Also since you have allergies, make sure that you vacuum your bedroom regularly and dust there too. I have allergies too and an allergy to dust so we make sure to vacuum our bedroom often and dust. Also make sure your mattress has a protector as well.

In the summer I dry my clothes outside on a clothes line. That helps cut my electric bill. I never use my air conditioner until the heat is unbearable. Until then, I use a fan. I try to cut back as much as possible. I suppose it has paid off some because in my utilities statements they show me as having the same usage as last year.

Why it happens ? He prefers air conditioner , no problem in cold room . Room and fan are always clean . No dust . He says he feels uncomfortable , if he stays long in a room with running fan he feels suffocated . He is not allergic to dust , neither he has asthma .

A humidifier, even if it's cool mist, will just add moisture to the air which you don't want. An air conditioner is actually a dehumidifier so it cools and takes moistur out of the air. I have window fans and they are great. The also have small air conditioners that you can get pretty cheap for a window.

t know what I would do!! We came home from work last Tuesday to find our air conditioner was just blowing air, and not cold air. The house was hotter than outside (which was 100 + degrees.)
