Why don't you ask for his recommendation of what medication he thinks might help you.. and then you take it. Medication totally brought me back from the brink of suicide. Also what about some therapy? Don't just give up. That's the depression having its way. You deserve so much better. Getting older is the greatest challenge of all as the people you love die and you have increasing disabilities of your own. But still, life can be so much better. Please don't give up.
I was really hoping for a suggestion as to why I may have developed an indentation in the top of my head. At first I thought I was crazy, and that it was impossible for that to happen, but over the last few months it seems to have grown and now anyone who feels the top of my head can easily feel it.
I am David aged 55 and employed as a postman/driver/sorter, well up until 38 months ago I had never been into hospital, well boy was that about to change.
For coordinated rehabilitation program a team of a neurologist, a physiotherapist, an occupational therapist and a speech-language pathologist, a nutritionist work together to help you in your recovery. Therefore, I would suggest following the suggestion made by them and recovery will be although slow but most of the functions may be restored. In addition, it is essential to know that risk of stroke recurrence may be reduced such as by quitting smoking and controlling blood pressure.
It can affect speech as well in all three of the key areas, expressive language (being able to think of what to say), receptive language (making sense of questions asked or someone talking to them) and articulation (actually speaking and being understood).
No otherwise qualified individual with a disability in the United States, as defined in section 706(8) of this title, shall, solely by reason of her or his disability, be excluded from the participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance...." [29 U.S.C. §794(a), 34 C.F.R. §104.4(a)]. Who is covered by Section 504?
He doesn't seem to have any other allergies, however on Sunday night, after staying at Granny's place for the weekend, he broke out in a nasty case of hives. We have sent a letter of referral to the Childhood Development unit of the hospital yesterday through the doctor. Diva2317 - he really only has 2 symptoms of ASD. I have read through all of these thoroughly.
Many people don't demand the quality care they should get, or accept whatever is thrown at them. You wouldn't accept a new car w a door missing. Don't accept crappy med care. End of speech. :-)Please consider a drug for depression, even if it's only for pain perception. The brain can't get the messages about pain so well. Works for fibromyalgia, specifically in my case, amitriptyline, an ancient cheap drug. Really, I will shut up now.
When their medical records finally arrived, I saw a steady pattern of aggression and sleep disorder with both of them through out their childhoods. But like I said, when the doctors and therapist refused to put the 4yr old back on his meds. I was furious. The only thing he told me to do, give them benedryl at night so they at least sleep. Give me a break!! I looked online for an herbal sleep aid as I wasn't keen on the whole over the counter med. everynight.
If the water goes immediately down your throat, say the word “Go”. Notice how your throat closes off at the beginning of the letter G. That is how you close off your throat when you are filling your nostrils. After you have filled both of your nostrils, pinch them shut. Set down the squeeze bottle. Then, very slowly bend forward, at the waist, until you can look between your legs at the crotch.
He has since lost balance, coordination, speech structure and had illness like symptoms (ie flu) All of these symptoms seem exacerbated by the bloody Rebif jabs he takes 3x a week. I have an appt for him scheduled for 10 June and I feel we will get another dx....Until then does anyone know what damage this Rebif shot could be doing to someone w/o MS? He's being encouraged to continue and "drink lots of water" but this is of course by the bloody mfgr of the drug itself.....
unless it was only for a short time after you experienced a traumatic event. Trauma... like combat, wife cheating, divorce, death of a parent or child, watching a W speech about the economy,,ETC. SSRIs would probably make the insomnia worse. Remeron is great but you do get VERY vivid dreams allthough mine were generally happy VERY weird ones.. Nyquil is of course alcohol with a couple other things in it. You may as well just down the med cocktail with a double shot of bourbon.
All of this has been lumped in with fibromyalgia by my doctors and rheumatologists over the years. But, lately my doctor (and physical therapist) have opined that some of this stuff doesn't seem like fibro (and I think they're correct). This sounds like MS, right? It's by far the closest thing I've found. The only thing I don't think is a good fit for MS is that I like being warm. I hate the cold.
I immediately went back to the surgeon who is completely at a loss of what to do. His only recommendation is to do more surgery and remove more of the hyoid bone. However, the more they take out the greater the risk of swallowing issues post-surgery. I'm not sure I'm ready to sign up for that again just yet. Since the 1/23 incident, it has happened 3 more times with the last time being only 2 weeks from the previous episode. I'm worried that this is going to continue to get worse again.
To back up a bit, I was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism at the age of 22 and then figured out the cause of the hypothyroidism was Hashimoto Thyroiditis at the age of 28. Well, over the years nodules were found on both sides of my gland and were monitored. About 6 months ago during my annual exam they noticed my gland was extremely enlarged and my nodules were abnormally large. Well, we ran all the tests and did a needle biopsy. The report came back as suspicious.
Magda will be packin' heat soon as her ammo is checked and retrieved. Mary's loaded for bear under the watchful eye of General Menapaur (A tough cookie for sure) and Captain Follistim, who's trained many of us with much success. She'll start target practise any day now. Helen's loadin' up with Lupron, (same ammo Mary will use) so BFN you haven't got a prayer. Fiona goes in for special forces training with a new unit and she'll be armed and dangerous for sure.
5) Lack of appetite 6) Lack of sex drive/sexual functioning. 7) Production of small amount of breast milk. Please try to help me find some info that might improve the doc's visit. My doc is not very good and bases all choices on lab results only.
Almost like mucus drainage or something. I have been able to pull some of it up out of my throat and spit it out but it's clear with no color or spots or anything. No relief comes from that. Sometimes I can make it go away for a couple of minutes if I brush the back of my tongue. I took some Ztus expectorant last night hoping it would release it but no luck. Does anybody else have this problem and what can I do about it? I'm going to schedule an ENT appt. next week.
My suggestion on how to sleep....is already known! Ok, I don't want to transform all of you in a bunch of drug addicted, but have you tried a tranquillizer just once? Just to see whether your tingling diminishes the moment you calm down? @rnneeedshelp: as my "colleague" has written, you are anxious over the symptoms, not the opposite, and the same is for all of us.
i just experienced the same thing seconds ago and out of desperete need of an explanation i googled this.. im actually doing my project for school right now that is due tommorow and ive been sitting in front of my computer for several hours of silence. out of no where, my mind kind of wandered and my ears focused on the smallest noises. typing keys are like banging, and the sound coming from my computer booms. everything is magnifyed in perspective, and ringing within my head.
I found this site thru the help of my daughter. She's an x-ray tech/massage therapist. I have just had my thryoidectomy a week ago. My thyroid was in disgusting shape apparently, per the surgeon, due to Hashimoto's thyroidits. I had a nodule that was cancerous though not as bad as the Dr expected. He did, however, remove a lot of lymph nodes. That made me nervous, but they all came back as reactive to the Hashi's and not cancerous.
there are also studies showing that over 150mgs. and in a few cases less than 100mgs. a day could cause neuropathy. one neuro i saw thought i was in the safe zone, but i'm not so sure. the suspected reason for the toxicity, is that your liver is overwhelmed and cannot add a *phosphate* molecule to the pyridoxine, thereby producing the active pyridoxine 5 phosphate. instead, you have pure pyridoxine floating around and it's toxic.
My fiance has been suffering with eustation tube dysfunction for a little over 6mths. now. We have tried numerous decongestants and nasal sprays as well as a round of steroids. His ENT did allergy testing on him, however, he did not have any significant allergies. Our last resort was to have PE tubes placed. This only made his symptoms worse and they took them out after a couple of weeks. Suprisingly after they took the tubes out and his ears were healing, he was symptom free.
They both were looking for revisions, so 3 for 3 needing a repair job. But what I meant to say at the top of this letter was Ive asked for my complete file 3x already, twice in writing. Unfortunately I never made copies or had any with me, and both the doctor and his secretary have lied to me sooooo many times, I think I need to go in there, make it evident I have two copies, bring in a witness and have them sign my copy.
I just started taking Yaz and have noticed a 10 lb weight gain in 3 weeks time. I know that some of this could be from Thanksgiving, but not all of it because I haven't eaten any more than usual. I don't eat much at all, so I'm thinking most of it is the Yaz. I was previously on Yasmin and was able to lose 45 lbs while on it. I don't think it will do this to everyone, but this is just my experience with it so far. I think I'm gonna go back to the doc and switch back to Yasmin. Good luck!
Now I am 100% convinced that soon I should take the path of a vegeterian or even vegan.

4. After a minute of sweating I suddenly feel something coming out of my rear end. I try to squeeze it out and only a hard stool comes out. 5. The sweating stops and the stomach cramp subsides. I think everything is over and I clean up. I walk out of the toilet and in about 2 minutes time the stomach cramp and the fainting sensation comes back (I've fainted only once to date from this and was out for about 15-20 minutes). 6.
I've been taking 500 mg/day of metformin. Just wondering if any of you have taken this, and if so, have you experienced any weight loss?
