On the same day evening i got some small bumps on my tip of the tongue . On the next day i got white tongue with fever of 99degree .I went to general doctor and got treatment . I was prescribed some medicine and mouth wash for 1 week. My fever was there for 4days with same 99degree on my undergoing treatment.My tongue also didnt get better . After closely to 2 weeks my white tongue increased .I have sore throat from day 15 to till date.After three weeks i went to STD SPECIALIST .

The red bumps may or may not be related to your chest pain and sore throat. I would monitor the red bumps and see if they stay or go after your chest pain and sore throat heal. If they're still there, then i would recommend a biopsy of the area.

My tongue at the back has the c papillae but it looks like an ulceration over them - not all white but a flat pink coloured bump with like whitish lines across it. Both sides of tongue bumps are symmetrical. The bumps at very back of tongue almost going down throat have ballooned in size. It isn't uncomfortable to eat or swallow yet. However, over three weeks later, I still have the sore throat and can now see white-ish bumps in the back of my throat. They're difficult to see because they're located along the sides of my pharynx and the lower back part of my tongue, but they're white bumps with red borders, most often in clusters. I also have some on the back sides of my tongue, one cluster on each side, right where the tongue meets the back molars.

it is now 38 days since i had sex last time, i have little sore in my throat and today i noticed small bumps deep on my tongue almost near to my throat, some how it looks symmetric bumps, also i feel like there is white sticky liquid on my tongue unless i drink something , it started to bother me and i keep checking it in the mirror, i have tested HIV Antibody two times now , one after 17 days and one after 34 days and both are negative and my CRP was 3 which is in the normal range.

This is so overwhemingly common - yet no doctor will put this puzzle together - at least in my luck. After digging for 5 years - I strongly believe this is a side effect of thyroid medications. I lean towards this bieng an imbalance on PH levels within the body with some individuals. HAve you had any discomfort within the tongue itself? Burning - swolleness of anything you can describe? Do you notice dry throat and thirst? Did you undergo RAI treatment after the TT?

Hi...I really appreciate all the work that you do on this forum as it's very helpful. I've now had a sore throat for 3 months post my possible exposure. I also have ongoing stomach pains in my gut (cramping) and red bumps that don't go away on my stomach. I started the sore throat about 2 weeks after exposure and it has not gone away and the stomach issues have kept coming. I've had a colonoscopy and an endoscopy and blood work, all ok...no issues.

now i have bumps on my tongue, they are the same color as my tongue, a pinkish color. This morning i woke up to find a white spot on my bottom inner lip and upper. I had only a little bit of white coating early in tx, but have always gotten a very sore tongue, with horribly painful bumps, from the interferon/ribavirin aspect of tx. Try to drink even more water, and carry water with you at all times. My dentist advised using Biotene mouthwash and it helps a LOT. In some stores they also carry Biotene chewing gum, which is great to have with you when you are away from home (but be sure to carry your water bottle too). Good luck!

Another problem I was experiencing at the time and am still experiencing is white bumps underneath my tongue, along my lingual frenulum, and at the very back of my tongue as well. They are quite prominent to anyone who looks in my mouth, and unusual. Hello, I had two encounters within last 2 weeks. First one with girl I know little. Intercourse lasted about 40 minutes. We had safe sex. I did oral on her for brief second and realized it's not worth and retrieved from that act she did oral on me with condom on.
