Ive watched lunar eclipses with a couple of my pregnancies and my kids are fine.

Lol why do people actually think this is a thing I'm not trying to be nasty or anything but lunar eclipses aren't a new thing they have been around since the dawn of time . It's a load of crap much like breaking a mirror is 7 years bad luck .

Hi,I just wanna know is lunar or solar eclipse have any impact on pregnant women or her baby? I'm a Indian n ftm, here people follow rituals like lying on bed straight by putting hands, legs n body straight from starting of eclipse till it's end otherwise child will have some sort of disability. Women should not do any sort of work Just she should rest on bed in above posture. I wanna know is it effect baby? Is this tradition follow anywhere else apart from india?

I'm not sure about the solar eclipse I think it's just the lunar eclipse since that one is considered the "bloody moon"?

The eclipse tonight is not a solar eclipse but rather a lunar eclipse. A National Geographic (fairly reliable I would say!) article I just read said it is the third in four with the last eclipse being at the end of September with the four combined being called a tetrad. I wouldn't worry too much. Thanks for mentioning it but we already survived two others! I have heard of hurricanes effecting pregnancy but we dont have to worry about those just yet! It's a lunar eclipse not a solar eclipse. A lunar eclipse occurs when the earth is inline and inbetween the sun and moon. It is the solar eclipse that should not be viewed without protective eyewear.

s a lunar calendar (not solar like the one we use every day) so if you want you calculation to be right you need to know you lunar age :) it's usually an extra year hehe ;)

Just wondering if something could be made up for women and their menstrual cycles and women trying to conceive. A good tool would be some kind of tracker that can be added along with an Ovulation tracker or menstrual tracker or just a tracker of it's own to go along with the Lunar Cycle. It is believed by some people that our cycles are influenced by the lunar cycles.

My husband is from Mexico and there he says women always wear a pin during pregnancy. My last pregnancy he kept sneaking pins onto all my clothes and it was so frustrating because I had to keep taking them off. But I don't put much into superstition. And as for a lunar eclipse I don'trreally see how it would have any effect on baby.

Scratching only makes them worse if they're there already. But I remember when the lunar or solar I can't remember eclipse happened my MIL told me I had to wear something metal and red if I wanted to see it because my baby would come out deformed. I didn't wear either of those and I've had ultrasounds that show a perfectly developed baby with nothing wrong.

t really know a lot but I am aware that man made products like the solar panels and petroleum based products are a problem. I do not yet know the answer to that but I imagine it is the lesser of evils. Less toxic to the environment than say fracking and tar sands. Nevertheless it is a good point and hopefully it is a concern that is being addressed. About the "pork" if that is the case, I agree with you but it seems like Washington runs by a different game.

keep in mind tho i was charting (bbt) and came across this lunar phases thing while i was bored at work and googling LOL.... i compared the 2 after the fact and was pretty shocked!!!! Cheers!! *baby dust to you!!
