Had a 32 day HIV finger test today result negative. My exposure was unprotected oral (receiving). How reliable is that test after 32 days? I know no-one has ever been documented catching it from that but I am testing to 12 weeks whatever anyone says. Also can you catch Syphilis from kissing? two weeks ago i had causal oral sex with a man it only lasted a few seconds but 4 days latter i developed a fever and headache, the day latter i developed a sore throat and had pain swallowing, this was controlled by paracetamol and ibuprofen. after 4 days it wasnt getting better and i had developed exudates on my tonsil, i also had developed a rash on my tongue red blood spots down the side of my tongue that fits with step throat, i was given pen v by the doctor and with 36 hours i was better.

My tongue is also now real white. I am having a bit of sore throat now. I have also been having a dry cracked and charred lips that I am easily picking off. This once caused a sore on my lip. It healed after I applied a cream. The present charred lips has refused to heal even after I started applying a cream on Saturday Please could this be HIV.

In regards to the flat spots on your tongue and the red burning sensation you've had on it as well, you might look into the possibilty of that being glossitis. I myself have a form of glossitis called 'geographic tongue' which is where red flat patches appear on the tongue then go away. It's caused by stress and is a harmless condition. Sometimes certain foods can trigger it as well.

4 hours later I had a white tongue so I went into panic and got tested for everything at 10 days negative. Since which even with medication I still have a white tongue that has a thick yellow coloured mass at the back amid raised bumps which I have to scrap off every day.
