Hi I have had a sore lump under my left nipple for about a month now. It has grown to the size of a small pea. Does anyone know what this could be or had any experiences of this and would this describe any cancer symptoms.
I have a Hard lump under my right nipple and it's really sore. there is no discoloration and my breast is the same shape. if you run your fingers lightly over the nipple you can't tell, but if you apply pressure it is clearly a lump and is sore. what could this be?

Today my son (12 years old) found a small lump under his left nipple. He has been ill with a cough and sore throat (caught from me) since the 26th of January. Is this anything to do with breast cancer and should i take him to see a doctor? If not what is the cause and will it die away? Thanks.

I woke up yesterday with a very sore left nipple, and once I felt it, I could feel a hard small lump directly underneath it. My husband was playing around the day before and bit it, so I am wondering if it is just a result from that? I am only 23 so I am praying that its not cancer and will go away. Any advice would be great! Thank you!
i have a 12 year old son who has a small pea sized lump under his left nipple. what could this be? should i take him for a medical exam?
For the last 4 days I have had a sore, hard nipple and I think I feel something under the nipple. I don't know if it is hormones (having had a hysterectomy I don't know if I'm ovulating) or if I should wait a little and see if the soreness goes away or have it checked out. I am a little perinoid under the circumstances but I am the only family member to ever have breast cancer. I'm 41 had 3 kids, breastfeed don't smoke, drink, ect. Also hormone recepter was negative so I don't take tomoxifen.
Symptoms of male breast cancer include lumps, changes to the nipple or breast skin - redness or scaling, skin dimpling or puckering, or nipple discharge. What you need to do is get a clinical breast examination done by a physician. If he notices something amiss he will suggest a mammogram and USG. It would then be possible on the basis of these reports to decide whether a core needle biopsy or a surgical excision biopsy would be the preferred option in your case.
Ever since then my breast hurts really bad. What should I do? How should I treat the sore on my right breast nipple?
Hi, As long as you will squeeze the nipple, the discharge will continue, you have to stop doing that if you want the discharge to stop also. Only a spontaneous discharge from the nipple of one breast may indicate breast cancer but most discharges are from benign (non-cancerous) conditions and most cancers do not have a discharge. I would, however, advise seeing a physician to evaluate this fluid, which they would do in the context of a physical exam, as well as, your personal and family history.
however, the USG showed a cyst or other mass but it was located in the upper quadrant of my breast midway between my arm pit and my nipple. It doesn't hurt but my breast is definately swollen. I can barely fit into my bras as my left breast swells over the edges all around. this is new. it wasn't doing this earlier. Should i call the dr again?
the first time my whole breast was sore and under my arm and feverish and felt like when my milk came in. there is a small bump behind my nipple. people said it may be a clogged duct.
Yesterday I noticed a pain in one of my nipples. It's sore, and I had to actually roll over to lay on my other side so it wasn't touching the bed when I slept. There's a lump under it. Not under it visibly, but I felt I guess "behind" the nipple and there was a lump there that wasn't behind my left one (behind as in, inside the breast). It's sore even when I'm not touching anything. I'm only 17, my grandmother's had cancer, my mother's had cancer removed, I'm scared.
basically i thought i was treated for gonorrhea but i still had it so i got retreated any way before i was treated and after i was retreated ive been having really sore breast and sleeping alot i pushed my nipple into my breast and it was really sore this has been going on for almost 12 days and i read when having a std u can experience pregnancy symptoms.
Hi I'm so upset! My sister in law has a open sore on her breast. She told me it was not even hurting. Its near in her nipple. And it has a purulentfluid. She had been to Health Clinic and they make a bloodtest untill now we have no result. I'mafraid its a cancer. The staff told her to visit another clinic for xray. Can someone explain me if this is cancer or just an infections? I know she has to cunsult a specialist but the problem is they can't afford. I'm afraid if this is cancer.

Didn't know him so don't know the specifics. For the last six months I have had a sore lump under my left nipple. It used to only hurt when I touch it, but lately it kind of aches alittle sometimes without touching it. It suddenly appeared and hasn't changed much in size. It worried me, but I never really did anything about it until a week ago. My doctor felt it and said it is probably some fat, but sent me to get an ultrasound. I did and the results are: 1.8 x 1.2 x 1.
I noticed that my left nipple is ever so slightly inverted, just at the peak rather than the whole nipple. I can feel no lumps. I have had lymph node inflammation under the armpits and the neck i think (which come and go- they are just sore, not red or cyst like, and go away after 2-3 days), but a few months ago I had glandular fever and I don't think its really gone yet. I have really sore pectorial muscles and upper arms, which started with the glandular fever.

It is on the rt breast and is painful to touch. Nipple is red with some swelling. Also, I have some swelling in breast just below nipple and side. Went to my GP and she prescribed antibiotic and did a CBE (no lumps felt). She feels it's just an infection. I have no family hx of BC, I'm 35 years old, my first child was born at 29 years old, and my first period was at 12 years old. The pain feels like I've been pinched. All of this has occurred in the past three days (Tues, Wed., Thur.
I posted this under the breastfeeding forum too... Well Nadezdha is 7 months old now, and over the last two weeks I have gotten very sore. To the point that I have sores on my left nipple and around it on the aerola (sp). I almost wanted to cry and can't help but clench my teeth as she intitates nursing... This concerns me because now it looks pretty bad. Tonight I pumped like usual after work and noticed that it looked like it has a rash now, with damaged skin as well as small scabs.
