s any research supporting a link between solodyn and eye floaters. I was on Solodyn for about 2 months and my vision deteriorated over the same period of time. I have pretty severe floaters that distract me in reading and computer use. Previously a little farsighted but not requiring glasses. Optometrist says the back of my eye looks like "a spiderweb." No retinal detachment, glaucoma, cataracts, etc.

Abt two months ago, I was prescribed Solodyn, I use neutrogena creamy wash, Retin-A and some hydroquinone for the dark spots. The solodyn make me break out in a HEAP of HIVES !! so I stopped taking it about 3 weeks ago and now I have been prescribe Bactrim?
It seems that antibiotics are the ONLY thing that cure my acne since I have really oily skin. The topicals dry it out in the beginning, and I only apply a little, but then my sebaceous glands quickly make up for the lack of oil.
I just found out that I am 6-7 weeks pregnant and I took Solodyn 115mg for the first month of my pregnancy! I am really scared that this might have harmed my baby. All the websites say to avoid becoming pregnant while taking Solodyn because it has been shown to cause harm to the human fetus. Has anyone been in this situation?
There is a company called IGeneX which puts out a test that looks not for antibodies to Lyme, but for bits of the Lyme bacteria instead. Most MDs don't use the test, but a Lyme specialist probably would. If you strike out with your regular doc, think about finding a Lyme specialist for a work up. I have been having these recurring white sores around my lower right lip where my lower lip meets the chin and the right side of my chin. The one on the lips are usually white and usually last for a week. It has been reocurring since last year and the last time I had an outbreak was february 2009. I had a sore appear last week on my lips and seem sore pimples around my right chin. I have got tested for herpes in oct 2008 and feb. 2009 and I was negative for both hsv 1 and hsv 2.
Last week I had another itchy red/white bump reappear and once again the bump popped and whitish/brownish first leaked out then a clear liquid out of the bump. Also, the pus had a funny odor. After a week there still is a little bump, but my skin looks flaky and dry and am worried that it could have been herpes because it looks like it's scabbing over. I am not sure what the differences between herpes and folliculitis would be.
If someone had hiv would it take two years or could it have been a reaction to the medication solodyn which does have a side effect of joint pain. I have been tested several times since that encounter and my hiv test even up to febuary when I got sick was negative and the three previous tests before that were negative.
If it's important to you to find out what's going on with your lips or surrounding skin, then you need to call the derm when you have this issue and tell the receptionist you have a "rash" and it's an emergency. This way you get in while it's actually just begun and get it cultured that day. They just will need to squeeze you in between patients or perhaps give you a canceled appt. and you will get answers not guesses as to what is going on.

I recently came off a 3-month long session of Solodyn for a skin condition I was diagnosed with over the summer. Prior to that, I had been on antibiotics for a severe colds, twice and have gotten yeast infections twice due to those antibiotics, so it was inevitable that I was going to get another yeast infection after I finished the Solodyn.

I posted in early December about a recurrent acne like infection on the butt. At that time you suggested it may be a staph infection of sorts. My Dermatologist did a nose swab, and the results came back as psudomonas, and I completed a dosage of Cipro, and used neosporin in the nostrils.
One of the bolis has come back however, approximately as big as a fingertip, and is somewhat painful.
How long does it take to get these meds out of my system? I know this sounds fishy and I assure you it is not. I have only been taking these meds for a short time, and hope not to have to take them much longer. But, I am concerned. It just takes so long to get an appointment with my primary doctor and to get documentation explaining or verifying the scripts is such a hassel. Any suggestions?
She is currently on Bactrim and due to go back to Dermatologist tomorrow with suggestion of starting Accutane. She woke up with this acne in mid-December and began taking Vyvanse a few weeks before. Could there be any correlation? I don't want to jump into Accutane if Vyvanse could be causing it but she is so self-conscious.
m still having pain at the back of my head in one spot and pressure that comes and goes .I am on my 9th day of celexa and the pain has gotten worse with that head full of pressure lots of tightness at the back of head . Could that be a side effect of celexa? I had a ct scan without contrast it was normal . But I'm still fearing tumor or aneurysm . Some say a ct without contrast is worthless . Would it have showed those problems ? My scalp also burns from time to time .
I had trouble coming off my beta blocker. I stopped it under doctors orders but felt really rough. I read about my beta blocker on the internet and it said you should ween off it, gradually. I started my BB again but at half the dose, breaking my pills in half. I took the lower dose for a week, then reduced the same dose to every two days for another week. I then stopped it altogether and felt great.
i would think you will be sick by Wednesday, but if your appt is wed then you'll just have to tough it out until then. Subs take awhile to get out of your system so tomorrow wont be super bad, but by wed u should start feeling it. You had better find out where your subs went???? Meaning who took them???
You may notice a difference in one week, and most symptoms would return within 6-8 weeks once the hormones are out of your system. I can speak from personal experience when I say that you should not stop taking this medication without first speaking with your doctor. I stopped taking my 125 mcg dose 2.5 yrs ago (when I lost my insurance!) and lived to regret it - developed anxiety, panic attacks, fatigue, brain fog, and more. It has been terribly confusing and stressful.
I have tried so many different medications and treatments but none seem to work long-term and afternoon 14 years of this I am very frustrated and just don’t know what to do. Many of the medications seem to help for a couple of months but then my acne always flares back up.
I have seen many doctors and dermatologists and my last one said that if what he put me on now does not work there is not many options left aside from acutane which I REALLY do not want to do.
