Sore neck glands on right side

Common Questions and Answers about Sore neck glands on right side

Over the past few days though i have developed about four or five more of these bumps on my chin and my left jaw line and my two glands under my chin are swollen and sore too. Also when i lean my neck back the front of my neck if really sore when it is stretched. All of the bumps that i have formed are just contsantly oozing out oil(so thats why i think those are just ingrown hairs).
By Thursday, the lymph nodes on the right side of my neck started to swell and my neck started to get stiff. It's now Friday and my sore throat is still just as bad, my neck is still stiff, & my lymph nodes are still swollen. My fever is gone, but I'm freaking out about possibly catching something from that guy. I looked online and it says some of my symptoms can be associated with herpes or worse.
For several months now I have noticed a lump on the right side of my neck. I initially thought it was a knot in my muscle, but now I have swollen neck glands with no sore throat.
I see that im getting canker sores and my glands are swollen and painfull all through my neck and under my chin. My gums are sore too. Has anyone gone through this or might they know what it is,....
I am 18 years old and my lymph nodes are swollen on the right side of my neck and are painful at times. Ive been expierencing side pain also on my right side. i went to my docter but i felt that she kind of rushed the appt. and prescribed me antibiotics for it and declared it was probably due to allergies. i have night sweats but am not usually tired. i have currently lost my voice almost completely but i think its due to a sore throat and drinking.
About 3 weeks ago, I noticed a small sore lump half way down my neck, on the side just behind the right ear. After a few days it stopped hurting, but the hard immovable lump stayed (about the width of 2 fingertips). Then, a couple of days ago, I woke up at 3-4am and felt another sore spot, this time more on the front and a little closer to the collarbone, but still on the right side. This is still sore to touch.
couldnt hardly walk to well couldnt focus when out shopping felt sick n dizzy and in a daze this lasted for a good few weeks that intense, really cold feet freezing no matter if i had loads on them ..a creepy feeling sensation on the right side of my face around the cheeka nd ear.eyes all bleary and couldnt seem to focus too well..
I haven't gone to the doctor and i've been like this for almost 5 days now. My neck is very sore on my left side and very lightly on my right side. It's hard to sleep comfortable at nights and I'm living on Ibuprofen. I take 400-1000 mgs at a time and I feel okay for about 6-8 hours then I have to take it again. I don't actually have a sore throat, it is my neck and my head that hurts. I have no feeling of congestion or any symptom of allergies or cold.
I have a small lump on my neck, it is on the right side about halfway up. It is quite small, probably not much bigger than a pea and it feels like it is located on the neck muscle (of course I suppose it could be behind it and pushing the muscle, I am not qualified to say but I don’t think so). I have played sport before and it feels to me exactly like the kind of scar tissue you can get after a pulled muscle.
have had pains in my upper left back (lasted a few weeks), also my neck has felt funny (tight, a little sensitive, possibly swollen glands), a weird pain near my right ear also has started to come and go (cannot tell if its inside the ear or in surrounding area), also have strange pain on top of head on right side (sensitive to touch) 10 weeks \ 4 weeks Sept. 24th negative 14 weeks \ 8 weeks Dec. 20th negative 15 weeks \ 9 weeks Dec. 27th negative OraQuick Should I be worried?
- During the 2nd-3rd week I developed a dry sore throat and a radiating dull ache from the (now swollen) glands down the centre of my throat. (four on right side, one on left) - After approx four weeks I had a brief respite from the pain for approx five days, though glands still a little up. i then drank alcohol (foolishly!!!) and the following day the pain was back with avengence. I have now had aching painful glands and a sore throat for seven weeks.
6 wks ago my glands swelled rapidly (extremely tender), one on each side of throat, under jawline. Gp was so shocked by how large and inflamed they were, he shouted his colleague to come and examine me also. - Inflammation decreased wi antibiotics. Gp said "incidental" as pattern of inflammation inconsitent with bacterial infection.
So 4 days after that encounter I began to get a sore throat and swollen glands and tonsils in my neck (one side in particular)with some discharge from tonsils. My throat is not really that sore and has gotten a bit better, however the gland on my left side is still really swollen and tender (its about 3/4 of an inch large). I havn't felt like I have a temperature at all.
my lymphnodes are located on the right side of my neck. i will have them check for those problems you were talking about. please if anyone finds out what is causing these long term lymphnodes then please let us all know. Sue M.
I have had now for almost a week, sore throat pain. It's only on the right side and when I swallow it feels like there is an abrasion or cut there. When I feel around with my fingers on my neck, my glands on that side are tender. What is this? Should I be worried? What can I do for some relief? The other side is nothing, I don't feel bad/besides allergy stuff. It's only when I swallow.
I have read a lot on swollen glands being an early symptom of hiv, but I am not clear on what sore glands with no sore throat means. None of my lymph glands feel enlarged. Is it possible these symptoms could be ARS? The whole time I figured it was just a bacterial infection that would go away, but it still hurts.
My glands even felt sore but just on the right side. The left side had no pain when I swallowed. This has happened many times before. I was just wondering if anyone has experienced anything similar?
While looking in the mirror, I noticed on the right side of my neck what looks like a gland pulsating. It is quite noticable, although the left side is hardley noticable. If I take a deep breath, cough, or burp it hurts the tendons(?) on the right side of my neck, the pain seems to be increasing with time, and the right side of my neck is starting to feel sore and somewhat swollen, although that might be because I keep messing with it since it is making me nervous.
It feels like a swelling under the right side of my tongue and when I press on the same point under my chin, kind of where my lymph nodes are it hurts. When I swallow it feels like it's pinching something and sends shooting pains into my neck. No sore throat, coughing or fever and it seems to really be brought on when I eat. I went to a football game Sunday and was screaming my head off and I'm not sure if this is a result of that. Help please?
I sometimes get a small, painful swelling under my tongue, right at the back on the side of the mouth. This lasts for a few days and then goes away. I also get swelling of the ducts under my tongue when I drink fruit juice first thing in the morning - I'm guessing that this is because the juice is encouraging saliva production. There is also a swelling where my chin meets my neck which has been there for a long time. It's not painful and doesn't bother me, and I would guess is a gland.
I guess i forgot to say that my lymph glads were swolen until my stress went away, but mine were only swolen on one side. I never had any swolen in my pelvic area, but on the left side of my neck, and it was sore to the touch too.
When I use the left-side for chewing, it is not the same as the right-side feeling. All the teeth on the left-side of the jaw feels weak. I experience discomfort/slight pain in the jaw/gums when I bite down on the left-side. My question : are both the above symptoms due to nerve disruption and will they get back to normal eventually?
Now I have two huge ones on my forehead and cheek, both on the right side, and another coming on on the right side of my chin. The two I tried to squeeze out and they've been oozing for a couple of days. Before I messed with the one on my cheek to drain it, about 2 inches around the area was hard with the inflammation. I also have two or three lumps in the right side of my neck. These feel like swollen lymph glands and not near the surface. Everything is on the right side.
Aside from that she has still got enlarged glands on one side of groin and also one side of neck. Is this common and also she still says she doesn't feel normal down there. She has had the worst time being devastated, in pain, and having repeated yeast infections it seems. She just can't seem to get on top of this awful condition. She is due for another check up but is so self conscience and even more so after all this.
