I'm wondering if there's any research supporting a link between solodyn and eye floaters. I was on Solodyn for about 2 months and my vision deteriorated over the same period of time. I have pretty severe floaters that distract me in reading and computer use. Previously a little farsighted but not requiring glasses. Optometrist says the back of my eye looks like "a spiderweb." No retinal detachment, glaucoma, cataracts, etc.
A few years ago I had a horrible case of acne and was put on the Doryx pill for 3 weeks, wash with Brevoxyl 2x day, morning Tazorac topical and evening Duac topical. This combination cleared up all of my acne and dark spots in a month !!! So after two months I weened myself off of the topicals. Everything was fine.
About 2 years later, I had another bad breakout. I have really oily skin, lots of white and blackheads and acne scarring (dark spots) resulted from these pimples.
I just found out that I am 6-7 weeks pregnant and I took Solodyn 115mg for the first month of my pregnancy! I am really scared that this might have harmed my baby. All the websites say to avoid becoming pregnant while taking Solodyn because it has been shown to cause harm to the human fetus. Has anyone been in this situation?
I saw a dermatologist and he said that it was folliculitis and prescribed me solodyn (minocyciline). The sores on my lips usually last a week, but I usually pop them and they are sore, but no blood or pus comes out. They heal and have dissapeared, but for a little redness that you can't really see unless you look closely in the mirror. Is there still a chance that this is herpes?
MRIs and CTs are not, to my understanding, well suited to detecting Lyme. There is another scan, called SPECT scan, that Lyme docs use sometimes because it shows areas of low blood flow [perfusion] in the brain, which is one of Lyme's tricks -- inflammation leads to swelling leads to low blood flow leads to memory problems and other things.
I've not had bumps like you have, not sure if you mean little tiny ones or large swellings.
If someone had hiv would it take two years or could it have been a reaction to the medication solodyn which does have a side effect of joint pain. I have been tested several times since that encounter and my hiv test even up to febuary when I got sick was negative and the three previous tests before that were negative.
went to Derm just to see if i could get skin as clear as possible, biggest mistake of my life right now. He started me with acanya and then gave epiduo a try (acne became bad on my forehead). Went back to him and he prescribed me epiduo with solodyn. After a few weeks i had tiny red spots on my face and huge pimples. I tried proactive as well and that didnt work. After that i told him the situation over the phone and he said to continue the solodyn with epiduo.
In February, I got retested again and it came back negative for both. I went to a dermatologist and he prescribed me solodyn (minocycline) for folliculitis and said that most likely that is what it is. Recently I experienced the same bumps on the same side of my lower lip where my lip meets my skin. I went to get it tested today and the doctor did not test for herpes, but said that it most likely was herpes.
I went back and had a culture of the actual infection taken (results unknown), but as the doctor said the drainage was just blood, that I am probably dealing with a cyst that may need to be removed. As I'm guessing this may be a somewhat painful solution, I would appreciate your opinion. Thanks!
I started getting the yeast infection symptoms a little more than a month ago, but wanted to wait until after I finished the antibiotics to fill my sript for the vaginal cream, Terazol. Once I was done with the Solodyn, I filled it my perscription for the Terazol but also made the appointment to go see my gyn as precaution.
Spironolactone. Girls can take it, not boys. That is the key to cystic acne for girls. All hormonal based. I'm 49 and have had them since 17 years old. Still get them, but only once a year. Taking Solodyn 105 mg. with it, too. That's a high dose, but necessary (weigh 135lbs). Spironolactone comes in 25mg pills. One pill a day is not enough! That won't fix anything. I take 100 mg a day to maintain. 50 mg in the morning and 50mg at night.
One day, the patient admitted with alcohol withdrawal syndrome. He does not drink alcohol since 3 days ago. He suffer restless then I injected diazepam 10 mg iv ! In a few min, he got like gasping and then dead by respiratory arrest ! I did CPR but can't revive ! So can I give Diazepam to the patient who is suffering from alcohol withdrawal ? Advise me pls !
That's 3500 mg of acetaminophen which isn't a huge amount. It is quite a bit if taken at one time though but to be honest I have taken much more than that at once and for a extended period of time. Luckily I didn't do any damage to my liver or kidneys. You should be just fine since you haven't made a habit out of it. As I'm sure you know, mixing alcohol with acetaminophen is a very bad combination so make sure you don't do that again.
I’m not trying to convince anyone that they should or shouldn’t use alcohol with cooking. If it makes you nervous, don’t use it. There are alternatives.

t help to get rid of the ones I have. After 6 weeks of using what she prescribed me I went to the dermatologist again and with her and me not being happy with the results she prescribed me tazorac gel 0.05% a sodium, sulfacetamide 10%, sulfur 5% cleanser, solodyn 55mg pills to control my acne and sunscreen but yet again (surprise surprise) didn't help with the hyper pigmentation. I have fair skin and it makes the hyper pigmentation appear darker than it is because of the contrast.
That is an antibidoic, which can effect your cylcle. That explains why your period was off. Remember, antibidoics can cancel out your birthcontrol making you more succeptible to becoming pregnant.
I am on solodyn and thought maybe that could be causing this. I am currently using cortizone and aquafor as that is the only thing that does not irritate me. What do i do?
I wash my face twice a day and after I sweat with a salicylic acid wash. I use a clean facial scrub brush to wash my face and help with exfoliation. I change my pillow case every night and never touch my face.

You definitely should not be drinking alcohol with this combination of drugs. You're taking a high dose of xanax - that alone with alcohol would cause the effects of the alcohol to be exacerated. Mixing the two could also be fatal. Both are central nervous system depressants. Drinking alcohol may also increase your risk of certain Abilify side effects, such as drowsiness or low blood pressure (when sitting or standing up). You may also be more sensitive to the effects of alcohol.
