I'm wondering if there's any research supporting a link between solodyn and eye floaters. I was on Solodyn for about 2 months and my vision deteriorated over the same period of time. I have pretty severe floaters that distract me in reading and computer use. Previously a little farsighted but not requiring glasses. Optometrist says the back of my eye looks like "a spiderweb." No retinal detachment, glaucoma, cataracts, etc.

My glucose level was 103 in February 2011 without fasting which was within the range of 85-120. May 30 2011 I ended up in the ER due to a gallbladder attack. My glucose level was 115 which was high since the range used was 65-99. A week later the surgeon repeated the tests to prepare me for surgery. The glucose level was 86 which was normal since the range used was 65-99. Three days ago my blood was drawn an hour or less after eating.

no results Abt two months ago, I was prescribed Solodyn, I use neutrogena creamy wash, Retin-A and some hydroquinone for the dark spots. The solodyn make me break out in a HEAP of HIVES !! so I stopped taking it about 3 weeks ago and now I have been prescribe Bactrim? It seems that antibiotics are the ONLY thing that cure my acne since I have really oily skin. The topicals dry it out in the beginning, and I only apply a little, but then my sebaceous glands quickly make up for the lack of oil.

I just found out that I am 6-7 weeks pregnant and I took Solodyn 115mg for the first month of my pregnancy! I am really scared that this might have harmed my baby. All the websites say to avoid becoming pregnant while taking Solodyn because it has been shown to cause harm to the human fetus. Has anyone been in this situation?

I was put on solodyn (long acting minocycline) for a few bumps I had under my armpit that looked like acne. Nothing major. I was on 65 mg a day. I was also taking 200 mg Metoprolo ER to hold my HR down in the 80s or so. The HR did, via my own monitoring, get down to low 70s at rest, but I had to get up REAL slowly or get dizzy. I have gone down to 100 mg Metoprolo and 0 mg Rythmol as my HR isn't as wild as it had been and the Rythmol wasn't doing any good. My BP is typically 120/65 or thereabouts. I think it would run closer to 135/75 if I wasn't on Metoprolo for HR control.

just a quick question, im on metoprol 50 mg once a day bc of a 78 to 81 average bpm and now my heart rate is 60 to 66 bpm on the med is that to low should i tell my doc ? im 23 years if that helps 6'4 320lbs, i dont know if that matters ?

3 days after a cardiac angiogram I developed severe swelling and pain near the right wrist site. Went to ER 10 days later & a scan showed a clot. I was told to apply heat & return if worse. I returned yesterday (2 weeks later) & another scan showed the same as 1st. I was admitted & told they would do surgery to remove the clot. Yet the next morning they said they felt they would do more damage attempting to remove the clot. I was discharged on 60 mg.

My Dr. has prescribed to me Depakote ER 500 mg and my husband has been out of work until recently and our insurance hasn't kicked in and I have not been able to refill my prescribe and have been 6 days with out taking the depakote.

I saw a dermatologist and he said that it was folliculitis and prescribed me solodyn (minocyciline). The sores on my lips usually last a week, but I usually pop them and they are sore, but no blood or pus comes out. They heal and have dissapeared, but for a little redness that you can't really see unless you look closely in the mirror. Is there still a chance that this is herpes?

If someone had hiv would it take two years or could it have been a reaction to the medication solodyn which does have a side effect of joint pain. I have been tested several times since that encounter and my hiv test even up to febuary when I got sick was negative and the three previous tests before that were negative.

My blood pressure is usually normal and after taking the medicine it had been getting a little too low so I was told to take only half. Both are under total control with medications (Glucotrol XL 10 mg and Metformin 1000 mg 2 times daily, Also Benicar 10 mg and duriatic pill 25 mg ) I never dink nor smoke and I have no evident health problems .

He received 10 mg morphine in the ambulance, then 6 mg dilaudid, 4 mg zofran, and 1 mg ativan in about an hour. He weighs 190 lbs and is 6 feet tall. He suffered cardiopulmonary arrest. Have had 6 episodes of AF over past 2 years, each successfully converted chemically back to NSR while in the ER. My bp has been controlled by 80 mg. Diovan until my second round of chemo. Since I am in a clinical trial, I do not know whether or not I get Avastin, only know for sure about Carbo/Taxol. Anyone experience hypertension induced by chemo? My head hurts, it's hovering around 155/105, not good.

Hi. I went to the dermatologist and he said it was Perioral Dermatitis. I mentioned to him I also had a rash on my hand and some itching on my legs but he didin't say anything about that. He prescribed Solodyn and the Duac gel. I took the Solodyn for a week and had extreme itching so I called the office and was told to stop that med. The duac gel seems to be working well. Now, my problem is that I still have extreme itching on my neck and legs. My neck is awful!
