Sore muscles after drinking

Common Questions and Answers about Sore muscles after drinking

sore

In tapering, I am already experiencing extreme muscle pain in hips, thighs, calves, and my feet are sore!!! Came home from work after 5 hours at the garden centre. This was a shift I breezed through while taking opiates. I embrace the pain though because it is a sign that I am withdrawing off Subs. Had a hot bath and was in bed by 8pm. Took my prescribed dose this morning, and am feeling better. THAT's what has me cheesed off!!!! These subs are becoming a form of relief for me!!!!
My thighs are sore my knees are sore and calves are sore. My vagina opening is sore and the lips and the whole area gets sore and sensitive but I get horny for more sex but it hurts to go on. My back also gets sore and maybe we just have too good of sex but it hurts a lot! Anyone know how to help with this?
I have read that stress can cause aches and pains but not for 18 months straight (not missing one day) and in the body parts I described. Another thing to note that may help - after a night of drinking, etc. I'll wake up in the morning and the ache is significantly intensified. If there is anyone out there that has experience with this and knows any answers, please let me know. I greatly appreciate any helpful info you can share. Thanks!!
“A hangover is characterized by the constellation of unpleasant physical and mental symptoms that occur after a bout of heavy alcohol drinking. Physical symptoms of a hangover include fatigue, headache, increased sensitivity to light and sound, redness of the eyes, muscle aches, and thirst. Signs of increased sympathetic nervous system activity can accompany a hangover, including increased systolic blood pressure, rapid heartbeat (i.e., tachycardia), tremor, and sweating.
my anxiety is sky high after a night of drinking, but i love drinking ahhhhhh dont get me wrong i dont have a problem its jus when i drink all my anxiety symptoms jus disappear but i suffer the day after so im tryin cut down on my beer intake, i find if you are gonna drink make sure you eat something and get a decent nights sleep, then plenty of water the day after, it is cruel how people have to stop what they enjoy doing cause of anxiety, dont get me wrong im not promoting alcohol but its unfa
It takes a long time for the body to recover and start functioning after drinking. Everyone is different as far as recovery.
Does someone have any advice why else my breasts might be sore? really very sore? I am new in the UK and after several attempts to see a doctor, with NHS full of nonsense, to no avail.
The weekend of Sept 9-12 also included heavy drinking. With this sore throat I developed some whiteness on my tongue and it is difficult to taste foods and drinks. This girl has reassured me probably 5 or 6 times she is totally clean and never engages in unprotected sex like that normally with someone she just met. Is this a corrrect timeline for ARS symptoms to develop? I have no fever associated with any of these things.
i have been tested 6 years ago via sweat test for cf and i believe the result was negative, can that change over the last month i can not even run 100m without taking 15 minutes to recover because my chest kills me and i cant get any air in, i get tired, sore joints and it is really worrying me. in my recent spirometry tests last week i was sitting at 50% whichc is terrible.
waking up feeling hungover, feeling spaced out and dreary, headaches, seriously sore joints and muscles after exercise, stomach irregularities, disrupted sleep and basically not wanting to talk or interact with the rest of the world. I have never eaten junk food in my life however i do drink in moderation. I am fed up with it considering i eat 'healthy' foods and exercise almost daily, so have purchased all these multivitamins and fishoils thinking that maybe im missing something in my diet.
Then it came back with a vengeance. I was getting to the end of my rope after about 3 weeks. After searching around on the internet, I found some people sort of generically talking about how dry mouth/throat can have this problem. I had noticed some of that. I ended up trying all kinds of things like humidifiers, etc. What wound working for me was this mouthwash called Biotene. I got it at the drugstore for about 10 bucks.
I am 21 year old man about 2 months ago started getting cold like symptoms aching muscles tiredness etc. and two days later swollen red and painful tonsillitis. I went to dr. Next day who prescribed penicillin v for 7 days. The pain went after approximately 4-5 days but whilst the swelling went down it didn't ever go completely down.
Yesterday I had a heavy workout and my muscles were very wore out so I thought that would soak in my tub. About 15 minutes in I started getting really itchy. Five minutes later it was driving me mad so I got out and saw that I had welts about a cm in dia. all over both sides. So I had to run and get the Benadryl. A couple of weeks ago after being the tub for about an hour I got out and felt winded for about ten minutes.
Latest have a go is cocodimol which apparently blocks the pain signals from brain to back muscles. Temporary euphoria. Pity, no wiser after reading experience of other contributors.
I'd fantasized about a massage while on the HCV meds because of how sore my muscles got all of the time (felt like I'd been beated up with a ball bat). However, I've never had one and it seems pretty intimate as someone is touching all over you (the prospect of that is scary to me). I've heard that poisons that collect in ones muscles can be released during a massage and that it can get you feeling real sick afterward.
I had trouble drinking from a cup, trouble chewing and swallowing. The good news is once my neck muscles eased up some...that all got a lot better..took quite a few weeks though. Now, I just have my "normal" swallowing problems however when my neck and back spasms..the first thing is affects is my chewing and swallowing again. So don't worry too much...carefully try to free up your neck a little but really what it takes is time!!
Can stress and not eating cause me to be lightheaded and depressed? Can my muscles be sore from just sitting all day and being depressed, (I usually work out everyday, but my muscles are feeling sore right now) I also crack my knuckles when I'm nervous so that could be a reason for the fingers. I don't know, should I be satisfied with my results and just lose all this worry and fear? If you suggest I should wait for the 3 month test, how can I reduce all these symptoms?.
Several of the comments above are beneficial - I went to weekly massages for a time out of desperation - I figured I was saving the money on Cymbalta anyway. Watch your water intake - critical even after tx. I was so tired of drinking so much water each day, and paid for it with an increase in pain post tx. Get enough rest, even if it involves taking a sleep aid - it's temporary and helps in dealing with the pain and anxiety that results.
I just figured it'd clear up, it's now thursday the week after, the headache took 3 days to go away, as did the stiff/sore neck. I'm just left with what feels like a tension headache now (round the sides of my head and a little on the top, just pressure really, not painful, throbs a little sometimes) and the ringing in the ears is still there (but only noticable at night really). It will get worse if i run or whatever much like a hangover but this is now 6 days later.
After being discharged from the hospital, I had problems with nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea and ended up back in the hospital after five days, had a PICC line inserted and was on TPN. After 10 days, I was discharged again. I continue to have the same problems. Two days ago, my surgeon did an endoscopic dilation. Again, no relief. After eating only a few small bites, I have to try to force myself to burp before I can try to eat anything else.
I've been reading everyone's posts about getting thick, non-stop mucous in throat after eating. I have the same thing for over a month now! Now, I'm also starting to notice a stuffed nose too, then the mucous. I also wake up around 4:00 AM with crackling sounds in my lungs, which turns into coughing and throat clearing for hours. This creates so much anxiety! NO doctors will help!! They said GERD may be causing it, but I've been on Zegerid, 40 mg.
I was walking like a 70yr old (I'm 28) for about two weeks after surgery. It was only after that point that I could walk (mostly) normally again. Stairs were painful. I went up them one at a time and usually had to pause at the top or bottom and let my muscles go floppy. We use those ab muscles more than we really think! In just a general scheme of things, don't really plan on doing anything moderately active for about two weeks, and then just little things, like going for a walk or something.
I was surprised he even had them, but when I think about it, his muscles must live sore due to all the slamming on the ground he does with his body. Since I never reacted well to them, I broke one into 8 pieces and took 3 of the pieces through the course of tonight. That means I have 1 and 5/8's left which should last me a year. Anyway, venting I guess, I believe I'll be awake all night just from that little bit. So let's talk!
A few days ago I noticed a sore, reddish swollen lump on my left inner thigh, right along my bikini line. It has since gotten larger (about the size of a nickel, and more elongated now). It only feels sore if I press on it or rub against it. It seems like a soft lump that moves around with the skin. Last night I applied a warm washcloth to it for about 30 minutes, which made it feel better. Could this be a swollen lymph node, or maybe an ingrown hair?
Has anyone else noticed that where the surgery was performed ( anasmotosis sp?) is sore after diarrea bouts? Take care all.....and I am sure enjoying my new baby grand daughter. You can go to my profile and see her pics....
I did stay in bedrest from Friday to Monday.. and I am drinking lots of water... does anyone know how long it takes for the embryo to implant after the transfer? Good luck to all....
Do anyone out there seen stroke victims move their finger and open and close them after 19 months? I also heard that what ever you get back after 2 years is what your left with? We got the Saeboflex for the hand but no results yet on any finger movements. Please tell me what might happen in the next 6 months.
I have noticed that after sex, I have a foul smell from my vagina. My husband and I were both virgins when we got married, and obviously there is no one else. I always empty my bladder and clean off after sex. The smell seems to be more noticable if we've had more sex in a short period of time. Also the smell doesn't show up until usually the next day, but lingers for a day or two! I feel like the whole world can smell it!
