a half into my time i started biting my lip(I thought from dry lips) and as i was biting my lips this how it started, at first i was biting my lips and there where no bumps or sores on my bottom lip, I had bit it one day and it bled really good...it ended up scabbing up and turning black and i would repeatdely bite that one spot and sometimes it got bigger and bled most of the time as it was im assuming healing up..
I was high on beer and didnt notice any sores or any sort of STD symptoms on her lips. Now, there is a very small boil appearing on my exterior outer lips, vertically beneath my nose. I'm getting very worried about this boil and really frighten if this could be a cold sore. It doesnt hurt now as it appeared only yesterday night, but if I eat some with chilli or keep rubbing it, it does have a tingling feel.

hello everyone. i've tried this on the std forum and was told i should come here. about 9 months ago i had sex with a girl i knew nothing about and will never see again. 4 days later i had a small painless sore in my mouth. since then, i've had a lot of different symptoms in my mouth develop.
I'm 11 weeks 3 days. My only symptoms are sore breasts, increased appetite and round ligament pain.
symptoms can appear at 3 days as a response to our bodies building antibodies. But like i said if she did not have any sores at the time this risk is quite low. Hsv2 sheds more often than hsv1 but from a one time affair the odds you contracted it are really quite low. I only mention this as an option.
it also is slightly swollen following down in the shape of my vaginal lips and has been for a while. when i have sex it feels as though it is so tight its going to tear and it becomes irritated i think and swells up more. i've only been sexually active with one partner who is free from stds and i have had no other symptoms common to any stds that i know of. the swollen part of red skin is sore to touch.
what could it be?
There are loads of things that can cause bumps on your lips - irritation, allergic reactions, dermatitis, eczema, Fordyce spots, among a lot of other things.
The only way you'll know what is causing yours is to see a doctor when you have them. If they think it's a cold sore, make them do a culture or PCR swab on it to know for sure.
Cold sores are caused by herpes simplex type 1, and about half the adult population has it.
Thanks for the replies. I personally hope but don't think it's just chapped lips. I've had chapped lips many times before and they never burned. There's been a few times they've been so chapped they'd bleed. A little bit of chap stick always fixed that problem. With the recent things on my lips, chap stick only has moisturized them that's it.

Could i have gotten hiv from giving her oral? I had a couple of small cuts on my lips, because i had chapped lips at the time.
Are these symptoms of another std thats not hiv?

I've recently been noticing some dry skin at the corner of one side of my lips and it's become crusty and brown and was previously itchy. For only about a week now my lips have become overly dry and I felt swelling in my lymph nodes and had a sore throat. The tiny bump i have forming on the insde of my upper lip does not look like any of the pictures of herpes that I have seen on the internet but the swelling throat and overly dry lips seem to be symptoms of herpes.

The next morning I had a hard bump on the left lip of my vigina and both lips were swollen. Ive swelled before but the bump is new. It doesnt feel like a sore just a lump. tingling sensation around the lips, dryness, not a full on sore throat but feeling of lumpiness, an occasional chill and mildly feverish. I was anxious the entire day. He had a sore at the time. It was at the very corner of his lips and it was scabbed over. We did tap kiss several times and he wanted to French kiss me but I told him I didn't want to. Something about it felt too soon. His lips are bigger than mine so I can't even remember if my lips even touched any part of the sore. Nonetheless I'm still very worried.

std testing 5-6 weeks post encounter is enough time for gonorrhea, chlamydia, trich and syphilis. it was too early for testing for herpes, hiv and hepatitis. you have to wait at least 3 months post encounter for that testing to be accurate.
1 out of every 3 of us contract hsv1 before we even step foot into public school.
I didnt think about it until after that I had had a sore in my mouth that i had gotten a week or so earlier from biting myself while eating. The wound was almost all the way healed but i could still feel where it was in my mouth with my tongue. Also, it was very cold and dry outside and i had cracked lips, and i noticed that there was just a very small amount of blood from one of the cracks on my lips after my encounter with this girl.
