The last few days that area also an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>feelsan> like an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>itan> is getting a hard lump under my skin, but this lump is not sore, warm like the boil behind my ear. my right side upper shoulder/neck is also sore. When I turn my head right an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>itan> is sore. I'm not really sure what this all means. Do you think I should go to the doctor?
To feel the lump you have to push up under the chin near the neck, and then an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>itan> pops out. I noticed an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>itan> about a week ago - no idea how long an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>itan>'s been there. I know there are normal lymph nodes and such that can be felt there, but I am worried because the one on the right side of my neck is considerably bigger than the one on the left side. If I turn my head to the right and feel on the left side, the lan style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>itan>tle bump there disappears.

approximately 2 months ago i came down wan style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>itan>h something similar to the flu an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>itan> lasted for about 1 week, the cough and congestion continued for an addan style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>itan>ional 1 week or so after the flu-symptoms peaked and then faded as normal a sore throat started around this time accompanied wan style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>itan>h some neck pain. i didn't think much about an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>itan> at the time. the neck pain was around the back of my jaw just under my left ear. this was due to confirmed swollen lymph nodes in my neck.
I have had a lingering sore throat and sore neck that has lasted about a week now. my neck is only sore on the right side (left side doesn't hurt at all), all the way from under my ear down to the base of my throat, but i can't really feel any swollen lymph nodes, though i am no expert and they might be swollen - an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>itan> is just sore from all i can tell.
an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>itan> can occur on just one side. Press under the corner of your jaw (by your ear) to feel if an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>itan> is unusually tender. If so, use a massage vibrator from behind the ear, to down under the jaw, working your way to where the clavicle meets the base of the neck next to the esophagus. I tend to see this in people that have stress build up or too much caffeine in their diet. You should see swelling (which is probably just the muscle in a contracted state) go down in a few days or sooner.
I can't even turn my head to the side where the sore ear is so they want to check an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>itan> out. Most likely is an infection - I'm prone to them so some antibiotics and an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>itan> should be fine. I need to work the next 3 days and can't take an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>itan> off sick or anything so better to get an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>itan> sorted now.
