. I'm on the pill(tri-sprintec). I finished that pack and went onto my sugar pills I was still bleeding so didn't pay any mind. The bleeding stopped and was already on a new pack, finished that pack was on my sugar pills and no period.
I just started using the birth control Sprintec a week ago. I had a stroke on Monday. I cannot walk well, but other than that I have recovered quickly. I will be 20 on Saturday. I am only 19. I want to know how many others are out there who have taken sprintec and either had a TIA or a stroke due the birth control...is there anyone else?
I am currently taking Tri-Sprintec, and a week before and after my period I do not have discharge. However, the other two weeks, I have excessive discharge daily. I've talked to my MD about it and she thinks that since I don't have any other crazy side effects or issues besides the discharge, then I should basically deal with it. Because If I go onto another birth control I might have worse side effects etc.
I am concerned about my late period. I have been on Tri-Sprintec for quite a few months now. I'm currently on my last week taking the inactive white pills. So far I took about 4 of these pills and haven't gotten my period yet. Last month, I was under a lot of stress and I got it twice in that month. I've been on tri sprintec (combination pill) for about 4 years now. My period ended this past Sunday and on the same day I was supposed to pick up my new pack and start it that Sunday. I forgot and didn't end up getting it until Tuesday. so Tuesday I took two pills (for Sunday and Monday) and Wednesday I took two pills ( for Tuesday and Wednesday). By Thursday I was back on track and Took one pill. Friday I took one pill and Saturday I took one pill. Saturday night I had unprotected sex.
Also I have been more moody than normal. It is a week before the start of my period. I had sex several times in the last two weeks. I am on the pill Tri-sprintec, but I did miss a few pills at the beginning of this month. I haven't tested yet because I think it is still too early. What do you think?

First time user bc. In may I started bc (sprintec) always on time. Had intercourse 2 and half weeks later. He didnt ejaculate inside me at all. It only lasted a minute. Im now on day four of placebo pills and i still havent gotten my.period and im freaking out. I was a virgin when i had intercourse, and its my first time.taking birth control..any advice..? Anyone please?
