t keep my skin under control without being on the pill, so I saw my gyn and she suggested I might feel better if I have a steady dose of hormones instead of the varying levels Tri Sprintec provided. She prescribed Sprintec, which I will be starting next week.
Could you help me understand the difference of how these two similar pills work? I know they are the same hormones, but how much do the levels differ?
which was about 3 months ago I started taking Tri-Sprintec birth-control and I had an AWFUL reaction to it and turns out I was allergic to the high dosage of the acne-clearer in it. Last month I switched to YAZ. But, when I first started with the Tri- Sprintec I noticed these bumps which looked a bit like herpes but I don't know for sure in my mouth near my uvula and they are spreading in the back of my mouth. My stomach and abdomen have been acting up and I dont know what is wrong.

I just started using the birth control Sprintec a week ago. I had a stroke on Monday. I cannot walk well, but other than that I have recovered quickly. I will be 20 on Saturday. I am only 19. I want to know how many others are out there who have taken sprintec and either had a TIA or a stroke due the birth control...is there anyone else?

I was taking BC sprintec (3 month doses) at the time in which my BC stopped working...aka I was having a period every month instead of every three months and it was happening while on active pills.
After my period, I got intense vulva irritation, felt like a stabbing knife that would come and go throughout the day. Redness and swelling of vulva. No lesions. No blisters. No fever. No tingles.
I got tested for everything under the sun with the only hit was on my HSV IGM coming up...

Hello, if a person takes their birth control (Tri Sprintec) every night at 9pm, but forgets to take it at 9pm one night and has sex from 930pm to 1030pm, and then remembers to take it again at 12 midnight (3 hours late),

I was on Ortho Tri for nine years, no problems. After switching to sprintec, the pills no longer worked. I was having periods while on the active pills and my vulva became dry and irritated (like a knife stabbing it). I can't get the pain to go away. Anyone else with this problem?
Yesterday my dermatologist prescribed me 25mg Spironolactone 2xD and Tri-Sprintec BCP to help clear my skin up. I trust her judgement with placing me on both of those medications, but what worries me is that it may be too much of a hormone change for my body. I know that birth control pills increase estrogen levels in the body and that spironolactone is an antiandrogen drug, and naturally the body will replace androgens with estrogen.
I just started taking this bc Tri-sprintec and im on day 3 I woke up and i seem to be extremely tiered. Is this caused by the bc? I have no energy to do anything.
I am thinking about stopping with mine since I have been taking it for 7 years straight (Sprintec) and now I am not able to obtain anymore pills because I am out of the country.

First time user bc. In may I started bc (sprintec) always on time. Had intercourse 2 and half weeks later. He didnt ejaculate inside me at all. It only lasted a minute. Im now on day four of placebo pills and i still havent gotten my.period and im freaking out. I was a virgin when i had intercourse, and its my first time.taking birth control..any advice..? For about three months I've had these red rings on my upper thigh. They are just an outline of a perfect circle and aren't raised, indented, or itch. I've been taking Celexa and sprintec for 7 months, but the rings started months after I began taking the medicine. They sometimes form on top of each other, or don't form complete circles too.
I've been on sprintec for 4 months and for the first 3 had no period. But now I've had my period for 3 weeks it slowed down for a day and I had sex. Then it came back. After two weeks I stopped with my pills and it has only gotten worse. I don't know what to do I'm weak and cranky all the time.

Sprintec? If you're on a birth control pill, you shouldn't be ovulating.
I've been on Sprintec birth control for 6 months and never had this problem till now.
I have always started my period 3 days after I started taking the white pill. Right now I'm on the last week of my blue pills and I've started cramping and spotting a little. I'm not sure if it's normal or not to start your period a week early while on birth control or not because it's never happened to me until now.
