I had harpies on my lips and everywhere in my mouth but after i got over it the bump keeps appairing in the side on my lip I don't know what it is. Can you help me?
It started with a broken tooth that got sore, then the gums, then my cheeks and tongue swelled up nd inside of mt lips, I developed a white sore on the end of my tongue and it split open from top to underneath. Really bad headaches nd now my throat is sore and my lungs are tight. I gargle and brush with baking soda and hydrogen peroxide, which keeps it somewhat under control. What do you thinK? O, and I am extremely fatigued. I almost forgot to mention that I have red spots on my palate.

My lips have been dry & chapped all winter, sometimes they'll get a sore too if I don't keep using chap stick. Late November a dark spot cropped up underneath of the skin on my lower lip. I don't know where it came from ... it just formed one night. My boyfriend pointed it out to me. It was small at first & the skin was still smooth. Over the next few days the skin there became really dry and the spot grew bigger & darker.

Such sore swollen gums can be due to gingivitis,infections,malnutrition and vitamin C deficiency,pregnancy or sensitivity to toothpaste or mouthwash .
Take vitamin C supplements for some days and change your toothpaste brand and avoid using mouthwashes if your swollen gums are caused by sensitivity to toothpaste or mouthwash.Also have good oral hygiene.
If the symptoms persist then pls consult a dentist and get gingivitis ruled out.

Alright, well, first off, since I was a child, I've been getting cracked lips on the corners of my mouth on rare occasions. I'm now 17 years old, and I still get them every once in awhile during the cold weather, or if I don't get enough hydration, but since I've been drinking lots of water, these cracked lips haven't appeared in a long time. Well, at least until recently.

hello everyone. i've tried this on the std forum and was told i should come here. about 9 months ago i had sex with a girl i knew nothing about and will never see again. 4 days later i had a small painless sore in my mouth. since then, i've had a lot of different symptoms in my mouth develop.
just started using hydrocortisone that was prescribed to me because the sides of my lips were chapped bad, and very sore. Its been working great, in regards to that. But for the second day so far my lower lip has been slightly swolen and VERY sore. And I'll wake up with blood residue on my gums. I'm not sure if this could be classified as a side effect of hydrocortisone, or if this is likely to be something else all together. I've never been allergic to anything thus far. I'm 18.
Keep getting staph infections from the issue, have taken antibiotics doxicyclin, bactrim ds, and famvir for viral, used cortisones creams, elidel creams, yeast/fungal cream, vaseline, taken vitamins, oral predisone. Nothing is wokring. My lips get sore, dry , start to get little bumps on them, gets a little crusty, gets inflamed and irritated. Tests have been done for autoimmune diseases, Thyroid, blood work, all seems to be negative.

I think there are some possibilities there. Dry lips, bacterial infection, vitamin deficiencies, or Fungal infection such as Tinea facialis are some of the possibilities.
Dry lips occur when the rate of loss of water from the skin has increased. It can be prevented by keeping the skin moist and then protecting it with a layer of jelly.
Bacterial infections may occur on top of a dried lip or may occur due to a loss of upper layer of the skin and subsequent infection.
Comforting, but I would not say I'm "without" them. I'm just not absolutely sure. But I think they are cold sores (probably). If they were, would this duration of burning be possible?
