Barb669, I have wondered this for most of my adult life. I'm now 65 and my mother also had this issue. When I was about 28, it started and she said she had dealt with this. I just LOVE medical people who think it's the wine or the spices or that we ate too much. Why does it NEVER happen at home, not ever? I eat spicy food regularly and it doesn't happen, I drink wine sometimes but not much and it is equally at home, friend's houses and restaurants.

It was excruciating pain in my throat and ear. With medication, the blisters disappeared, but my sense of taste was all fouled up when I was able to eat again. ve experienced what is the begining of a sneeze ( itching in my nasal passages) but it does not develop into a sneeze, I only get a little drainage before my nose becomes dry again. A week ago, I was ready to sneeze but the sneeze did not come out of my nose but trhough my mouth as if I was exhaling. I have headaches on and off in front of my head. My doctor did not see an infection and prescribed flonese. any suggestions?

The outside of my mouth in response swelled noticeably, my bottom lip was fairly larger too. This is the first time this has ever happened to me. As I type now after taking some benedryll the swelling has reduced some on the right side but the left side has also swelled some but not as badly. The whole bottom portion of my mouth is slightly swollen.
17 weeks here, and that happens when I sneeze or cough. Happens more often then its doesn't. I'm also one of those "lucky" people that do that multi-sneeze thing. My boyfriend laughs at me when I sneeze now, because I tend to cus when I'm in pain. So when I sneeze, this long line of "bad" words just spill out of my mouth.
