Probably yes, but as the above says, we're all different. You're problem is it's going to be hard to do much of a taper anyway off that low of a dose, the best your doc will offer is probably to start taking it every other day, but perhaps you can split the dose. I didn't even know they had a 5mg. But it's a very low dose and it hasn't even started to work yet, though the side effects start right away, so I don't think your brain is used to it.
When is your follow-up visit? You should definitely mention this to the cardio and it may just be a matter of adjusting the settings on your pacemaker. Do you have any signs of infection like fever, redness at the incision site, short of breath? If you do, then go in as soon as you can.

I am sorry for my sister. She is suffering from pit gland tumor and had not receive any medication yet. She is 46 years old, single and a teacher who have a great passion and love for children. I don't know how to help her but grateful to have this chance to tell other people how we loved her. Did the doctors say if his heart is working as it should after the surgery? Has he had a CT scan of his brain? Is his liver okay and intestines? Sometimes what happens is the patient goes into cardic shock after surgery. This is where the heart is not pumping as it should and the organs start to shut down. Cardiac shock needs to be treated agressively at first. Is he cold to the touch?
