My next cycle was regular 28days. One day 1 of my period I started tri-sprintec, but discontinued it after 3 pills. This month my period is now going on 5 days late and 2 pregnancy tests have been negative. Is this normal? I did have unprotected sex during this month, but my husband did not ejaculate inside of me. Please help...
Yes if you are not taking your birth control pills right your chances of getting pregnant are increased. Are you late for your period or is it due soon? If you started spotting and you are not due just yet it could be from not having the pill for a few days. I would wait until you are late for your period and then take a test.
I am concerned about my late period. I have been on Tri-Sprintec for quite a few months now. I'm currently on my last week taking the inactive white pills. So far I took about 4 of these pills and haven't gotten my period yet. Last month, I was under a lot of stress and I got it twice in that month. Other than that month, my period seemed to come on time with the pills.
I am concerned about this. When would I need to take a pregnancy test and how long should I wait to see a gyny?
Today im supposed to take my second plabebo pill and i still didnt get my period..Am i being paraniod, or is my period just two days late because im new on birthcontrol...? I got on sprintec birth control in september and was taking them for 3months. My period came september 25th, october 23rd and november 20th. Before i took birth control i had iregular periods and once i got on the pills they were 28days, besides november because im still waiting for it to come in 2weeks if it happens. But im not on birth control for november and so on. My periods are 5-6 days long. So for november i got off on the 24th and had sex 24, 26, 27, 28, 30, 1, 2.
Hello, if a person takes their birth control (Tri Sprintec) every night at 9pm, but forgets to take it at 9pm one night and has sex from 930pm to 1030pm, and then remembers to take it again at 12 midnight (3 hours late),
is there a chance for pregnancy?

Hi I am on sprintec birth control pill and I have been for almost 10 months now. I've never missed a pill and I've always taken it on time, maybe a half hour to an hour late here and there but that doesn't happen very often. I have not missed a day, but have taken it a few hours late many days. My bf and I have sex often. My last period began on July 21. t keep my skin under control without being on the pill, so I saw my gyn and she suggested I might feel better if I have a steady dose of hormones instead of the varying levels Tri Sprintec provided. She prescribed Sprintec, which I will be starting next week.

On Thursday night I forgot to take my birth control, I took it when i woke up Friday morning and then took my next pill that same day right on time. m 18 years old and I started taking tri sprintec birth control at the beginning of September and my period started in the second week of the pack. Its been 2 and half weeks and my period still won't stop and it keeps getting heavier and heavier and I've never had this problem. I called my gyno and they said to wait about 3 months and see what happens, but I don't think I can wait that long my period and cramps are killing me and I'm really moody lately.
I've been taking Sprintec for years. Never got my period the first time round due to my hormones adjusting. You were two weeks in so you are covered, shouldn't be pregnant. You should have your period by that fourth placebo the next time round. Continue taking it like you are and you'll be fine. Try not to stress yourself out, it makes everything worse.
So i'm 16 and i've been on tri sprintec for 2 years now. I just became sexually active 5 months ago with the same person, we're both clear of STD's. 6 days ago on saturday, we had sex in the shower and it kind of hurt because there was no lubrication. No bleeding that day and then on sunday he fingered me and it kind of hurt. On sunday night i wiped and there was bright red blood and then it's been dark brown/dark red blood since then. It's been about 6 days now.
When we had sex I was on my period but I believe it was the last day. I started on may 25th and I ended today may 30th he ejaculated in me on the 29th... my periods are every 28 days...
