I missed one blue active sprintec pill yesterday. I noticed this morning and took two today. This is my third week of active pills. I have one more active pill to take tomorrow and then I have a week of white/placebo pills. Do I need to finish the active pills and then skip the placebos and start a new pack of active pills? Or is it okay because I've only missed one pill in six months to take the last active pill of this pack and then take the placebo pills?
Then on thursday i just took the pill once a day, on the same time everyday. I never missed the pill at all, nor was i late for the pill at all. I am very strict with timing. Anyways, i had partial intercourse on may 26. He didnt ejaculate inside me at all. I continued taking the pills regularly Ok. I finished the active pills on saturday, and i began taking placebo pills (inactive pills) sunday. Which i was supposed to begin my period.

I meant to include in the beginning..is sprintec the exact same dose of medicine in every pill or does each pill have a higher amount of medicine in it than the pill prior to that one?
I am just almost finished my 3rd month on the pill. I missed my last active pill (pill #21) of the pack this month (took it about 4 hours late). I am now on the placebo pills. Should i start the next pack a day later or earlier? Or should i just start it regularly, on sunday? Also do i need a backup birth control method? Thanks in advance to anyone that answered!

Now it is Saturday (this happened on Monday or Tuesday) and i am on my last blue active pill of sprintec 28 ( been on for 6 months now). What should I expect? I remember two years ago when I missed three active pills I got my period for entire month and earlier this year I took plan b and broke out in horrible acne for that week. Should i expect horrible acne, mood swings, and an irregular period?
On Thursday night I forgot to take my birth control, I took it when i woke up Friday morning and then took my next pill that same day right on time. I've been on birth control for years(2 years and 3 months). I had unprotected sex late friday night..I know it doesn't matter but he pulled out. And I know my boyfriend well..he's never precame. I just wanted to know should I be freaking out?! Or can I stay calm?
I had sex on Thursday, and took Plan B as a backup Friday morning. I was worried because I missed one pill about a week and half before intercourse. My period should start on Tuesday. With all above said, is my pregnancy risk low?
So now it is Saturday and I am on my last active pill...my question is what should i expect from missing a pill? I remember two years ago when I was on birth control i missed three pills in a row and i ended up having my period for a month and was a horomonal mess. And earlier this year i took plan b and broke out horrible cystic acne that next week. Will my period be messed up? Will I have more mood swings? Break out?
I've been taking Tri-sprintec (estrogen and progestin combination birth control pill) for the last year and a half. I went on vacation and completely forgot to bring my birth control with me, consequently failing to take the first 7 pills of week 1. This means that since my last period, I have NOT been taking any pills for a week. I am a Sunday starter. What should I do? Should I start a new pack the following Sunday? When will the contraceptive be effective?
Hello, Chances of pregnancy are less because you had taken the white pill. missed periods and changes in mood are the earliest symptoms of pregnancy. The area around your nipples turns dark. Tiredness, nausea and vomiting, sometimes referred to as morning sickness, ranging from queasiness to severe vomiting that can manifest just in the morning are also early symptoms. If you notice these symptoms then chances of pregnancy are there. In that case, get your serum HCG levels checked.
I missed 3 pills in the 1st week of my pack of BC (tri-sprintec) and had unprotected sex during that time, I know how to finish the pack and take the rest of the pills, but I am wondering what my chances of becoming pregnant are?
I had taken the pill maybe 15 years ago and stopped because I was starting a family. I was given the pill in dec 2005 to help with my PMS,heavy bleediing etc. I was on it for one month and had extreme anxiety from it. Seriously, I would worry about dying, a sniffle caused me to think I was dying. I couldn't breathe, my heart would pound. I had EKG, blood work, etc. everything came out fine. So, I quit the pill. It's been 1 year.
I've been on birth control (sprintec) for years. This past month I was late picking up my birth control pack from the pharmacy by 3 days. I also had a root canal that later caused an infection that was very hard to get rid of. The day i picked up all my prescriptions, I got my birth control (finally) along with antibiotics. I doubled up on the first day of my bc (three days behind) and started taking pencillin the first week.
I'm on the pill, Tri-sprintec, and this is my fourth month using it. I take it consistently and haven't missed a pill, so it's perfect use. I started a new pack just last Sunday, and today I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend. He didn't finish in me but we had sex right after he came and still had sperm on him. What are the chances I'll get pregnant? Should i take an emergency contraceptive like the morning after pill? Would it help? My period isn't due for another three weeks I'm scared!
im taking sprintec bith control pills. and ive missed like 4 days. i had sex the night before i started spotting. is there any chances that im pregnant?
I'm on the birth control pill, Tri-sprintec, and consistently take it and have not missed any pill. I'm currently on my fourth month of taking it, and am on the first week of a new pack. I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend today and he didn't come in me, but we had sex again right after he came and there was most likely still sperm on his penis. My period doesn't come for another few weeks, so should I take an emergency contraceptive or would I be good with just my pill? Please help!
You said that when you are on the pill and you missed a couple of pills your body thinks that it is time for another period. So do you count that day as the first day of your period even if you are not bleeding a whole lot, your blood is brown and no cramps?
If you miss a pill you should never take two in Tue same day. It doesn't work like that.
I haven't been on The pill since I was 15. Back then, I took it to regulate my periods, which have been irregular all through my adolescence. I am 20 now, and am with my boyfriend of 6 months. We started being sexually active in late June 2010. For this reason, I wanted to get back on the pill to be safe. I also wanted to re-start the pill because my periods have been horribly irregular for the past 5 months or so...and I haven't actually had my period in a good 4 months or more.
I have been on tri sprintec generic for ortho tri cyclen for 8 months now. I have never missed a pill untill lately. I'm usually on top of taking it right on time every time but somehow I managed to miss two pills. The catch though is that I missed one on the 4 day of the first week of my pack I took it as directed it said no need for backup contraception. Then exactly 7 days later I missed another pill.
Never missed a pill. I have never taken a pill more than 30 minutes late. I had sex 2 weeks ago (November 17th.) The sex was protected, and the condom had spermocide. BUT he did put the condom on upside down, realized it was not right and then flipped it over and unrolled it. I began spotting light brown blood on the 25th of November and it continued into the weekend and got gradually darker. This past Sunday (29th) was my first placebo pill.

I have never missed a pill but I did take my pill a little bit earlier than normal that afternoon. I sometimes take my pills a earlier than 1 ( which is my time to take the pill) but never late. Could I be pregnant?
The doctor put me on birth control (sprintec), where I skip the placebo week so that I don't have a period. I missed 1 pill in late April and bled for 2 weeks. That is the only pill that I missed. The past 2 months I've been getting the same symptoms that I had before they found my cyst, except this time I don't have a period. Symptoms are cramping 2 weeks before what would be my period, pain with bowel movement, frequent urination, very painful sex, and dark discharge.
also, i have NEVER missed a pill and take it within the same 1-2 hours everyday (if not the same exact time everyday). i called my doctor and she said if bleeding continues to let her know and she will give me a stronger pill. she did not have any concern about pregnancy, but i am still freaking out. please someone give some advice!! thanks!
