m thinking with the diarrhea and occasional blood that he has worms, very common in kittens. Take him to a Vet and get dewormed don't buy that over the counter junk, it's not effective plus it can make kittens very ill. As for the sneezing, this needs to be treated too it's common especially if kitty came from a cattery. Get it nipped in the bud before it turns bacterial and spreads to the lungs. So basically see a Vet ASAP.

Upper respiratory infection is the reason your kittens are not healthy. At so young an age, they need to be cared for constantly. That means the vet, food and the time you take to care for them. It does not sound like you have the resources for much if any of this. My best suggestion is that you re-home them with someone who has the time and money to raise them.

I have had several cats/kittens get ill with upper respitory et. in the past year and I want to disinfect my carpet to keep germs at bay. What would you suggest I use to disinfect my carpet. My carpet is basically shot and discolored so I do not have to worry so much about discoloration, but as for bleach, it does tend to make huge yellow spot--maybe use diluted bleach? Lysol?

ve got stored in thier. Hay, animal feces, etc... all of these have potential molds in them that can cause sneezing and runny eyes. Even the wood can mold if old and subject to moisture over time. So you'll have to assess the situation carefully to see if this is an issue. Barn cats are a classic theme in social culture (and disney films!!). On a side note, I have been dealing with allergies for about two months now because I discovered I am allergic to the dust in my new kittens litter. I had been constantly sneezing and blowing my nose, runny nose here and there. No ear issues until now. Any idea what this could be? Would it be best to see a doctor or wait it out?

I work at a vet clinic it's 40 for an exam and because she is a kitten most likely would be prescribed liquid clavamox which is about 24.50. Sounds like possible upper respiratory infection. The liquid is not hard to give.

s are....... How does an infection / abscess in the mother cat affect the unborn kittens?? What sort of abnormalities can occur in the kittens?? And..... How long does it usually take for abscesses to heal?? My cat is in so much pain and is still lame in her paw, but the vet said he doesn't want to give her any painkillers because she is pregnant.

Aside the fact that there are so many unwanted kittens around, spaying will go far in preventing breast cancer(very deadly in cats) in unaltered females.

Clavamox (clavamic acid w/ammoxicillian) is the most common treatment and comes in both pill or liquid. Also, if there are other cats in the home, they would need treatment too. Even if they don't have symptoms yet...as they may have it but not bad enough for symptoms so you just want to make sure incase they would get sick later and reinfect the home again. If your kitty is not eating much or at all and not drinking much or at all please get to the vet soon.

This all started when I took in 2 kittens from a lady who has passed them around to a few houses trying to get a cat to nurse them. My cats did so I kept them. There were no signs because their eyes were still shut. Now that they have opened the two I took in have it the worst and online it says its from being to a lot of different homes with different bacteria. I cant loose my two momma cats or have them wind up blind PLEASE HELP I CANT AFFORD A VET!!

i want to breed the two but my male isnt jumping on my female when she is in heat... she has been in heat twice now and i was hoping her next heat, wich will happen in approx. 3-4 weeks from now will be the one.. is there anything i can do to get the process going???

One of the kittens had a hernia (from a dog attack), and the vet did surgery to fix it, and it seemed fine. The other two kittens in the litter picked on it; sucking it's genital area. It became so sore and red that it started bleeding; so I seperated it out. A day later I noticed diarrhea, then a day after that it was deficating pure blood. I figured it was an internal issue related to the trauma; so I had it put to sleep. But now, one of the other kittens is deficating blood.

I have a 3 week old kitten, I think somehow its neck is broken its twisted sideways and crys and can only roll around what do I do will he recover is he in pain.
