I am also 25 weeks pregnant and have a very bad cold watery eyes and no appetite:( Iv only been taking Tylenol I'm scared to use any spray!

Could it be allergies? The sore throat could be caused by post nasal drip and your sneezing and watery eyes sound more allergy related. I know that when I began trying to get pregnant my doctors advised me not to take my prescription anymore and any over the counter meds. I am pretty sure though that you can take something over the counter. Give your pharmacy a call... they will be able to tell you what you can take while pregnant.

I have had an extremely sore throat for 5 days. I went to the Dr yesterday and tested negative for mono and strep--however my monocites were elevated from my last blood test (done only 2 weeks before). My throat is red, with lines on it, and the right side seems more swollen than the left, however, over the last 24 hours it seems to have evened out, same pain on both sides, and it's excrutiating when I yawn or sneeze---I am not sneezing a lot...my nose is clear, no drainage.

I wound up with a sore throat last Sunday after waiting in the local emergency room 4 hours for a family member to get some stiches. The guy in the next bed on the other side of the curtain was suspected of having strep (those emergency room curtains are thin). Dear Doc, I was really sick for about a week w/ sore throat,runny nose, watery eyes,achy muscles. i went to the emergency room and they took a swab culture to test my throat for strep but everything came back normal. She said it was a virus. My sister and boyfriend got sick shortly after me. I didnt vomit or anything it was everything but. I also had an extreme headache i even took over the counter meds but didnt seem to help my headache really.
