Common Questions and Answers about Sore muscles not healing

sore

Avatar f tn My muscles and joints have been really sore the past couple of days and I haven't done anything for them to have reason to be sore? Especially in my left leg, foot and shoulder! I hate it bc I'm 26 years old and should be able to run and play with my kids and just can't!
Avatar n tn My muscles are so sore & They feel so heavy, like when I lift them to get in the car. I also have so much trouble with my feet I can't exercise. I have diabetes & I really need to excercise What do you think it could be?
Avatar f tn If you are significantly uncomfortable when sitting after 9 weeks I would suggest you see your doctor for exam. It is not uncommon for patients to be sore for sometime after the surgery, 8 to 12 weeks, but an examination can make sure you are healing properly.

8924846 tn?1410572901 The past few weeks my muscles have been sore and stiff. Sometimes right when I wake up. I'm a pole dancer and even though I haven't been dancing as much as usual lately I still do my normal stretching routine. I'm not really sure why I'm so sore and stiff. Has this happened with anyone else? I'm 13 weeks 4 days.
Avatar m tn Thanks for the posts. 3 week update. Yaouch. I didn't go to the doctor because each day it improves a bit. Swelling is gone as of 2 days ago. Not as strong as I used to be, but gaining strength back. I looked like a puffy marshmello when it swelled. I'm stretching every other day and finally can fully extend. I'm not working out, just letting my body heal. I'll be careful and let go of the toe rope next time.
Avatar f tn You do realize you are going to be cut thru all your tummy muscles right? You won't be able to work out for a great minute... You can rip your stitches. I wanna say it's 6 weeks. And the first week is probably the hardest... Second is just really sore. By the third... That's when I start feeling a little better. And pain meds slow your healing process a lot a lot. It's how ever you can handle it best. But. Healing muscle is slow... And best not to rush it.
1326365 tn?1274888779 t get infected, I have found that it is best to bathe them in salt , but even then it may take up to two months to heal and some even longer. I have had a sore on my arm for about 3 months, it will reach the point of healing over and than become inflamed.
Avatar f tn I get cramps in my calves in my sleep which causes sore calf muscles. Try eating more potassium enriched foods such as bananas, spinach, or kale. It will help a little. But from what my doc tells me it's pretty common.

Avatar f tn im 32+1 and ftm and lately I been sore down there and im not sure what it is and I dont go to the drs till 2mrw morning, and how do u kno if ur baby is dropping
Avatar n tn Hi Vanessa and thank you for replying to my question. No I have not had any injuries. I was very silly for not having much of a warm-up or stretch before playing sports. And then after this I thought going to aerobics would help stretch me out. My neck, back and shoulders are still so sore and it has been 3 days. About two weeks ago was when I first started playing fastball again and that is when my headaches started around.
Avatar m tn mine is more like muscles not healing after a few days of workingout. I am not as young as I used to be but still it should not as long as it does to recover.
Avatar m tn When doing any activity (walking, using hands or arms, head movement) muscles are stressed not long after using them and the internal and some visible tremors are present. An example of this would be when weight training (bench pressing) and your trying to do a couple of extra repetitions, your muscles will start to shake as they become over exerted from the extra use. This is exactly what happens to my muscles after little use.
Avatar f tn ve always been on the thinner side with a super high metabolism and I liked to work out to gain a little extra mass. However, I started to notice that my muscles where always sore... this was not the familiar sore feeling from lifting weights, it was more of an exhausted type soreness. I mentioned it to my doctor during a physical 6 months ago and he tested CPK levels... they came back in the 800s (verified skeletal muscle). I had blood work done again after 1.
Avatar m tn Generally such wounds that do not heal are called non-healing ulcers in medical term. They could be non healing due to underlying infection, low supply of oxygen to the wound that is reducing the healing process, underlying diabetes, or due to underlying dermatitis. Wounds heal slower in smokers or alcoholics who have been drinking for a long time. So these have to be ruled out. Also diabetes leads peripheral neuropathy, atherosclerosis etc which make wound healing troublesome.
666921 tn?1254990618 Does anyone feel like their muscles/tendons are 'over-sensitive' - easily over-worked/pulled ?
1422823 tn?1287679280 I dont think its infected, I mean its still a little sore but its not red or swollen. I just assumed that atleast the scabs would be gone by now.
