All of a sudden out of no where I had a splitting headache, and I mean splitting! It felt as though my head were about to split in two right down the center of my face. I began to overheat and my face and head were very hot to the touch. I was in so much pain I thought I was about to vomit. Luckily, I was a block away from my office when this occured and I quickly parked and leaned over in my seat to try to assess my apin enough to get out of the car.
I realize this may sound strange but I was wondering if any of you have a "pill cutter" at home or do you just cut your pill in half with a knife? I am cutting down on the dose of my beta blocker per my Doctor and I was wondering if I have to purchase a pill cutter or can I just cut it with a knife or razor? I am a little anxious because you aren't supposed to "crush or chew" these pills and I'm afraid that if I cut it.......perhaps it will be crumbly.
I am considering switching from Levitra to Cialis. Have read that Cialis has a longer half life (up to 36 hrs vs. 5-7 hrs.). Anyway, I have tried extending Levitra's half-life by taking a second dosage a few hours later, but no matter what, the max effects still really fade off 5-7 hours after the initial dosage. Wondering if anyone knows why this might be... and why a second dose would not extend the effects? Just helps with planning.
If you're worried about side effects, I'd start with half, or even a quarter, of a pill because Cialis lasts so long. That is, if it turns your face red, it may stay that way for 24 hours, versus just a few hours for Viagra. You can always take more later, but you can't undo what you've taken!
I read some place that men with small penises (my penis has 13 cm when engorged ) need to take smaller doses of Cialis ( or Viagra ) because, if they don't, they can have anorgarmia ( the penis has erections but you can't ejaculate ). Is that true ?

Finally, the PF people at Pfizer told me that while the firm recommends that the Lipitor pills NOT be broken in half or cut in half, they do say that it is perfectly okay to do this under doctor's prescription or recommendation, and that there is no negative downside at all to cutting Lippy in half. However, they do recommend not breaking them if no need to. So there. Case solved. Happy camper I am.
He even shared with me that he took Cialis and it helped him a lot. SHould I just try one? I thought about cutting a 5mg pill in half but it says on the bottle do not do that. I really want to have sex again. Will the cialis make the heart race? I don't take nitrates or anything, just Metoprolol to keep my pulse under control day to day. I',m slim and not overweight.

I was once given a 20mg Cialis pill by a friend and broke it in half. So I took around 10mg dosage. I cannot afford Cialis through my insurance so I was going to try the free sample voucher on their website. They have 2 different options. the every day dosage of 5mg or the 20mg dosage for one time use. I don't have an all the time problem, so I would be taking it on occasion. The thing is you only get 3 pills of one time use and 30 5mg pills. Are they the exact same thing?
I'm 33, slim, in decent health, not overweight at all, for about the past year or so, I've been experiencing some erectile dysfunction. Not entirely, but basically what happens is I can get an erection if I'm turned on or if it's been a while since I last ejaculated, but I have trouble maintaining the erection during sex. I notice that it might start out fine but then about half way in I'll get somewhat soft or even totally soft then get hard, and back again.

If i watch porn (i dont do this often) i will quite often get an erection, and if i havent been taking any ED drugs i still get morning erections about half the time... yet when it comes to having sex with my partner i now need cialis to have any hope of being hard at all...and this is driving me insane.

this coming from someone that has a very high pain tolerance. The pain in mostly in my pubic and tail bone but involves my hips lower back and groin area. Walking is the worst of all. I have a desk job and I dread having to get up for anything. Trying to stand up or sit back down hurts like hell too. If I sit too long the pain in my hips and pubic bone become unbearable but if I want the pain in my pubic and tail hit me so hard it almost brings me to my knees.

If you can get an erection without problems while making out or masturbating, you don't need Cialis. The problem is psychological, not pysical. The three biggest factors that inhibit erections are anxiety, guilt, and fear. If you try focusing more on her and the sensations and less on your erection (like when you're making out), then it'll probably work fine.
I have since found out it is not a good idea to split a Somac tablet. I'm still interested to hear from anyone who has an opinion about whether a 20mg tab twice a day is any better than a 40mg once a day.
I was searching to see if there might be any interaction between the medications and Cialis and in doing so found that sudden hearing loss is a potential rare side effect to Cialis and similar medications. By this time it has been more than two weeks since the onset of the hearing loss and I cannot remember precisely but I believe that I may have last taken one Cialis tablet within 24 hours before the earache hearing problem.
