my doctor put me on some antibiotics, amozicilin and peniciline at different times and gave me medication for the fever. while the mouths sores and neck pains resolved, the sore throat, ear pains and the fever remains. i feel a burning sensation in the area where the sore is in my throat with radiating pains to the ear on the same side of the throat. i have since stopped smoking and cut down on my alchohol consumption. i feel very sick that i will need your advice to help deal with the problem.
I had a 25mci RAI treatment ten days ago. I recently started experiencing a sore throat and tenderness on both sides of my thyroid. I called my endo's office and was told to take ibruprofen for a few days and it should subside.
It's driving me crazy because it hurts to turn my neck at times and it's a little hard to swallow.
Please...........any ideas or suggestions?

Hi. I picked up HSV-2 (not 1) this summer on my neck, diagnosed via culture swab. Got it from rough making-out w/another guy w/course facial hair. Plus I had irritated my neck that morning from shaving. Primary outbreak one week later: multiple red patches w/blisters on neck midway between jawline and collarbone. Previously had been negative for HSV-1 & 2 via IgG testing. Hasn't yet come back.
No genital symptoms at time, even though brief oral (30 seconds?) performed on me.
ve had this painful small sore under my tongue right at the base in the middle and pain under my chin by my throat and no doctor seems to know what's going on. they look at the sore and say i'm not sure what it is or why your having pain in your neck area let's just keep watching it.
any ideas would be helpful.
So unable to reach my doctor I went to a chiroprator who actually took x-rays before he diagnosed and said I had nerve entrapment in c6. I have had one treatment but now I am in so much pain that I can not deal with it. My question or advice from you is what to do?
No skin rash or anything but feeling like a flu like symptoms and pain in certain muscle areas, neck and back. Skin is also feeling sore to the touch a bit like flu. No visible signs of infection though. Think peppermint oil is helping on that score though.

I have had early in the mornings sore neck muscles, palpitation, tremor and sweating. I have no sweating during daytime. I don't know whether these are due to overmedication (Thyroid Erfa) or undermedication. I am hypercalcemic. The neck muscles are also weak and stiff when I have those other symptoms. Ihave also a slightly enlarged lymph nodule(?) in the neck. The parathyroids were not seen in MRI scannin for parathyroids. I have a lung tumour (not specified what it is).
The lump is solid and i can move it a little bit. My throat is not sore, doesnt hurt when i swallow, doesnt hurt if I touch around it, only if I touch the lump. Then it hurts very much. I developed this same lump about 6 months ago and the doctor dismissed it as stress/job related. It did go away a few days later. Any ideas as to what causes this or what it could be?
HI I operator dozers at work and i have to turn my head around alot while reversing then the next day or so my necks a bit sore plus i get bad headaches that move around form the back of my head to my eyes feels like someone is poking your eye from inside to the out side and up sets my belly to the point i vomited
t the first time but then a couple years later I started treatment again and I was sore that time. Working for a chiropractor I can't tell you how many first time patients were sore the day after and decided not to come back, but really they should have kept up with their treatment plan, its soo worth it! And as far at.the treatment goes it never hurts me, sometimes when I'm getting my midback adjusted its ummm I guess you could say its awkward..only because my back is so tight.
What is the treatment for diagnostic spondylosis cervical spine, spondylosis thoracic spine and spondylosis lumbosacral.
