It is much, much weaker than epineprhine and you would get a much, much lower dose of it than dental injection with epinephrine. Even so, I would just play it safe for regular exams and just get tropicamide which should not affect blood pressure or pulse.

I think I've read that all the Bs are water soluble, so they should pass out of your system quickly, I would guess (but I'm not medically trained, so don't know for sure).
I too take B complex supplements, some of which run up into the thousands% of daily requirement, like B-1, which is 3,333% of MDR.
Given that the Bs are supposed to just wash out of your body, it seems like it might be something else, but this is a question for your doc.

Any type of contact with water, hot, cold, sea water, bath water, with or without bath products, swimming pool water - all brought him out in huge welts all over his body - definitely not just torso.

I cannot confirm anything without examination but it can be contact dermatitis or allergic reaction to the chlorine in the swimming pool water. Treatment includes epinephrine, antihistamines, or cortisone-like drugs. Take some oral antihistaminic like Benadryl and apply calamine lotion. Itching can be controlled with cold packs or commercial topical agents that contain menthol, camphor, eucalyptus oil, aloe, antihistamines, or cortisone preparations.
