Common Questions and Answers about Small bumps under jaw

bumps

I finally took a good look at it two days ago to find small white spots about the size of a pencil lead under my tongue where it meets the jaw. I looked again yesterday and today to find the spots are now the same color as the rest of the tongue but still visible. There were also flesh colored bumps on the top of my tongue that didn't irritate and have also left completely.
My daughter has a significant amount of bumps under her skin on her head and down her jaw. When you run your knuckle on them they move. When they are big or there are a lot of them she gets a really bad headache. Her Chiari surgeon does not have anyone else with them so I am asking if any of you do. He thinks they may be blood vessels. She had surgery in Oct 09 and has been feeling much better but the "head poppies" as we call them seem to be getting worse.
For the last year my pores have enlarged and I have many white bumps under the skin on my right side of my face around the chin, jaw and top of the cheek bone down to the jaw with a few a couple in the middle of my right cheek. They arent hard bumps and most if squeezed while produce a white string substance and it never goes away. I wash my face morninng & night and have tried every type of face wash hoping to find my cure. Can you please tell me what this is and how do I get rid of them.
My husband has been having skin rashes around his eyes, raised small red bumps, for several months and just won
is this an infection? a small bump under the skin at jawline developed overnight to swollen painful glands, warm, itchy, painful, swollen lump, no fever, some tiredness. next day developed small bumps at this site, around 10, glands are less painful but still swollen. no sign of bite, no center as in a boil, just generalized pink blotchy look, but whole left jaw is still swollen and somewhat painful. the skin is not swollen and red like a bite or boil might be. it's more like under the skin.
No significant findings for me either. I did notice that when I press my finger between my jaw and mastoid, under my ear I can feel a hard mass, which the Dr. has assured me from the CT scan is my "Spinal Process". I can only feel this mass on the left side. I was terrified of C also, but have had every blood test, tangible, and visual inspection possible. I'm starting to think my neck vertebrae has shifted or twisted, causing all this.
Just like you, I also had those bumps in my thigh, jaw and recently in my neck. In my neck, i tried hot compress and it gets smaller... Those found in my thigh and jaw, they stayed there for years now. They didn't give me pain. The doctors, told me nothing to worry about. I was just told to increase my water intake. For your peace of mind, better consult an expert on the field. A dermatologist. EENT, or any physician who can diagnose you better. Regards.
About 5 months ago I noticed a little smaller than a pea (I would actually have to feel around for it) beside my jaw bone under my ear lobe. Now it is about 1cm maybe a little smaller but deffinatly bigger than it was 5 months ago. I have no pain associated with it and no sxs of infection or illness. I feel very healthy and well. I do not have any issue with my salvary system AEB no excessive mouth watering or pain when i think or eat lemons and salty things.
Then i felt a pain in my neck and found that i have a swollen gland under the side of my jaw which is painful and sensitive to the touch. I'm sure ive had this gland issue a few years back but not with the rash bite marks.....can anyone help??
My mother is having a similar issue. I too think your "bumps" might be "Tori." I found a great website that was extremely informative. It is www.doctorspiller.com look under "sores, lumps & bumps." You might not have found info under Tori because the med name is: Torus Mandibularis. Hope this helps...until I found this website, I was a bit freaked out when my mother asked me to look into her mouth!
I have been having some discomfort in the bottom of the left side of my mouth by my back molars for about a month. After moving my tongue I have found several small bumps. They are the same color as the area, there is also one where my tongue attaches to the bottom of my mouth. Any ideas on what this is?
I also have these small bumps on my skin. They are in the neck area right under my jaw line. I went to a dermatologist and he said they are probably flat worts. I read that bumps near the head are a sign of sarcoidosis. I have a probably 10 in a 1 1/2in area. They are the same color as my skin. I'm going in for an EKG tomorrow because I almost fainted while doing light cardio two weeks ago. Could the bumps be related to sarcoidosis? How do I bring this up to my doctor.
Please help me.. I have started feeling like there is something crawling under my skin.. I first felt it on my arms now my face around my lips and eyebrows. I have started pulling my eyebrows out and when I look at the tips I see a clear hard buildup of some sort. My back itches/ feels like something is crawling on my legs, face and arms. Its like something is under my skin and attaches to my hair and forms a mass on each strand of hair....
My skin is quite clear on my face except in certain areas. In the small area under my eyes, where eye bags would be, I have these tiny bumps or what lookes like Small pimples but they aren't. I've had them for years now and at first I thought they could be pimples but when I tried to pop them nothing came out, and the skin didn't break, it just turned red. I have them in other areas like around my jaw line, on my neck, and some on my arms as well.
I have white bumps on my gums I have been looking up gum disease and periodontitis and I think I have perioddontitis I have two of them on my upper gums one on the left and one on the right but the one on my left seems like it went down and is flat like now but is still white now the one on my right is still there and I can't tell if it got slightly bigger or is still the same though.
I have a smilar problem. For two years, I have had a small marble sized lump under the right side of my jaw. It is firm but not hard (maybe rubbery). It has not changed over the last two years and the are ocassionally feels a bit sore. The lump is high mobile..I can move it from under my jaw, around the other side, and up a bit. It is not in my skin...it is in the neck cavity, below the skin and tissue.
These all sound like small (acid) lumps, We all have small whitish bumps around our vagina's and penis', some peoples larger than others. These bumps can become 'clogged' from toxins in the body, stress, harsh soaps and other causes. They can become like a small white lump under the skin and depending on how close inwards to the sensitive areas they can be very painfull. Some you can squeeze out the build up and some are too hard.
Right now, I have papule's all around my mouth, a long with a few red pimple-like bumps and that 1 tiny red spot under my eye. I also developed 2 small, dry, round patches on my forehead which is now spreading to a 3rd. I had the exact same patch on my upper right thigh and no matter what I put on it, would not go away. They look very similar to the dry patches I had around my nose earlier except smaller.

I woke up in the middle of the night with these small, red, ITHCY bumps along the top and sides of my feet, around my ankles, and going up my legs/calves sporadically. Rescently went to a high school football game with flip flops on. My whole family went, but I;m the only one affected by this. Chiggers maybe? No. I don't think so. They are not fluid filled. But the itching is driving me crazy!!!! Please help.
A new symptom is that my throught is soar and more bumps have appeared. I have new bumps on the larger bumps on the back of my head.
I've also been using an anti-fungal cream but it hasn't been helping much with the bumps and the bumps are still spreading and itchy. The weird thing is, some bumps are just red, while others are flaky or have a dot in the middle. If you wouldn't mind taking a look, I took some pictures of the bumps. This is an example of them looking different. Here are some on my waist area, one has a red dot and the other is flaky: http://oi49.tinypic.com/8xsjo7.jpg these are on my neck: http://oi45.
They are not bumps. If I rub the area w/ a towel they do not rub off at all. I tried to remove one with tweezers, and it was very tacky (as in sticky) and clearly goes deep under the skin. Part of it broke off but I could still see that the pore was plugged and a day or two later top of the plug was sticking out again. i can't find ANYTHING online that looks like it.
I woke up one morning with small swollen bumps behind roof of my mouth right under my two front teeth. The day after day symptoms of gum disease started to appear, swollen gums and gums that easily bled while brushing. Then one of the bumps erupted and the second bump grew. The tissue above my mouth is sore and don't seem to be healing properly. I finally went to the dentist and she said I had gum disease and she told me to clean properly and floss daily to stop infection.
Since then I have been pretty healthy until recently. About 8 weeks ago I started getting these severe pains in my right side under my rib cage. When I take a deep breath it is like someone is stabbing me. I have no fever and this pain is re-occuring. Some days I am fine, others I can't move. I have been to the emergency room twice. The first time they told me my liver enzymes were real high but there was no sign of pancreatits and they sent me home with pain killers.
repetitive stress injury from this small repeated motion of flipping these small cards which I worked with. Now, 30 years later, it's still a problem. Has really hit me this week, but I've been trying some strenuous exercise after too many sedentary days. So, whether your pain/numbness/itching ever goes away (the itching is the WORST of it for me), you probably have an annoying problem but not necessarily very serious.
They are white but not usually as hard as sand. Usually occur under the thin skin under the eyes. They come out easily if they are new. Just poke a hole and scoop it out with the needle. Older ones become attached and u have to dig them out by cutting behind them with the side of the needle tip. Hope this helps.
