s any research supporting a link between solodyn and eye floaters. I was on Solodyn for about 2 months and my vision deteriorated over the same period of time. I have pretty severe floaters that distract me in reading and computer use. Previously a little farsighted but not requiring glasses. Optometrist says the back of my eye looks like "a spiderweb." No retinal detachment, glaucoma, cataracts, etc.

Abt two months ago, I was prescribed Solodyn, I use neutrogena creamy wash, Retin-A and some hydroquinone for the dark spots. The solodyn make me break out in a HEAP of HIVES !! so I stopped taking it about 3 weeks ago and now I have been prescribe Bactrim?
It seems that antibiotics are the ONLY thing that cure my acne since I have really oily skin. The topicals dry it out in the beginning, and I only apply a little, but then my sebaceous glands quickly make up for the lack of oil.
I just found out that I am 6-7 weeks pregnant and I took Solodyn 115mg for the first month of my pregnancy! I am really scared that this might have harmed my baby. All the websites say to avoid becoming pregnant while taking Solodyn because it has been shown to cause harm to the human fetus. Has anyone been in this situation?
My Dermatologist did a nose swab, and the results came back as psudomonas, and I completed a dosage of Cipro, and used neosporin in the nostrils.
One of the bolis has come back however, approximately as big as a fingertip, and is somewhat painful. I went back and had a culture of the actual infection taken (results unknown), but as the doctor said the drainage was just blood, that I am probably dealing with a cyst that may need to be removed.
Went back to him and he prescribed me epiduo with solodyn. After a few weeks i had tiny red spots on my face and huge pimples. I tried proactive as well and that didnt work. After that i told him the situation over the phone and he said to continue the solodyn with epiduo. i did for another month and nothing happened. He now switced me to cephalaxin and i have been on it for about three days. my whole face now has tiny pimples starting to emerge in areas i never have had them before.
If someone had hiv would it take two years or could it have been a reaction to the medication solodyn which does have a side effect of joint pain. I have been tested several times since that encounter and my hiv test even up to febuary when I got sick was negative and the three previous tests before that were negative.
I started getting the yeast infection symptoms a little more than a month ago, but wanted to wait until after I finished the antibiotics to fill my sript for the vaginal cream, Terazol. I used cortizone to control it (which it did initially) then used a number of creams and gels to keep the area hydrated. I am convinced that this did some long term damage to my eye area and still have problems with them now.
I came to the conclusion it was the eye make up i was using that initally caused the skin to get irritated. There are harsh chemicals in them that can cause allergic reactions.
It is worth a try because accutane has its own side effects and especially for girls who may be sexually active...I'm not saying that your daughter is though...but getting pregnant while on accutane is very bad.
In the last 2 years, I have noticed 2x's I have had some slight irritation underneath my penis. Its only 1 spot on it really doesnt hurt but rather annoying. That is an antibidoic, which can effect your cylcle. That explains why your period was off. Remember, antibidoics can cancel out your birthcontrol making you more succeptible to becoming pregnant.
Hi, I have post inflammatory hyper pigmentation and I've had it for absolutely ages. After I get rid of a breakout it always leaves a red mark and it doesn't fade away! I've read online that they do fade away but for some reason mine aren't.. I still have some hyper pigmentation from some spots I had about 12-24 months ago.
I use bare escentuals mineral foundation and Neostrata products (good for exfoliation.) I am going to my doctor in a few weeks and will speak to her about this. I've suffered with this all through my 20's and enoughs enough!

I have tried so many different medications and treatments but none seem to work long-term and afternoon 14 years of this I am very frustrated and just don’t know what to do. Many of the medications seem to help for a couple of months but then my acne always flares back up.
I have seen many doctors and dermatologists and my last one said that if what he put me on now does not work there is not many options left aside from acutane which I REALLY do not want to do.
ask your doctor about solodyn for the red pimples. they are a type of acne that needs an anti biotic. exfoliate exfoliate exfoliate. also for the jock itch and pubic itch. if you all like the sand and warm areas. it might be scabies. nothing to be ashamed of. it is not becuase you are dirty pa and warm beaches is where these critters live. it is more common than you might think. once they are gone you will have itchy itch that you cannot scratch which is a allergic reaction.
He was covered from head to toe except his face and genitals. Treatment was UV light therapy twice a week,oral medication called Solodyn 80 mg. daily (this med. comes in 40 mg. too) and Olux-E Steriod foam applied to the papules when they are inflamed only. Steroid foam for two weeks only as it this the skin. He has had two bad breakouts and then it has slowed. But we keep up these treatments religiously to keep it at bay.
