My throat neck and mouth was very sore. The back of my throat was very red and I could feel the lymphadenopathy on the right side of my neck. The area where my gum hurts looked like a sore was forming right around there. Monday I went to the doctor and I was negative for strep but my doctor still treated me for it. I've been on a heavy dose of penicillin for days now and no change. It seems like the sores have spread and their on the roof my mouth, the lower and upper part of my gums.
In the last couple of days I have developed a sore throat and when looking at my tonsils there a pockets of white puss on them. I have started seeing a guy who is probably at high risk of having some kind of STD because of his sexual background and has never been tested for STDs before. Last week I gave him unprotected oral sex though I didn't get any sperm in my mouth.
They get better and worse but never leave entirely. Also my throat has a chronic mild sore feeling. The throat problem is nothing really bad but its there and never changes for the better or worse. I don't have skin issues, but what I have read, mouth sores can indicate a problem, possibly with the lamictal.
I have a horrible sore throat; it is very red and visible sores are present to the side of my uvula. Previous to the sore throat, I had been experiencing gums that were red and swollen, and the skin on my gums peels off. Also the area below my gums, the crevice between the gum and cheek, in the 4 areas below my molars the skin is very irritated with sores and the skin over top of the sores is white and peels away.
I m having ear pain and sore throat and also have sore mouth, my tounge, upper area of mouth and also hav pain behind the ears...been like this for a week now. I m worried as I had a pap smear wich came back with hpv and ascus and I also hav large fibroids wich I m getting treatment for. My great worry now is that is this sore throat related to hpv as hpv can also cause head and neck cancer. I will be glad if someone can help me on it.

I did have cold sores when I was a kid. Oct 26 woke up with a sore throat mild. I still have it. It is not severe. It is almost just a discomfort. I looked at it in the mirror under the light and throat is a little reddish. In one area there seems to be a very small bump no puss or anything. Other than that nothing ubnormal. Gonnerhea urine test on OCT 23 with Nucleic AA was negative.
Could this be throat Gonnerhea or HSV 1 or is it just a conincidence normal cold?
The first couple of days, I did not have a sore throat. The third day, I developed a sore throat as well as multiple canker sores on my gums and way back near my wisdom teeth. My gums in certain areas are tender and feel blistered and the roof of my mouth has the same feeling as if I burnt it on something hot. I have been using "Kanka" to numb my mouth because it is almost impossible for me to eat, but other than that, I don't know what to do or why this has happened.
I have read on some sites that people can get herpes sores on the tongue, throat, inside of mouth...and some sites say that oral herpes only occurs on the lips, face, nose. What have you seen with your exposure through your patients?

Aside from mild intermittent itching sensations on just about every part of my body (starting over a month ago) I have also had a mild sore throat and several sores appeared on my lower lip (this began 5 days ago). Hi, it is not common to have herpes sores breakout inside your mouth and throat but is possible. If you get them again, you should have them swabbed to confirm what they are. Sounds more like a staph infection as the doctors are confirming . How were you diagnosed for hsv1? Sinuses issues can surely cause headaches.
A day later that activity,I had a minor canker sore in my mouth.Now there’s really two minor canker sores in my mouth and my mouth is really dry.Are these symptoms of HIV or any STDs?Am I at risk?(P.S I went to see dentist but I didn’t tell her about my sexual activity and she checked my mouth and concluded that it is because of heat and my wisdom teeth .Can she be mistaken these sores with any STIs symptoms? When I research about mouth ulcers inside mouth (canker sores) - just about every website describes them being as a symptom for Acute HIV! I find this disturbing because other symptoms such as sore throat, rash etc don't come up with HIV been a cause in every website. Does this mean that mouth ulcers are a big sign of ARS?

I have been into a deep French kissing activity (3-5 minutes) with a prostitute, I had no bleeding gum or sores in my mouth during that time. After 2 days, my throat started to feel sore and then I started taken antibiotics that started to take effect in tackling my throat within the first 2 days. What is the risk of getting HIV via deep kissing activity ?
My throat has been sore for almost a month now. There has not been much discomfort expect for the few odd days. It just looks a fairly red and sore. There are no bumps or puss associated with this. Though on the side of my cheek (inside my mouth) on the left side I can see a small circle where the top layer is skin is gone, but again no real signs of bumps, sores etc so I don't know if it's related.
Overall, I have thought this could be a viral form of tonsillitus.
ve developed a slight sore throat on the right side of my throat, which is now a full sore throat. I also have slight muscle stiffness, which I think could be related to something else, but nevertheless, it's worrisome. I have previously been diagnosed with Herpes 2, so I don't know if this is some sort of outbreak (no cold sores present), or if it's because of something else. Could it be that the penis irritated my throat?
