Hi i am 22 weeks pregnant i have a lump in my left breast near my armpit..since i found it i have been touching it quite often and now there is a lingering pain. Does anyone know about this? is it something with pregnancy? it was not there 2 weeks ago cause i went to the doc and he did a breast examination.
just wanted an opinion, well this is my 3rd pregnancy so i know sore bbs are the norm but my right breast is very sore on the side near my armpit deep in my breast very sore when i first get up in morning, ok question?
the first time i found it was months ago and that time it burst and kinda gone but sometimes it would appear again in my armpit (but not on the same spot), sometimes in my left armpit. I've been using ichthyol cream and doesn't seem to make it all gone. as for my breasts, I never felt any pain on my breast or find a lump. should i be worried? thankyou so much.
I've experienced the same thing and I'm starting to become worried. I have this pain in my left armpit right along the edge of my left breast. No problems with my right. I'm not sure what this is and if it warrants getting it checked out.
Hi, thank you for this forum. Yesterday I noticed a small lump under my left armpit, lower down though where I can feel it when my arm is down if I check for it so it is not directly under my armpit. I noticed it when I had an itch. I checked the right side and again I have a lump in the same exact spot, mirror images of eachother. I do not have any clue how long these lumps have been there. Whenever I checked for lumps I only did it right in my breasts, not near the armpits.
the burn itself ended up being much smaller of a deal than I had thought it would be, but did leave my pointer finger swollen and red with a large blister (still intact and almost absorbed at this point). Nothing was near my armpit though. Feeling it again right now, it really does feel mostly in the skin and not the muscle. It's very puzzling......and annoying. Thank you again so much!
I can't believe I stumbled upon this forum. I have sore breast/armpit/back/shoulder pain. It has come on since I had a panic attack last month. the feelings change from tingling to burning to sore to pulsing to itchy. It is primarily on my left side, but I get a little on my right at times. I am on zoloft for the anxiety and working with a therapist, but the pain is still there. I thought there must be something seriously wrong with me. I can't believe how many others mention this same pain.
Around the arm pit can contain breast tissue, lymph nodes, as well as other tissues. I would strongly suggest seeing a doctor. It could be nothing more than a cyst, a fat or fluid filled lump. And if she's been ill it could possibly be a swollen lymph node. However, breast tissue can sometimes be found near the arm pit, so it's theoretically possible that it could be related to that. What does the lump feel like? Is it sore at all? Does it move freely?
What might cause a very sore swollen lymph node just under skin in area between armpit and breast? I had an Adnexal tumor-syringomatous carcinoma removed in 3/2002. I was told my the surgeon the size of the tumor was that of a golf ball. Within this past week I noticed a very sore/painful swollen lymph node in area near where the tumor was removed. It is under the skin and cannot be seen by looking at it.
when she felt it today there was nothing wrong with the left armpit. my breast are fine, no lumps. she seemed scared, but the doctor would not approve of an ultrasound unless it is still there next week. she said that if things get worse to call ASAP. am i being paranoid and what could these tender swollen lymph nodes be. i had a HIV test done in july 25th. please let me know as soon as possible. thank you for your support.
I had my period on 9/06 and stopped on 9/10 and a week later my right breast became sore and even it is still sore and swollen. My husband had a vasectomy back in 2004 and i dont know whats going on.Someone please help me !!!!!! I had aspiration 3 weeks ago, the cyst is gone (hopefully) but my breast is sore and I feel pain near my chest area. I had my heart checked up but nothing wrong there. Any clues?
Within the last 72 hours I have experienced the development of painful lump accompanied by swelling and pain in the inside of my right arm (at the elbow). I had an ultrasound performed immedtiately which indicated an infected lymph gland which caused a blood clot to form in that area. I was given an antibiotic (cephalexin 500 mg 4x/day) along with a script fo warfarin sod 5mg tabs 1x/day. I visted an ER 12 hours later because the pain and and swelling had spread to right torso and neck area.
the next morning I woke up and looked down at my boob to find this lumpy, bumpy mountain protruding from the side near my armpit. I was FREAKED OUT. And it hurt like hairy heck! Called my GP and they got me in within a couple of hours. Felt my boob, told me it was Mastitis (I've never been pregnant) and sent me home on antibiotics with a follow-up in 2 days. Bloodwork showed a normal SED rate, normal blood count. Two days later I went back in, no noticeable change. Saw a new doctor.
had 4 lumps under my right arm, right in the armpit. Sore are all hell. Later that day I got one under my left arm this 1 is directly in the center. the other 4 were 2 high and 2 low...I'm guessing it is just a swollen lymph node. Or clogged sweat glands. As I mentioned before this happened last summer and in about a week maybe 2 they go away. Note the Last time the pain was much worse and could hardly lift my arms without crying in pain.
I have extreme soreness on the right side of my breast near my armpit. It doesn't neccesarily hurt unless I touch it, or if my arm brushes against it, and laying on it slightly hurts. So, I've of coarse avoided laying on that side or touching it. When I touch it, It feels like a sore muscle would with a slight stabbing pain. My breast does appear slightly puffy where the pain is, but no discoloration. My OB has felt around the area and can't find anything suspicious.
My right armpit has a small lump at the bottom near my breast but myleft armpit has a large lump, which over the days has been getting larger and now covers the area of my armpit. they are exremely painful when I touch them and hard. I have been sweating more lately and wonder if that has something to do with them. I haven't been to see the doctors .. should I? Please help me !! =( Im very scared !!
I'm 25 and just a few weeks ago, I started getting a really bad pain on the outside of my breast, close to my armpit. A few days later I checked and there was a large hard feeling inside there. I went to my GYNO and saw the nurse practioner. She put me on an antibiotic to see if it was an infection & would clear up. the antibiotic did nothing and the pain moved to the other breast. It was a burning, sore, tight, pulling pain in both of them now. She sent me for an ultrasound.
I have redness around my breast, pain in my armpit and stabbing pains in my breast I mean sharp ones and now the lymph nodes in my neck are painful as well not the sore throat type but pain. I have had a Mam, Sono, MRI and needle aspiration all come back okay,it hurts to even wear a bra, I am post menopause as I had a hysterectomy when I was 23 which was over thirty some yrs ago, what else can I do.
I am recovering from having breast tissue removed from my armpit. I had surgery just over 2 weeks ago and the best thing ever. the lump used to hurt especialy at night in bed when I would sleep on my side. It also looked ugly and like another boob. My surgeon did an excellent job with the scar so far it looks okay. I would say if it hurts and you are concious about it have it removed. My sister also had both armpits done.
Not sure if they have ALWAYS been there (but not painful) or are new. *Within last month or two - Have pain and discomfort in middle of LEFT armpit, near the hollow area. NO swelling that I can tell. Just soreness and pain. It comes and goes - normally several times a week. *Within last month or two - Have pain in upper LEFT arm on the inside (closest to chest).

Hi, I have a small pea sized hard lump under my left arm near the pit, visible to the eye - sore when pressed or tight clothes rub off it, could this be something like an ingrown hair? (there isn't ususally hairs on that part of my armpit) or could it be a cyst? Should I get it checked? 29 yr old female. Thank you.
the left breast has a dark green fluid (staff) and the right has the same along with what seems to be a yellow thick discharge(looks like puss in a wound). two different substances from one breast. on the right breast I now have some bruising and bruise like lines (small) When I check breast's after shower they are somewhat stimulated by the cold. This is when I can see white spots under the breast. they are very small and in lines approx. 2cm. all over the breasts.
I found a lump on my outer breast (left)...somewhat on the way to the armpit. A few days later it began to hurt. the pain goes through the breast, up the armpit and is now spreading into my rib cage. there is now some swelling in the ribcage below left breast (almost feels as though the ribs are broken). I went to a Dr. and he had me get a mammogram and ultrasound.
