I would say put some salt in a cup of hot water and
gargle. tastes nasty but relieves
throat pain.
other thing is to put honey and fresh squeezed lemon into a cup of hot water and drink it.
make sure you drink lots of liquids to keep your throat moist and yourself hydrated.
if this continues for a few days, see your doctor as you may have strep.
