Hi there,
So for the last day or two i've had a burning sensation on the skin of my vulva (the outside bit)- it feels like it's really hot and it comes and goes, I've looked and it looks a little red but nothing obvious.
I've also had an STI check in January and my discharge is normal, not lumpy or smelly or anything.
Help please!!
I think its coming from deep inside rather than my vulva ( I have rubbed my flaps and inserted a finger and sniffed and they dont smell like the stink I get when sitting or squatting) I am a very clean person and this is really getting me down and making me feel like a freak. I wish it WAS just a fishy smell, then I would know I was kind of normal as lots of these letters have confirmed, but not this stink. Its so upsetting.
hey me and my gf hasn't been having sex for quite a long time and recently she realise she had this swollen vulva on the right side... there isn't any smelly discharge and it's painless and itch-less. any idea if that could be genital herpes? we did have once or twice unprotected sex.
s noticed that I have a few small what look-like bloody dots that are on the inside of my vulva. (They are not bleeding) The only issue is that there is a burning when I pee and move around, but besides that nothing else. I used an item that usually shouldn't be used to masturbate, and I have no one to tell at home and couldn't find anything on the internet but one post on this site that had similar issues. Slightly afraid, but more concerned for my health.
The only way you could have herpes on your vulva is if your boyfriend has a history of cold sores (on the lips, which are very common) and performed oral sex on you (if you were both in fact virgins).
The yellow smelly discharge is a tell-tale sign of BV (Bacterial Vaginosis). A very common bacterial infection that is easily treated, and not sexually transmitted.
I would recommend you see a Dr. ASAP in order to address the painful bumps and discharge.
It could be what you are eating or the type of underwear you are wearing. Do you change out your pad often?
I find that using a wash cloth instead of toilet paper clean better. I can put some soap on it and clean myself better too. It doesn't always happen to me, but when it does I'm so self conscious of it I just want to hide in bed all day.
Also, don't wear nylons or anything tight. Let yourself get some air when you can as well.
In otherwords, do you notice it only on changing undies, or throughout the day, as in feeling it in the vulva? Reason I ask is that I had constant discharge for a time in my 30's which ended before menopause in the absence of HRT or other meds. Mine was egg white, but cloudy at times, and I noticed it in the lips. I wasn't TTC or even sexually active at the time, and had not abnormal pathology.
ve always noticed that a white stuff accumulates around my clitoris under the hood and also around my vagina, specially under the folds. my discarge is never smelly but this white layer around my clitors has bad smell. makes my vagina smell too. I clean 3 times per day but it still keeps accumulating althroughout the day. it won't go away just by washing. I actually have to rub it off ..sticks to my skin like glue. is it normal or does this have underlying serious causes?
If the discharge is really, really smelly, not just a little sour, but like old dead meat that has been left out of the refrigerator, that is a hallmark of an infection called bacterial vaginitis. BV is something to be confirmed by a doctor and treated with antibiotics. But I would guess you don't have that.
On august 24th I got tested for HIV because my doctor said the genital lesions on my vulva could be herpes (first outbreak). I think I also had symptoms of HIV during my herpes outbreak-- hot sweats, swollen glands, very sore throat, throat crypts, tonsilloliths, pouches of smelly white blobs in the back of throat, muscle aches, very fatigue, one night I had frightening delusion when I would wake up every 20 minutes and thought that I just got positive results.

She gave me doxycycline, metronidazole and canestan vaginal inserts which I took from February 20-27. I took another hsv-2 blood test on February 27th which also came back negative. I got my period on the 27th as well, which on the third day seemed to trickle, then go back to full bleeding.
Good evening. There's something thats bothering me. Every night I wash my vulva with water - just water. But before that, I rub my finger around my clit and smell it. The smell is unpleasant, really foul smell. More like feces smell to me. The same night, I want to see what's inside. I used a mirror and checked it myself.

Lately, my dog is getting smelly very soon after I gave her a bath, usually within a week. It used to take 2 month before my dog would smell so bad. Her fur also lost the shine when she became smelly. Moreover, the skin on her underbelly is getting darker now. The vet said we gave her bath too often but for the last 6 month we've been bathing her once a month but her condition didn't improve.
Where is the odor coming from? Most likely it is something fungal athleste foot, fock itch, or maybe something regularly in his diet.

I did switch deodorant to an antiperspirant but I've read that those weren't good for you either. It did work though because i can't stand wet smelly armpits.
