I have been experiencing neck pain below my thyroid on the left side for 2 moths, suddenly the sore neck went into one side of my throat and ear Left side. It gets worse after 5-6 pm and I have to take serious pain meds to get it to calm down. I feel like I have the flu or something But I have no fever and no other symptoms. Covid tests all negative. My doctor put my on a huge dose of augmentin and it’s not helping.
Your persistent symptoms of sore throat, ear pain and lymph node swelling could be due to a throat infection, most probably streptococcal or a viral infection. Strep sore throat needs to be treated with an antibiotic as strep is a bacteria. Viral sore throat is best treated with rest, warm oral fluids and (OTC) Tylenol (acetaminophen) or ibuprofen for pain.

The pain in my neck and sore troat will not subside . At over 100 days since possible exposer if the sore throat was due to acute HIV would I get a positive test for sure. And I've noticed white spots in my mouth on the sides down into my throat. They look like somthing a chewer of tobacco would have but I don't chew .
Along with that I had tingling and numbness in my hands and feet. I had a negative MRI of my head, neck and pelvis. All of my blood tests have been negative and they tested for anything and everything they could think of. I got better and was symptoms free for 6 months. This January my symptoms came back but without the weakness.

ve had this painful small sore under my tongue right at the base in the middle and pain under my chin by my throat and no doctor seems to know what's going on. they look at the sore and say i'm not sure what it is or why your having pain in your neck area let's just keep watching it.

The lump is solid and i can move it a little bit. My throat is not sore, doesnt hurt when i swallow, doesnt hurt if I touch around it, only if I touch the lump. Then it hurts very much. I developed this same lump about 6 months ago and the doctor dismissed it as stress/job related. It did go away a few days later. Any ideas as to what causes this or what it could be?

About 2 months ago, I noticed a slightly swollen lymph node under my arm. Ever since I finished tx I have suffered from migrains, came down with Ebstien Barr Virus, Mono and Viral meningitis. I first had viral meningitis 8 yrs ago and had it again three wks ago. I also had shingles along with it! I am convinced this is all related to my Lyme Disease. I am so scared to get viral meningitis again! Has anyone experienced this or know what this is about?
