I had a lot of tests, i think more than 15, the last one at 6 mounths mark, all negative, also undetectable RNA 7 weeks post exposure.I still have a lot of symptoms, sore throat, GI issues, burning feet etc.I just want to update my situation.I don't understand why peoples doesn't update their status and curent health condition.I think that everyone have to update, that way we will help each other.I don't want to **** of anybody but it s my opinion.
How does one contract Hepatitis? Would hepatitis cause chronic sore throat? My skin hasn;'t turned yellow at all. Thank you.
I have nausea but that seems to have gotten better. My tongue is constantly white and I always have a sore throat with mucus. I have bad acid reflux about 2 times that has lasted for about 3 days each and within that time i have felt it come up my throat. I started haviing anxiety attacks in January and now i cant ride buses or trains which is bad beacause Im a uni student. My eating habits have gotten worse and I have lost around 3 stones.
My lower abdomen pain/sensitivity has gotten increasingly more painful, and whenever I eat and drink, my abdomen is distended outwards causing pain. Along with this, the past month I have had an ongoing sore throat (no cold or illness), accompanied with difficulty swallowing and a constant need to try to clear it. My hands and fingers have also been appearing more yellowish than usual (Jaundice?). I am kind of worried at this point, as it has been so ongoing and frequent.
But am worrying whether this is HIV infection or anyother STDs.. swallon lymph nodes in armpits as well .. sore throat as well.
Ok well on Aug 29. I've had a sore throat, and I thought it was just a common cold. So I made me some tea with honey and suck on some cough drops. Couple of mins later i felt nauseous. I prayed it was only a one time thing but it wasn't...it continued and continued throughout this whole week. I can't eat, I can't sleep, I'm losing weight, and I'm becoming weak. I've hadn't had a decent meal in a week, please you gotta help me.
ve started my antibiotics again and am afraid to stop the prilosec since my throat is still sore and I still get reflux. I have a throat scope in a few weeks but I doubt it will do any good for me.
Has anyone experienced this or have any advice? The reflux and sore throat are worse than my lyme symptoms and I need to get it under control so I can finish my lyme treatment. I'm afraid I may develop a permanent reflux condition.
The symptons you described seem some what like I experienced but the time line and severity sounds different. My infection started out with a sore throat for a few days and my urine became dark in the mornings and progressed to full time dark (color of tea) in a matter of days it was all day long dark.
But to help you out, your billirubin is too high, which is a liver test, and this is related to you having jaundice, with the origin being, as I listed off before, depending on many factors, like the liver, gallbaldder, pancreas, evidence of Hep C and anemia. That's why I said you have to consult with a doc, who will want to probably do an ultrasound and other tests, to determine what those numbers, combined with your particular health and history, mean.
trust me, I did the screaming and tears and thinking my life was over. And you know what EVERYONE on this site has done that. It is totally normal to feel the way you do on learning you have HBV. But the good news is that you are ACUTE and this means as is said above that you have 90-95% chance of clearing it out naturally and becoming immune to it for the rest of you life!

I m having ear pain and sore throat and also have sore mouth, my tounge, upper area of mouth and also hav pain behind the ears...been like this for a week now. I m worried as I had a pap smear wich came back with hpv and ascus and I also hav large fibroids wich I m getting treatment for. My great worry now is that is this sore throat related to hpv as hpv can also cause head and neck cancer. I will be glad if someone can help me on it.
i am on week 13 of tx and I am going on my 6th week of having a sore throat and can not get rid of it. I took antibiotics for 7 days and didnt help at all. My Lymph Nodes located behind the ears and my throat are so enlarged that they are very sore. My nose is congested and is constantly bleeding. Is anyone having this problem? and is their any releif? I had unprotected sex with a woman and after 2 days I had a sore throat which lasted for 6 days (no medications taken) and then again I got it exactly 2 weeks after the day I had unprotected sex and this time it was bad but no fever and any other symptom. Ugh ive tried to avoid sick people as much as possible but Wednesday and Thursday I watched my finacees 7 year old nephew who was sick ( I didn't want to but had to watch him) and just woke up with the most awful sore throat and painful ears ! I started having a sore throat about a week plus one day ago. It wasn't all that bad, just sore to swallow. I went home for the weekend hoping that my parents care would heal me up over the weekend, but we tried multiple things and the sore throat wouldn't go away. It only kept getting worse.
I have a bad cold now and I called my midwife and she said Tylenol cold and flu is good. But don't overdose. And for me to follow the strict directions. And throat drops or cloreseptic sprays are good.
