sneezing blood in mucus

This was never happend to me before, when I sneezed a mucus with blood and when I search it in google, others said that if you sneezed a mucus with blood, you must stop blowing your nose. Is it true?

whenever i suck out mucus i find some blood in it and a couple of times when i blow my nose i see some blood too... i have been suffering from runny nose and i have been also coughing for like about 2 weeks and i have only used otrivin for the runny nose... what could be wrong with me?

i'm getting cold with severe headache once in two months.the headache will last for 4or 5 days. while i'm spitting out the mucus some blood coming out with the mucus. the same happens while sneezing my nose.what is the reason for this? do i need any medical checkup?

Iv never seen that much discharge my hole pregnancy also the way it look was like white jelly in my vagina. Could this mean my mucus plug is braking. Or early labor. I also just had a nose bleed.

My daughter has had a cold for two days and after that she started getting blood in her snot while sneezing. Now, she is even getting blood in snot when she is spitting the snot from her nose. This is kind of strange but every time any form of heat turns on my nose and sinuses go crazy. I get incredible sinus pressure, my eyes water, I start sneezing continuously, and sometimes it is so hard to breath that I can't talk (It just feels like my throat is closing up). It won't take long for this to happen but it is especially fast/bad when I am in a car right next to the vent, which makes things interesting in the wintertime.

Hi Dennis, I can relate a little, I´ve had a different sneezing than usually. It is like I can´t control the muscles in my mouth, and my sneezing is very "messy" instead of me usually sneezing very quietly with closed mouth for all my live (mom sneezes the same way). My sneezes changed last fall sept-oct when I was in some kind of flair (alot was happening, but begun with tight throat) and then I´ve been having a very simular kind of flare, last for over a month now.

I tried to lean over my chair but I almost fell over so naturally, I stuck my hand out to catch myself just in case. Well, I ended up sneezing on my hand. I looked down and seen BLOOD all over my hand and wrist from where I sneezed...I about panicked but then I tasted blood, too...I put my hand up to my mouth...and I'll be damned if I didn't bust my own lip sneezing so hard. Off and on I notice streaks of blood in the mucus in my throat. I have allergies and always have post nasal drip. The mucus is clear, not discolored so I don't think it's an infection. I don't smoke or drink. Can allergies cause blood in your mucus? I don't have the money to go to an ENT and my reg doctor told me he doesn't know. A brief background...I was diagnosed with IBS four years ago. It comes and goes, I have good days and bad days of course. In the past I've had a small, tiny speck of blood maybe 3 times tops. It happens to me all the time. I think its the increase in mucus. When you sleep it all settles then when you're draggin your bum to the bathroom. All the mucus start to drain and the pressure change in your sinuses causing the horrible sneezing fits...yaaaay biology stinks!! Lol Just keep the tissues handy.

Got told I have Tonsilitis by my doctor 2 days ago, I've got white spots on the back of my throat, Fever, Sweating, sore throat/ears. She prescribed me some antibiotics, which seem to have worked maybe a little since then, not too much improvement though. I wouldn't be too worried about this, although i feel mucus in the back of my throat a lot, I spit it out every now and then and 90% of the time it will have blood in it.

s really only a problem that occurs first thing in the morning when I wake up. The nasal mucus is also completely clear, which would pretty much eliminate the idea that it may be an infection of some sort. The only other symptom I've been feeling is a bit of itchiness at the back of the roof of my mouth, but that's been very, very rare. I just went to the bathroom and I went to go wipe myself nd ii wiped something that look like the mucus plug. it was only clear nd it wasn't that much. this never happen to me before.
