First baby... Super excited! I'm getting a sore throat... normally I would call my doctor and go right in tomorrow... BUT, will he be able to do anything for me? What should/can I take? (By the way, I'm 9 weeks.
I'm 30wks 1 day and so far this pregnancy has been good to me...however this morning I've woken up feeling like I've swallowed a dozen razor blades in my sleep. My throat is so ridiculously sore has this happened to anyone else and what remedies may help to soothe it.
I am starting to get a small cold. So far its just burning eyes, I've been sneezing, my nose is runny & my throat is so sore. The sore throat pain is the worse. Since I cant call my Dr right now, what can i take for the soreness? I read that honey, lemon & water works but that sounds nasty right now & i dont want an upset stomach on of it. I read cough drops are ok but then that they are not. Any suggestions?
Ugh ive tried to avoid sick people as much as possible but Wednesday and Thursday I watched my finacees 7 year old nephew who was sick ( I didn't want to but had to watch him) and just woke up with the most awful sore throat and painful ears ! What can I do??? I'm the kind of person at the first sign of a cold to run to the store to get medicine but I can't that's why I've avoided people ! I'm 31 weeks and 1 day pregnant ...
Hi, well there's no medecine for sore throat, and especially for pregnant women, i had the same problem and it was very bad, just try to drink lemon with honey mixed together in a cup of warm water, it doesnt taste that good but it will help ease the pain, acan,lso gargle with salt and warm water as often as u can.
Next came a sore throat. No fever all week but constant nose and throat pain. I think a week ago I wiped a couple times and there was a mucus blood type thing but that has been it. I normally start the 2nd-7th of the month. I have been peeing so much (but I also drink a lot of water) I also get bad acne before a period and my face has been clearer than normal. I would just love some advice on if I should test in the next week or if this is just all coincidence.
If you think it's caused by heartburn then try sleeping at a more inclined position. Add more pillows or sleep in a recliner or on the couch if you can. With my son the last few weeks of my pregnancy we stayed with my inlaws because the only way I could get some sleep was in my fil recliner. But deff don't take over the counter meds for something that it's not going to cure anyways. And NyQuil is on my no no list of meds from my dr.
My throat has been dry and sore for the past 6 days and it hurts to eat and swallow, but also ive been having headaches. I've been drinking along of water and orange juice to see if it will help my throat but it hasnt and i just looked in my mirror and my tonsils had white stuff on them. I gargled with warm salt water but it didnt help at all.

Hi everyone, I'm 4 1/2 weeks pregnant and my throat had been extremely sore the past couple of days and need a good pregnancy safe medicine or natural remedy? Anyone have any ideas?
I get a bad sore throat every night and it lasts through the morning until I have my water/coffee then I am fine the rest of the day.
Should I be concerned or is this just due to the extra phlegm pregnancy produces? I have a doc appt tomorrow so I will ask then, just curious if anyone else has this daily (annoying) sore throat.
