I'm wondering if there's any research supporting a link between solodyn and eye floaters. I was on Solodyn for about 2 months and my vision deteriorated over the same period of time. I have pretty severe floaters that distract me in reading and computer use. Previously a little farsighted but not requiring glasses. Optometrist says the back of my eye looks like "a spiderweb." No retinal detachment, glaucoma, cataracts, etc.

If someone had hiv would it take two years or could it have been a reaction to the medication solodyn which does have a side effect of joint pain. I have been tested several times since that encounter and my hiv test even up to febuary when I got sick was negative and the three previous tests before that were negative.

no results Abt two months ago, I was prescribed Solodyn, I use neutrogena creamy wash, Retin-A and some hydroquinone for the dark spots. The solodyn make me break out in a HEAP of HIVES !! so I stopped taking it about 3 weeks ago and now I have been prescribe Bactrim? It seems that antibiotics are the ONLY thing that cure my acne since I have really oily skin. The topicals dry it out in the beginning, and I only apply a little, but then my sebaceous glands quickly make up for the lack of oil.

I have been having these recurring white sores around my lower right lip where my lower lip meets the chin and the right side of my chin. The one on the lips are usually white and usually last for a week. It has been reocurring since last year and the last time I had an outbreak was february 2009. I had a sore appear last week on my lips and seem sore pimples around my right chin. I have got tested for herpes in oct 2008 and feb. 2009 and I was negative for both hsv 1 and hsv 2.

I just found out that I am 6-7 weeks pregnant and I took Solodyn 115mg for the first month of my pregnancy! I am really scared that this might have harmed my baby. All the websites say to avoid becoming pregnant while taking Solodyn because it has been shown to cause harm to the human fetus. Has anyone been in this situation?

I am currently waiting on my second lap surgery for my Endo and my doctor has decided to start me on Lupron. I have a lot of worries about this medication but he assures me it will help with the pain. Can anyone that's been on Lupron let me know what you thought of it, and what side effects you experienced/how you dealt with them? Thanks!

In February, I got retested again and it came back negative for both. I went to a dermatologist and he prescribed me solodyn (minocycline) for folliculitis and said that most likely that is what it is. Recently I experienced the same bumps on the same side of my lower lip where my lip meets my skin. I went to get it tested today and the doctor did not test for herpes, but said that it most likely was herpes.

Hi. I went to the dermatologist and he said it was Perioral Dermatitis. I mentioned to him I also had a rash on my hand and some itching on my legs but he didin't say anything about that. He prescribed Solodyn and the Duac gel. I took the Solodyn for a week and had extreme itching so I called the office and was told to stop that med. The duac gel seems to be working well. Now, my problem is that I still have extreme itching on my neck and legs. My neck is awful!

It is worth a try because accutane has its own side effects and especially for girls who may be sexually active...I'm not saying that your daughter is though...but getting pregnant while on accutane is very bad.

Was given a big bag of the diapers as a shower gift. Worst diapers on earth! Leaked every time, or the tab on the side would rip clean off. Waist of money.

I know this is bad, but I self prescribed some meds - my kid had it for acne. Solodyn = Minocycline. Been taking it about 3 days. Will that help. Internet said it was good for UTI and clamidia.

Went back to him and he prescribed me epiduo with solodyn. After a few weeks i had tiny red spots on my face and huge pimples. I tried proactive as well and that didnt work. After that i told him the situation over the phone and he said to continue the solodyn with epiduo. i did for another month and nothing happened. He now switced me to cephalaxin and i have been on it for about three days. my whole face now has tiny pimples starting to emerge in areas i never have had them before.

I climbed to 6 mg until my prolactin level went way past 1000, and my gynecologist went up in arms about it because it completely stopped my menstruation. It got lowered to 4 mg.

I had some gastro pain a couple of weeks after vic was introduced (week 10), this resolved after a couple of weeks. HGB, Platelets, WBCs and ANC were all normal prior to tx and became quite low. Rescue drugs were necessary to keep going. I was in a trial and completed a 43 week tx 6 months ago. It was tough but ok as I pretty much expected. I recently came off a 3-month long session of Solodyn for a skin condition I was diagnosed with over the summer. Prior to that, I had been on antibiotics for a severe colds, twice and have gotten yeast infections twice due to those antibiotics, so it was inevitable that I was going to get another yeast infection after I finished the Solodyn.

I'm thinking of trying Zoloft for my gad/pd. No real depression, just anxiety. I've been on Effexor for about 1 month and it doesn't seem to be working. It also gives me tremors and night sweats. I was on Lexapro for many years then it pooped out. I did very well on Lexapro. My anxiety has been a daily battle for the past few months. I exercise, do yoga, go to therapy, on meds to no avail. Has anyone had success on Zoloft for severe anxiety? What about side effects?

I have also been on Doxy 100 Mg for about a month now because of bacterial follicilitus on my thighs which does not seem to be working. My derm has put me on Solodyn now, I'm just wondering what test I should take to test for Lyme and if I should stop taking my antibiotics to test for it. Please help.

your bp drops when you lie down so you have to get up slowly sit on the end of bed for few minutes until it adjusts,im not too sure about pacemakers though, people on hear do not have the knowledge of a doctor so id listen to him personally it is good to read other peoples reviews too if theyve been through the same

It has spread north and fully around, under, and to the other side of my sack. It has gone up a little on the right side as well, right in the pubic hair area but has not hit my penis or infected any other region outside my groin area. It burns and itches like crazy. It seems the only time it feels good is when I am itching it. I know all this does it make it worse and opens the skin, again it is the only time it feels good.

I've never heard of it. I'm sure your grandmother meant well, but I wouldn't take ANYTHING without first checking with my doctor or my pharmacist. If you've read bad reviews about it, I'd listen to those as it's always better to be safe than sorry. If this is a weight loss product, it's not worth risking your health to lose a few pounds.

Spironolactone. Girls can take it, not boys. That is the key to cystic acne for girls. All hormonal based. I'm 49 and have had them since 17 years old. Still get them, but only once a year. Taking Solodyn 105 mg. with it, too. That's a high dose, but necessary. Spironolactone comes in 25mg pills. One pill a day is not enough! That won't fix anything. I take 100 mg a day to maintain. 50 mg in the morning and 50mg at night.
