Sporanox pulse dose

Common Questions and Answers about Sporanox pulse dose

sporanox

Avatar m tn No, and after the heavy duty Amiodarone. I have taken Propafenone at 225 mg three times a day and twice a day when I was in sinus following a couple of electrocardioversion. If you're following me, the cardioversions were not purminate...one time I was in sinus for about 18 months the other time for two years. As far as I know a dose of Propafenone once a day will not do much, as the medication will "wear off" quickly. That's why I've taken as much as every 8 hours.
Avatar f tn I would not take lamisil ever again. It is notoriously hard on your liver. Sporanox is really bad for the liver also.
Avatar f tn Im taking a 5 day course of high dose steroids for my relapse. I get the dose in the morning and notice my pulse rate slowly rises during the day . At rest it is 95 and I can hear my heart pounding while I am trying to sleep which makes me more anxious. My chest feels sore too. I keep generally very fit and healthy apart from RRMS and my heart rate is only this high normally when I am recovering from exercise. My BP is good thankfully.
Avatar f tn The preferred conventional oral treatment is Sporanox pulse therapy daily for a week followed by a three week rest, repeated for three months. A clipped nail sample should be sent for culture before treatment. Expect a 60% to 70% cure rate. It’s unsafe for people with heart disease, may damage the liver, and interacts with other drugs. So your doctor has to watch carefully! Consider tea tree oil, a safe natural over the counter remedy. It’s a powerful antibacterial and antifungal agent.
Avatar m tn Three to eight hours after morning dose of coreg my pulse remains within 70-75 bpm. After evening dose until morning I presume it should be below 70 bpm(though I have never measured).
Avatar n tn My problem was that I did not know if I had missed the dose or not. Nonetheless, I monitored my pulse and pressure thruout the day and took the med at my regularly scheduled time.the following morning. I appreciate your answer very much.
Avatar f tn In 2014 I had arrhythmia from low potassium (2.4). The ER was able to convert it and have not had another episode since that time. The ER recommended I start seeing a cardiologist. At the time I was on 10 mg of enalapril twice a day. My pulse was high (90) and the doc recommended starting a low dose of Metoprolol (12-1/2 mg twice a day). This brought my pulse down to mid 60's. I was also prescribed (in the ER) 10 meq of potassium twice a day I assume for the rest of my life.
Avatar n tn Consulting with my doctor, he told me to stop taking my Levothyroxine, had me take a TSH test (48 hours off the Levothyroxine) and then sent me to a cardiologist who gave me a clean bill of health. Just a fast pulse, no heart problems. In a few days my pulse returned to normal. I thought it was axiety and started taking Levothyroxine again. How soon after ceasing taking Levothyroxine would the level show in the blood stream? My TSH came back at 1.

Avatar n tn can a raised pulse rate and head noise be from the wrong dose of thyroid and therefore the wrong thyroxine level in the body.
Avatar m tn After a sleepless night, the nurse told me (by phone) that this was Atrial Tachycardia, that the slow pulse was not a total indication of what was going on with my heart.and to increase my dose of beta blocker from 12 to 25 mg. This made me extremely lightheaded so I went back to my prior dose. While I understand that this is probably a temporary side effect of the ablation and medication is this the case. I am taking Altace, Atenolol and Coumadin. Could this be Bradycardia?
Avatar n tn I will keep the walking schedule as much away from timing of betablocker/ACE-I dose and see if it helps in maintaining higher pulse without additional exertion? Of course I will also try to walk faster to maintain 100 bpm pulse. But I am not sure how it will impact EF? jrbon, Thanks for your comments. In my case due to low EF, emphesis was on keeping the pulse below 100-110. Subsequently they implanted an ICD (six months from MI). I was advised to walk not more than 30-40 minutes.
Avatar n tn These include topical antifungals like econazole (Spectazole) or oxiconazole (Oxistat) and oral antifungals like Itraconazole (Sporanox),Fluconazole (Diflucan) or Terbinafine (Lamisil) Triamcolone acetonide is a more potent type of triamcinolone, being about 8 times as effective as prednisone. It should not be used to treat fungal infections without consulting a dermatologist. Hope it helps.Take care and pls do keep me posted on how you are doing.Kind regards.
Avatar n tn I was wondering what would be the best fungal medication for him to take terbinafine or fluconazole I read on the internet that sporanox is not recommended. What do you think I should tell the doctor to prescribe for a two and a half year old that would be safe. This discussion is related to Fingernail fungus.
Avatar m tn Take amidiarone for arrythmia - take half the recommended dose to avoid some side effects, ie., lower pulse rate. rarely have Arrythmia now. Take one Cozaar 50mgs daily. BP recently about 165/85. Pulse rate 37 this morning prior to medication. Usually Pulse is 39/42. Has been for years. Athlete when young may explain low pulse to some extent. Clearly, BP 165/85 too high still. Plan to take a herbal treatment claimed to cure Atrial Fibrillatiion. That high BP, suggestions please?
Avatar f tn Dose anyone else get this strange senstasion in the temples its like a tingling feeling but dose not hurt, no headache, blood pressure nornal but one pulse on the left temple feels stronger than the other side.
Avatar f tn t deal with that dose so I went to another Endo who gave me 50mcg but I just started taking the new dose today.
Avatar m tn Later last night I found my blood pressure was 135 over 85 and my pulse was 55. This morning about the same. Pulse in the 50s and blood pressure 135 over 85. I saw a site on metaprolol and they advised not taking it if the pulse is below 60. I think I have white coat anxiety. I am afraid of taking toprol because I commute 28 miles to and from work. I am afraid my dizzy spells will return and that I will be too tired.
798555 tn?1292787551 Wow! I am not alone. Just when things where getting better sleep wise, this starts up. My pulse is good 68-72. High pulse and heart palps were present when I switched to Armour 3 months ago on the FULL dose from the get go (bad). Started Armour all over two months ago in step increments and now near proper dose. Heart palps are very slight , pulse way better, but now 'ear beats'. So this may be the not so good side affect of the excess T3 in Armour.
Avatar n tn I began 20mgs of Adderall XR/daily a couple weeks ago. I have had several smaller side effects since the beginning including: appetite suppression, changes in sexual ability/desire and slightly increased heartrate (i'm a runner so my heartrate is about 80bpm resting, but 30 - 40 bpm faster than normal) additionally, I sweat more while on adderall. Very recently, I noticed a weird sporadic feeling in my body.
535882 tn?1396576685 You describe a strong heart beat and pulse. Is your pulse fast? Or Is the rate normal, but feels hard - heart palps. What exactly is your resting pulse beats / min? Some people have palps when building up the dose to fast. I sometimes still have very slight palps after switching to Armour 5 months ago. Seems like more people were getting palps after the Armour re-formulation. I am now taking a different brand dessicated med (3 weeks so far), so I will see if the palps go away.
Avatar f tn 00am) BP was 118/55 Pulse 53. Like I say I don't feel bad at all. Also, per my cardio, an Echo done a year ago was fine and an EKG on 8/1/13 was normal. I'll post again after I see what I found out today.
