sneeze look at sun

Any time I walk into a bright light or sunlight, I will sneeze, often more than once. If I feel a sneeze coming on, I can look into a light bulb and sneeze almost 100% of the time. It's kind of nice, I never have sneezes that "die" leaving me hanging.

If I feel a sneeze coming on, I will either look at the sun or a bright light in a room. I rarely sneeze in a low light situation. My doctor thinks I am nuts, as does my opthamologist. However, my Mom did this (but not my Dad) and both of my daughters do it too. My Mom says that her Mom did it as well. It's very strong reflex and completely uncontrollable. Does anybody else have this or know what it is about? I've always called it "light sneezing.

Co-incidentally as the spots arrived, I also felt like sneezing, and what I normally do when I get the urge to sneeze, is look into a bright light, this helps the sneeze come quickly. So I naturally glanced at the sun for about 3 or 4 seconds. This made me sneeze, but what it also did is made my spots go away. So here I am waiting for my migraine to come but it never came. I thought this was weird as I would always get a migraine after the spots.

So for the next couple of months I realized if I stared at the sun by day, or at a bright light at night, just when the spots arrived, it would stop my migraine dead in its tracks. The important thing was to do this the minute I saw the spots/aura. If I was too late, the migraine would develop.

However I would recommend another light source other than the sun as the sun can blind you. You are Not supposed to look directly at the sun as it can burn or ruin your retina. You should Never look straight at the sun!

It has to do with the Optic nerve in your brain be inflamed. Color saturation can be off you look at red or green the color is not as vivid. It is washed out. If you cough or sneeze to hard you can sometimes rupture the blood vessels in your eye. I did that once. It went away in a few days. If I have doubts about my eyes I see a Doctor.

Nonights, thank you for giving me a good laugh this early in the morning! I think you are correct about that. Sneezing just means your body is doing what it's supposed to be doing...getting rid of the crap and healing. It's a good thing, although annoying at times. I've always been a 'sneezer'. I have debilitating allergies to just about anything you could think of, so it's year round.

My daughter and I sneeze every evening about 10 times around the same time. No rhyme or reason... we just sneeze. usually when the sun is going down... maybe the change in temperature? Whatever, it just happens.

okay I saw it 2 very bright stars twinkling beside the sun ,really dazzling and worth looking at, that old skinny crescent Moon was shining aswell,I managed to look up close and personnal aswell with the binoculars .

Hi, Doctor: I remembered when I was a little kid I did something stupid like look directly at the sun for 2~3 seconds ,once or twice.just want to know how long it take to show the damage for looking at sun. it's been ten years and nothing is really wrong with my eyes(i do have nearsight,floaters and maybe visual snow which i am not sure of ), does that mean that i am safe?

So, today, there was so much water on the black cement floor and the sun was shining on it . There was a huge sun glare on it and I was staring at it because i was thinking about something. It was so bright and the sun on the water reflected into my eyes. My eyes were kind of uncomfortable. My questions are: *So, i just want to know if any parts of the eyes are damaged or damage your vision ? * is staring at the really bright sun glare of the water in black cement dangerous?

FourJays, i STILL sneeze every day too at almost 4 months!! mine comes 2-3 at a time as well...so annoying but i guess it does it for a reason...lol and congrats on the jump Ces!! you are doing great! just hang here as much as you need to for support! you can do this!

my new problem is that I am not scheduled to see her until next week. In the mean time I look at every mark on my skin as death!!! I have these brown spots on my legs... I was told by two doctors they were nothing "sun marks". But now I want to cry every time I look at them. There must be 20 of them on the front and back of both legs... can this be melanoma? Can it be all over both my legs? Please help. The waiting until I can be seen is driving me crazy.

Since 2 hrs it pains in my lower abdomen when i sneeze. Uncomfortable pain which lasts for long time. Can this pain be due to sneezing or should i be worried. Plz advice.

ok this is kinna weird but ive been in and out of addiction like 3 time and im not proud of it in fact im ashamed of myself. but it is kinna weird that everytime u r on opiate u,never sneeze,and seem like when u r clean sneezing is like a sign that u r clean, anyone with the same sign?

That is a lot of spots to appear over night, and the strange would have me saying to just go get them checked out by the doctor- anytime you have a spot appear, you see changes in the ones you have on your body, or one that is very irregular appears- just have someone look at it out of caution.

t and I feel the sneezes coming one, it is embarrassing as I sneeze at LEAST 15 times! Hard sneezes too! Seriously, if anyone figures it out post it here! I think there is some preservative in the food that is used at most/all restaurants. Just wish I knew exactly what it is so I could avoid it. Does it hurt any of you ladies to sneeze?? My lower abdomen kills me when I sneeze especially if I'm laying flat on my back?? Hmm could be the two surgerys I had not sure why it would be worse while preggo tho..

I'm so loving sun dresses. I feel so nice and pretty in them .and bentleysmommy18 my whole back is covered and I wear sun dresses that my tattoos show.I don't mind though . You wont look stupid wear them proud they are apart you.

OH Yes the sneezing I did a whole lot of that thought I was gonna blow my head off at times I sneezed so hard sometimes it hurt, it is crazy what the pills do to us 2marro is 60 days for me and I sneeze every once in a while now but now I know its just something that irritated my nose. and not being all messed up from pills. so sneeze away its just your body getten used to being free from all the medication it was on.

Everything was fine until last Sunday when he sneezed and felt pain at the needle site. His pain got gradually worse and it became hard for him to breath. On Wednesday he gave in and decided to go to the emergency room. They ran all these test from blood, X-ray, to a ct scan where he had to drink this special fluid that shows more on the scan. After all these tests the doctor tells him both of his lungs look partially collapsed and prescribes antibiotics and pain medication.

I get those all the time when i sneeze just wait iam 31 weeks aand now when i sneeze i pee myself most of the time lol
