i found some lumps in my armpit but before that i had discharge from my right breast now when i touch my nipple or arm pitt i get pain in my shoulder and arm and i feel tired all the time

i've been having painful lumps in both my armpits, i didn't pay much attention to that cuz i thought it may be due to colds that i've been having. although i never had lumps in my armpits before during a cold. last week though, my right breast was sore. it wouldn't be a big deal had it been two painful breasts before my period, cuz two breasts normally hurt before my period. my right breast is achy AFTER my period and the following day a painful lump on my armpit showed up.

Hi i am 22 weeks pregnant i have a lump in my left breast near my armpit..since i found it i have been touching it quite often and now there is a lingering pain. Does anyone know about this? is it something with pregnancy? it was not there 2 weeks ago cause i went to the doc and he did a breast examination.

I also typed in "sore breasts" and came upon this forum. I am 26 and experiencing soreness on the sides of my breasts similar to when I was breasfeeding. I thought it was just me but after reading some of your comments I will definitly be calling my doctor to check it out.

It is not bad, just enough for me to notice. I also noticed that there is a lump in the middle of my armpit. My L armpit does not have this. Could this just be a swollen lymph node?

I have sore breast/armpit/back/shoulder pain. It has come on since I had a panic attack last month. The feelings change from tingling to burning to sore to pulsing to itchy. It is primarily on my left side, but I get a little on my right at times. I am on zoloft for the anxiety and working with a therapist, but the pain is still there. I thought there must be something seriously wrong with me. I can't believe how many others mention this same pain.

I'm really not sure what that could be, but having tenderness on the outside of your <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>breasts</span> (towards the armpit) can be caused by your hormones, both your own and those in birth control. Allthough I don't know what would cause pain radiating down your arm. I hope you find the cause soon...I'm sure it must be pretty frustrating going from doctor to doctor without getting a real answer.

I do not have any clue how long these lumps have been there. Whenever I checked for lumps I only did it right in my <span style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>breasts</span>, not near the armpits. (big mistake I know) So I do not know how long these have been there. I have no other lumps anywhere. These do not hurt whatsoever, not even if I touch them which scares me as it seems it would be better if they were painful after reading all these forums. I am 38 years old, 4 children, had my first at 22 and my last at 30.

The burn itself ended up being much smaller of a deal than I had thought it would be, but did leave my pointer finger swollen and red with a large blister (still intact and almost absorbed at this point). Nothing was near my armpit though. Feeling it again right now, it really does feel mostly in the skin and not the muscle. It's very puzzling......and annoying. Thank you again so much!

when she felt it today there was nothing wrong with the left armpit. my breast are fine, no lumps. she seemed scared, but the doctor would not approve of an ultrasound unless it is still there next week. she said that if things get worse to call ASAP. am i being paranoid and what could these tender swollen lymph nodes be. i had a HIV test done in july 25th. please let me know as soon as possible. thank you for your support.

Around the arm pit can contain breast tissue, lymph nodes, as well as other tissues. I would strongly suggest seeing a doctor. It could be nothing more than a cyst, a fat or fluid filled lump. and if she's been ill it could possibly be a swollen lymph node. However, breast tissue can sometimes be found near the arm pit, so it's theoretically possible that it could be related to that. What does the lump feel like? Is it sore at all? Does it move freely?

What might cause a very sore swollen lymph node just under skin in area between armpit and breast? I had an Adnexal tumor-syringomatous carcinoma removed in 3/2002. I have had something maybe like what you have a couple of times in the past. Mine was like a hard knot right to the right or left of my clitoris and over a couple of days got sore. Mine turned out to be breast tissue (benign) in the armpit area which was subject to the same tenderness as regular breast tissue due to fluctuations in my hormones.

I have extreme soreness on the right side of my breast near my armpit. It doesn't neccesarily hurt unless I touch it, or if my arm brushes against it, and laying on it slightly hurts. So, I've of coarse avoided laying on that side or touching it. When I touch it, It feels like a sore muscle would with a slight stabbing pain. My breast does appear slightly puffy where the pain is, but no discoloration. My OB has felt around the area and can't find anything suspicious.

i went to see the surgeon today and she said my lymph nodes are swollen - but not anywhere near my armpit. she said she thinks it's possible that a lymph node may be pressing on my thoracic nerve and that is what is causing the pain. she is sending me to have a CT done on monday. i don't have any family history of breast cancer, but my mom died of lung cancer 3 years ago - they only found it because the tumor was pressing on a nerve and it was painful.

I have redness around my breast, pain in my armpit and stabbing pains in my breast I mean sharp ones and now the lymph nodes in my neck are painful as well not the sore throat type but pain. I have had a Mam, Sono, MRI and needle aspiration all come back okay,it hurts to even wear a bra, I am post menopause as I had a hysterectomy when I was 23 which was over thirty some yrs ago, what else can I do.

I'm 25 and just a few weeks ago, I started getting a really bad pain on the outside of my breast, close to my armpit. A few days later I checked and there was a large hard feeling inside there. I went to my GYNO and saw the nurse practioner. She put me on an antibiotic to see if it was an infection & would clear up. The antibiotic did nothing and the pain moved to the other breast. It was a burning, sore, tight, pulling pain in both of them now. She sent me for an ultrasound.
