sneezing with pain

I was having dinner with my husband at a restaurant and while eating I sneezed several times. During the sneezing cycles I felt pain in both my arms going down to my hands, the pain in the lower extremeties of my lower arms was so severe I had to stop eating. I felt very weak for about an hour. This has happened to me before but it was milder. Is this normal to happen or does it have something to do with the heart? What should I do? Thank you...

Pain that gets worse with sneezing and/or coughing could be due to a herniated disk. You could have also pulled a muscle. Usually if your neck hurts from sleeping wrong it will slowly loosen up over a few days. If it's not getting any better, I would go to your doctor and get an MRI to see if everything in your spine is ok.

Oh and next time bring your.legs up to your chest or hunch over..

When I feel a sneeze coming on (which is often with this head cold), I have to basically hold my sides and pull my knees up to my chest. If I don't, I'm in extreme agony and sometimes end up in tears.

Yes is like a sharp pain, my happens by my hip bone (kinda) on the right... good luck ladys, now we know that is part of the 13-14 weeks...

Okay so earlier I sneezed really hard and felt a pulling ripping feeling in my lower tummy I now have a pain on the tummy that hasn't gone away hurts to walk lay down and to turn over any ideas what I could of done?

Every time I sneeze I get a sharp pain in my lower abdomen.. Is this cause for concern?? Sometimes it almost feels like a pop and the pain lasts a few seconds then fades away.. Is this just stretching or what?

in any case baby will be in your arms in two weeks and after that you will have other things to worry about with sneezing...like not peeing your pants.

I never thought sneezing would hurt so much :( I'm at the point where I'm scared to sneeze because it send my boy into a frenzy lol. And afterwards it gives me a sharp pain in my pelvic area . Is that normal ?!

I have a bad cold with soreness on both sides of my neck. The cold symptoms, including sore throat coughing and sneezing, worked from left side to right side and is starting to break but still have an occasional cough and some sneezing.

I've been having a problem with sneezing for quite a while now. I'll have fits where I'll constantly sneeze for 15 - 20 minutes at a time. The sneezing fits happen for no apparent reason and throughout the year and almost daily. Nothing that I have tried seems to help at all. My doctors have also tried various things to help with this (Nasal sprays, allergy medications, etc.).

I should add that the pain does not happen when I cough, bend down, strain, etc.. ONLY sneezing. Also, I had a CT scan in Dec 2007 because of an episode of Migraines I had that have gone away since and all was perfect on the scan. Thanks!

is one of the side effects of withdrawels sneezing? I have allergies anyway, but the meds that usually help aren't cutting it now that i am wd'ing from norco. if so, how long does it last?

ve been having pain in my lower back and right leg (right leg the pain has been bad since august 2013 , while sneezing and coughing . Though Not much of pain in the back) . I just got an MRI and in the report it says the following : 1. Lumberisation os S1 is seen 2. small marginal anterior osteophytes are seen at all lumber levels 3. No t2 STIR hyperintense focus is seen. 4. Diffuse disc bulge is seen at L5-S1 level indenting the theca and causing bilateral mild neural foraminal senosis.

m feeling it right now. I have runny nose and been sneezing since yesterday with horrible pain, Chest, right arm/shoulder and my right palm. I was lean, muscular and physically fit until I stopped going to the gym, and it's been 4 months.
