288415 tn?1231634102 But for the past year or two I've had EXTREMELY itchy EARS. Both of my inner EARS get these irresistible itches. I use qtips all the time AND I know that's so horrible but they're the only things that help me relieve the itches.I wake up in the middle of the night with the most crazy itches AND it drives me insane! I hate being in public AND getting ear itches because there's nothing I can do. I usually just close my ear & wait for it to go away but that's hard.
Avatar n tn who obviously had no clue what it was. I had an extremely painful AND stuffed NOSE, AND a sore THROAT. NOSE spray didn't help. I gritted my teeth AND sprayed "Ayer" in the NOSE tried triple antibiotic skin ointment with added pain med in it. Vasalene didn't help. I did have small NOSEbleeds with scabs here AND there in my NOSE. Inside the tip of my NOSE was the worst. I took Ultram, Sudaphed, Tylenol PM, AND tons of water. I used a nasal emolient. I was told not to use Flonaise.
Avatar n tn Hi, I am back, went to the ent, said there was nothing significant in my EARS AND NOSE. So a hearing test is ordered to determine if he eustatian tube is damaged. I came across a great informative website called houseclinic it focuses on EARS AND ear disorders. There are so many causes for ear problems, I didn't realize, but, in most cases, the tinnitis, itching,"wet" feeling is an allergic response that sometimes does require surgery.
Avatar f tn i have trouble eating certain foods,(greasy, spicy,) AND certain foods give me an itchy THROAT, such as oatmeal, AND bannanas. AND mushy foods such as beans AND mashed potatoes feel like they get stuck in my THROAT. i almost always wake up with a sore THROAT AND a bitter taste in the back of my mouth. i have a lot of post nasal drip that chokes me sometimes,AND a constant stuffy NOSE. i get nausea a lot too AND very bad stomach cramps, because of all the mucus im swallowing.
Avatar n tn Hey, I had my hair done at the hairdressers the other day & had a full head colour, I wanted it lighter than what I currently had it. It was fine when the hairdresser was putting the dye on, it tingled abit but soon dissapeared after a few minutes. Then everything was fine. But since yesterday I've developed a very sore THROAT & have got flu like symptoms. I feel dreadful in general really...
Avatar dr m tn If you are a chronic mouth breather because of a stuffy NOSE, you're not alone. Do you feel like you can never get enough oxygen into your lungs? Do you feel tired all day no matter how much sleep you get? Have you tried various home remedies, over-the-counter medications or even prescription medications with no help? If you answered yes to any of the above, what you will read below will show you how critical it is to breathe well through your NOSE.
Avatar m tn It began in 1976 AND re occurs every 5 to 6 yEARS. I get a sore THROAT (not tonsils but when you swallow) I now go straight on antibiotics AND use Bricanyl inhaler although it doesnt seem to have much effect except to cause alot of mucus coughed up from the lungs. It causes me to have spasm coughing AND if I cannot control this to 3 or 4 coughs my windpipe closes over making it hard to breath in or out.
9677729 tn?1411050970 I just went to the doctors bc i was having symptoms like allergies (stuffy or runny NOSE, itchy EARS AND THROAT) then I woke up with a sore THROAT AND a bad cough AND had very bad headaches AND pressure in my sinus area. Then later on my sinuses started to burn so bad I would cry. Come to find out I was fighting a sinus infection.
Avatar n tn I used that when I had a cold AND my NOSE was stuffy. About two days after using it my eyes turned red AND my eyebrows started itching AND flaking. I'm also allergic to the antibacterial found in most liquid antibacterial hAND soaps called Tricolsan.
Avatar n tn I used to only hear/feel it when I was rotating vigorously (like when doing aerobic workout), but now I hear/feel it whenever I'm simply doing daily activities AND happen to turn or twist at the waist. Any thoughts on what this may be, or the cause? I have no sore THROAT or hoarseness or any other THROAT/esophagus symptoms. I do have very occasional heartburn that responds easily to Zantac. Thank you very much.
Avatar dr m tn This is also why the EARS are usually affected before the sinuses—it’s a direct line from your THROAT to the eustachian tubes, whereas you have to take right angled turn to reach the sinus passageways in the NOSE. You may now be asking, "but what about the fever AND the chills?" Any sudden, or abrupt change in your sleep-breathing status can cause an autonomic nervous system imbalance that can bring about these same fevers, hot flashes, chills AND sweating.
Avatar m tn I've never had a runny or stuffy NOSE, itchy or watery eyes, etc. (One week ago) My doctor checked my THROAT, glANDs, EARS, breathing, AND said nothing look bad. He assumed it's allergies. I've never really had allergies before AND after reading about allergies my condition seems much more severe. The cough is too intense AND my fatigue varies but is very prevalent. If you have any idea what I should do or what you think it might be, that'd be amazing! Just any help I can get would be great.
Avatar n tn Our son got pneumonia last Sunday AND I went to the doctor with a sore THROAT last Wednesday AND she said I was negative for strep but that my THROAT looks horrible so she gave me Augmentin. I've been on it for 5 days AND my THROAT feels a bit better, but other symptoms have been getting worse AND continue to get worse.
Avatar f tn 2. Day 7 - got worse Sore THROAT possibly due drinking AND smoking 3. Day 8-14 improved considerably 4. Day 17 - sore THROAT went bad with swollen lymphs in the THROAT AND neck visited urgent care. I told about my exposure. Doc said no risk asked me to get tested for all the bacterial AND viral infection including STDs 5.
Avatar f tn By Friday AND Saturday I had started coughing along with a raspy voice AND itchy EARS. Took allergy medicine AND it seemed to help out. However the cough is bad at night. I have also had right jaw pain (not sure if this is from stress or TMJ) . I do not have a runny/stuffy NOSE, fever, headache, body aches, etc. Could this just be post nasal drip?
Avatar n tn Right in the beginning!
Avatar f tn Right now, I have swelling left eye only, with a fluid pouch underneath, very, very, itchy EARS, stuffy NOSE, sore/scratchy THROAT, AND headaches. Could this be allergies to something? I don't have a fever. I have never been diagNOSEd with an allergy of any kind. I have been given nasal spray in the past for feeling of swelling in back of THROAT,which I also have now. I have never been able to take an allergy or cold medicines because of my thyroid problem.
Avatar m tn She gave me oral recently like my last gf AND soon began having stuffy NOSE, itchy dry THROAT, pain in EARS AND crust in eyes. My question is what std other than chlamydia AND gonnerhea can cause such things??? Can Trichominasis cause this? Is there bacteria/fungi that can live on your penis that aren't list sti's? If so how can they be detected???
Avatar m tn 27, 9st, 2 kids one is 6 months old, Female, Smoker Dec 3rd 11 woke up AND felt like I had been punched in the NOSE...sore to touch thought maybe Sinus head cold, unsure- thick clear mucas from NOSE which ran down THROAT causing bad cough...lightheaded AND fatigue...was given Amoxicillin AND a nasal spray...can't remember the name. 671392 tn?1308774626 It is caused by the rubella virus, which is usually transmitted by droplets from the NOSE or THROAT that others breathe in. Rubella infection may begin with 1 or 2 days of mild fever AND swollen, tender lymph nodes, usually in the back of the neck or behind the EARS. A rash then appEARS that begins on the face AND spreads downward. As it spreads down the body, it usually clEARS on the face. The rubella rash can look like many other viral rashes.
Avatar m tn It all started as really bad allergies in early august, these were the worst allergy symptoms I've ever had. Itchy AND red eyes, sore THROAT, stuffy AND runny NOSE. But eventually the symptoms subsided AND I felt fine. But I'm sure that the allergies gave me a sinus infection. A couple weeks after those bad allergies, the new symptoms started. It all started when I was sitting down AND I got up too fast AND the blood rushes out of your head. I think we've all had those happen.
Avatar n tn About three days later I came down with a cold, the usual, sneezing, stuffy NOSE AND EARS, post nasal drip, sore THROAT AND productive cough. My roommate AND two other girls that I went to the party with all got sick as well. After about three weeks I was still sick, off AND on, especially in the morning (so was my roommate AND the other girls). I started getting a slight headache, I thought it was sinuses. AND one day I had a temp that never reached 101, but I had a pretty bad head ache.
Avatar n tn The rest of the day, I am left with runny (stuffy) NOSE, itchy EARS AND THROAT, AND a dry cough sometimes. I normally do not have a fever but I do experience shortness of breath. In fact, for the past 2-3 months, I have been experiencing mild shortness of breath quite often. Like I said, a few times, this has progressed into viral pnuemonia where I have been sick for weeks. Normally, however these symptoms tend to peter out after 5-10 days AND 6-12 months later, I do it all over again.
Avatar n tn I have been extremly stressed for the past couple of days (my potential exposure was 3 days ago). I have also had a sore THROAT AND cough with phlegm (AND sometimes without)-are these symptoms of the virus.
Avatar m tn just taped dressing under NOSE. stitches r itchy AND my NOSE is still sore to touch, these darn tubes gotta go. Friday morning woke up, dry mouth AND THROAT, from mouth breathing as my NOSE is blocked again. 4:00 am in bathroom doing nasal rinse to help me breathe.. the infected side, gave my mucus/blood mix..
Avatar f tn A few days later I began to experience a stuffy NOSE AND the illness has gradually progressed to ; - stuffy NOSE - clogged EARS - itchy THROAT here AND there - minor headaches accompanied by feelings of extreme "hotness" - clamminess This upcoming Monday will mark 3 weeks since the "exposure" which means my symptoms will have been around for about 2 weeks fluctuating on AND off (sometimes i feel better in the evening than in the day time).
Avatar f tn An allergic cause may manifest as eye itchiness, stuffy NOSE or frequent sneezing. Since medications seem to control your other conditions, i suggest you ask your physician regarding allergies as a possible cause of your headaches.
Avatar n tn no consistency what so ever. I had been having my typical itchy sore watery eyes AND stuffy runny NOSE for a while, I pretty much get it every season, AND just brush it off as slight never really caused any major problems. But that morning I had really started to notice the bridge of my NOSE tingling, into the area between my eyes...just kind of burning AND tingling, AND it was worse when I would sniffle AND draw everything that was coming out of my NOSE back in.
Avatar m tn IF YOU DO OTHERWISE, YOU CAN BLOW THE INFECTION INTO YOUR EARS OR THE PART OF YOUR NOSE WHERE YOUR SENSE OF SMELL IS. NEVER BLOW YOUR NOSE AS HARD AS YOU CAN. THIS CAN BLOW THE INFECTION INTO YOUR EARS OR THE PART OF YOUR NOSE WHERE YOUR SENSE OF SMELL IS. Blow very very very gently. Let the gravity do the work of removing the saline AND infected mucus. DO NOT TURN YOUR HEAD TO THE SIDE WHEN YOU HAVE SALINE SOLUTION IN YOUR NASAL PASSAGES.
